Southern Boreas was a welcome sight to her as the winter season wore on. She had left Winterfell with Incendio a while back to search for her other two children, though after searching for what felt like forever, she finally gave up. She didn't know if the pair of them went off to find Tyranis or even their own way...though she hoped Volcanic was still with his father. The poor boy had been born blind, and she hoped to the Gods that her missing children were safe and sound. They were adults now, obviously. But she was still their mother and she would always worry about them. Incendio was doing fine. He had grown in his own way and had decided to go off on his own at last. He was a quiet one, but she had no choice but to let him go on his own and figure his own life out just as she had.
But since she had been without a pack, abandoned by her mate, and now on her own for some time, she had resorted to filling the gaps in her life. She hated being alone. Whenever she was left alone for long periods of time, she couldn't help but think about all the years she spent on her own when her family first abandoned her. So what did she do? She got drunk and occasionally shared the night with strangers. It helped to fill the void, though it never seemed to permanently fill it.
Today though, she resorted to sitting at the base of a tree, digging for rotten fruit that might have been stored away by other creatures for the Winter. The sky overhead was dark and foreboding, but she wasn't too worried as long as she remained under the cover of the trees.
