Violet eyes blinked open as sunlight streamed down into the den as the morning sun rose into the sky. She lifted her head, glancing down at the five bundles of monochormatic fur that were scattered around the den, some pressed against her some laying on one another, all of them dead to the world. She chuckled softly, taking advantage of one of the few mornings that she woke up before them and padding quietly out of the den. Alena took a deep breath of the cool morning air, letting the breath out with a sigh. Every time she looked out over the thick trees of the Red Forest she felt at peace. This was her home, her pack. She looked back at her sleeping pups, feeling a sense of pride as she looked at them. Her family. It was a strange feeling, this love she felt for the little things. Never had she felt a sense of pride, a sense of joy from looking at anyone before, but when she saw them she knew that's exactly the emotions she felt. Despite the fact that she would have to raise them away from their father, on her own, she was still happy to have them with her. No, that wasn't entirely true. She had Dempsey. She hadn't seen him in a few days, but he had vowed to help her and was a member of Amenti, for however long he wished to be. She was never entirely alone. It was a beautiful day. The air was chilled with the northern air, but other than that the sky was clear and the sun streamed down through the leaves of the huge trees around her. Perhaps today was a good day to let the pups stretch their legs and adventure. As good a day as any, she supposed. She slipped back into the den, dipping her head to the first pup she came to and gently rasping her tongue over the small black form of Calix before saying gently to the whole litter, "Come on guys, wake up. He had become increasingly aware of the fact that there was an entire world being hidden from him. What had at first been just another wall to their den, though one made of light instead of darkness, had revealed itself to be something called an opening. The unfamiliar word had been given meaning when Calix first saw a wolf pass through it - something that certainly could not be done with the other three wolves. Curiosity had burned in his veins since that day, a curiosity that would not be sated as he spent hours staring fixedly at this fourth wall, this opening. Calix had been, as he often was, watching this mysterious opening when he fell into sleep. It had opened up and swallowed him, dragging him into a mysterious and wildly interesting place, full of shadowy images that took the world that he knew and turned it on its head. He had fallen asleep curled around his favorite pebble, a small token of the mysterious outside that boasted of a thousand mysterious scents. It was the perfect size for the scrap to curl around when he slept, and he almost always slept as near it as he could bear to be. The comforting rasp of his mother's tongue against his fur was what brought him back to the world that he shared with his family. Calix stirred, a low whine escaping his maw as he pawed at the ground, but it faded immediately as he processed what his mother said. "Ow... owtsid?" He questioned imperiously, gazing fixedly at the mysterious opening, his mother and siblings half forgotten already, along with his treasured pebble. Speech,

Ice blue eyes blinked open at the sound of her mother's voice, little snow white jaws stretching wide in a yawn. She caught her brother's question and she realized what was going on. Outside! They got to go outside! She grinned an excited smile, scrambling to her still unsteady, overgrown puppy paws. Jian brushed up against her mother's forelegs, asking sweetly, "Aw we really momma? Goin outside?" She bounced excitedly over to her sister Tocan, tackling the gray pup playfully. "Come on, gwise! Outside!" She scurried back over to Alena before her sister could retaliate for her playful attack, hiding behind Alena's pale legs with a giggle. So early in the morning yet already so full of energy and ready to take on the day. Speech Thought Others

Tocan had been sleeping, happily if she may add to herself. Until her mother and siblings woke her up. The girl flicked her skinny like tail as the others were excited to go outside all she wanted to do was sleep. The pup got to her paws in a clumsy manner until her sister tackled her, with a umpf. Tocan tumbled over herself and shot up. "Im uwp I'm up." The pup stumbled over her words as she yawned and gave a giggle. She didn't know why they were so excited about the outside anyway, it wasn't a big deal. It was just the outside. Tocan tripping over her paws followed closely to her mother and didn't want to be bothered by any of the others. "Something is gonna eat us mommy if you're not carefwul." Tocan gave a puppy growl. It wasn't very impressive as she crouched down on her paws focused on her mothers tail. "Like dis fluffy one." Her hop failed a bit as she hit the ground, pawing at the white thing. Her mother was probably the best play thing there was around, minus her own litter mates. Speech Thought Others

His small ivory paws twitched in his sleep and a huffy whine blew out from under his lips as he dreamt. The den was warm and safe and the little pup was oblivious to the excitement of his other siblings, at least in this moment. Voices drifted towards him in sleep, and he finally seemed to grasp their meaning, slowly he pulled himself out of sleep and opened violet eyes to the world beyond. Ink tipped tail wagged sleepily as he yawned. Outside? They were going outside! With a few wobbly steps he pushed past his siblings, somewhat roughly and raced towards the den entrance, determined to be the first of them to see the world beyond the den. Speech Others Thought

Nako lay curled up against the side of the den for which he had never left before, simply staring ag where his mother had disappeared.?Smells and objects came and went with each of Alena's ventures away from her young though, and the grey pup was curious about where she kept going out past the light at the end of the den. But now she had returned at this instance and mentioned how all of his siblings could come with her for the first time today out past the light. Curious... Nako let out a slow blink and stood up to give a bowing stretch, all of his siblings going out before him.

Calix was licked by the white she-wolf, Jain bumbling around the adult female's forelegs and came back to tackle Tocan who then got up and followed a retreating Alena past the light. Nako watched Lel pass him by and the bastard pup gave a high pitched bark as he followed after his brother out past the light. The grey pup came out to the feeling of soft earth beneath his paws and the scent of grass in his nose. The wind rustled through the trees as Nako sat down to survey the world with mismatched eyes. Where was his father?
