Strange things had been happening ever since the ice bridge had cropped up. The crimson king wanted to do more investigating, and just as he was leaving the pack lands, Ifrit had caught him. His son begged to go with him, and Ignis of course allowed it. He didn't mind if his children went beyond the borders as long as he was around of course, and although the temperatures sucked, he told the boy he could tag along if he could keep up, otherwise, he would be brought back. He knew his children were headstrong and could handle things. So he didn't doubt that Ifrit could keep up. "Just stay close. We're on a mission to figure out what's going, so you listen to everything I say, got it?" Ifrit nodded, and together they headed off to the frozen field.

When they arrived, Ignis paused at the edge of the territory, crimson gaze scanning the area for signs of any of the dire wolves that had been stalking around. So far, he hadn't crossed paths with them, and he hadn't smelled any fresh trails on the way here, either. The pair continued on, his cockatoo flying ahead and the wolverine taking up the rear. Asides from the cold winds, everything seemed quiet and normal so far...that is, until he thought he saw something move up ahead. "Wait." He commanded as he stopped in his tracks. He narrowed his eyes and focused on what was ahead. He swore he saw something move...but now everything was still. Was he just seeing things? Calling the attention of the black cockatoo, he motioned for the bird to go ahead and check things out. "I thought I saw something that way, but just to be safe with Ifrit here, go scout ahead. We'll be right behind you."

With a nod, the bird took off ahead and Ignis followed, though slower this time. He didn't really see anything out of the ordinary...but within a few moments, his companion was already coming back to him. "Well you were right in your assumption mate, there's definitely something there but er...I'm not sure what? It looks like a giant moving rock with little stubby legs and a head eh? It uh...didn't look dangerous. But it is massive, bigger than anything I've ever seen!" The bird sounded confused...and Ignis was just as confused with the description. "Probably a creature that came from across the ice...let's go see what it is. Ready Ifrit?"

Walk ---- "Speak" ---- "Hear" ---- Think

Ignis has a pair of Sika Deer antlers that are not depicted in his artwork (yet).
Ignis is unpredictable and may become violent with little or no provocation due to his "demon" schizophrenia inherited in his bloodline! Consider this your warning!
*Ignis' tail is docked, and his left ear has been torn away and now resembles a Battle crop style.
