Glorified Toothpicks

Rœkia wandered along the edge of the creek in search of decent materials they could use to make spears. She'd caught Lukina chewing on some of her bone jewelry and figured that now was as good a time as any to get the pup interested in chewing other items. A bone knife would be ideal but that would have to wait for better hunting. For now she would instruct the girl on making a basic spear and hope the brat wouldn't decide to poke her with it. She wandered along until she found a large hazel bush full of straight sticks and limbs that they could use to make spears. "Ok, if you want to chew then get to chewing, chew one of these off at the base."
