Shae stood just outside the entrance of the family den, now that they were allowed outside Shae wasn't sure what to do with her freedom. They were allowed to explore on their own as long as they didn’t go too close to the water. They could explore the water if they had an adult to supervise. Shae didn’t know what she wanted to do today. Momma said that the weather would only be getting warmer and the world would continue to become greener. Shae wasn’t sure she believed her, but all she knew was winter in her short life.

The tiny child sighed softly and looked up to the bright blue sky, as though the answer to her problem would fall from the sky. She wondered if momma’s raven or caracal might be close by to play with her. She wasn’t sure where her siblings were, but one of them would have been a welcome playmate. She lowered her little puppy bottom to the ground and sat in contemplation. She never had trouble deciding what to do when she had company.

Lyric after the birth he assisted with, had gotten a bit more confident with himself and with his skills. He was slowly getting there, to where he wanted to go. A healer, a healer of quality, ready to take care of any issues within his pack, not only to his family but anyone who shared this lands with him. And like that he walked through the pack lands with his thoughts navigating through the clouds, away from reality. When he noticed it, he was nearby the den where his cousin Poem gave birth to her litter. Perhaps he could come and visit? It wouldn't hurt to check on her and her family, right? And like that he went toward the route. And as he did, he saw a pup sitting before the entrance of the den. A little cousin! Well, this wasn't the first time he'd come across a young cousin for the first time. And like such, he approached aiming to sit down nearby. "Hello, there little one." He greeted smiling. ""

There was just so much to the world around her that Shae was half frozen with indecision as she lingered at the mouth of the den. She knew if she lingered here long enough that a sibling, parent, or perhaps the fabled cousins, would appear before her. Maybe one of them would have a better idea of something exciting and new to experience. Shae debated about getting to her paws when blue and lavender eyes spied the form of another wolf.

She didn’t recognize him, but there were a lot of wolves she hadn’t met yet. Tato and great grandma often stopped by for a visit, but this dark man was new. Her features brightened considerably, a grin on her lips and her bright eyes looking up to Lyric as he greeted her. He wasn’t near as big as her parents but she was used to the huge wolves of her family. ”Hello!” She returned with excitement, lifting herself from her seated position and wagging her tail eagerly. ”Who are you?” She asked boldly with a tilt of her head in curiosity.

The excitement the female showed upon seeing him approach sent a warm sensation into his chest, feeling his broken heart stop for a bit for then starting to beat again. All has been hard for him, death and self-hate consumer part of his old self, a boy of love to share, of smiling in true colors. And now seeing his little cousin an small but pure smile formed on his lips. "My name is Lyric, Lyric Destruction!" He said happily as his own white tail waged behind him. "I hope we can be friends!" Youth always brightened the place around them, and they certainly always managed to restore part of his happiness. "speak."| "You"

Shae was always excited to meet new family, she had already been told much of the pack was indeed part of her family. She didn’t know how everyone was related, but momma said it was easy enough to assume everyone was a cousin. She already knew Aunty Theo, Grandpa or Tato, great grandmother too! He smiled down at her and introduced himself while Shae’s tail wagged even more excitedly at her rump.

”Oh! I’m a Destruction too! My name is Shae!” She proclaimed giddily, and just barely refrained from going into a spiel about how she was named after her grandmother. ”Are you my cousin?” She asked with a curious tilt of her head. ”I’d love to be friends!” She returned as her bright smile beamed up at him.

He did know she was a Destruction like he was, he was there when she was born. A soft smile rested on his white lips as he eyed his little cousin. She was tiny but having parents that big could mean she would grow to be as big. Though that wasn't guaranteed he could only think she will. "Happy to meet you Shae!" He was happy, happy to hang out with the newest addition to their already huge family. "Yes, we are cousins!" He started to think almost everyone in the pack was related to him, so many he wouldn't be able to count them all with his fingers. "Then we will be friends! What would you like to do?" Shae was practically a pair of big blue eyes as she peered up at the older Destruction. She had no idea the terrors that could befall her or her family, and she was perfectly happy and innocent to life so far. The tiny girl already liked Lyric, he was incredibly friendly and nice. Shae loved all of her family, and it helped that just about everyone in Abaven was her family. She had cousins everywhere. Aunts and Uncles were probably the second most common type of family member but really it didn’t matter, Shae adored everyone.

The tiny girl bounced in place, her tail wagging eagerly at her hips as she gained confidence in Lyric and his presence. He agreed to be friends and somehow Shae seemed to smile even bigger. ”I would like to explore!” She said eventually. She was always ready to go and keep going, there was forever something new to see and do and explore.
