A Warning To The People The Good And The Evil ___________________________________________________________ Onyx spent most of her time wandering the pines. She was growing used to the still harsh, but not as bad winter tundra of her pack. But she preferred the pines over the shores. If she had to chose, she wouldn't go to the ship for anything. She had only peeked from afar, but the cold, damp sands didn't suit her. So instead she stayed around where her family lived. It was still hard to find a fun past time, but she managed to make it day by day. One day she would be able to go outside the lands of Incendium. Not that she would admit, but she wasn't ready for the survival of the outside world. Of course her parents taught her that thriving in this bitter terrain meant her strength, so she expected leaving home and not having their support would be a bad idea. While she was on her usual walk, she spotted one of the alpha's kids, they weren't that hard to miss. She immediately approached in an eager manner, "Hey you, you're uh- one of Igis' kids right?" It may have been disrespectful of how she addressed her alpha, but she wasn't all that worried about it. She was a bit of a stubborn spitfire anyway. "You want to have a brawl? Fight me." It was rather blunt and certainly not friendly. She didn't mean any true harm through her words, but if anything she was hoping to get the reaction she was looking for. Ciná wandered though the pines, absolutely bored and dying to find something else to do. He had found a squirrel and hunted that and played with it for awhile, but now that it was dead it wasn't really all that exciting any more. He wanted to do something exciting! Something challenging or new! He wanted to go somewhere and see something! He hated that his dad had to do pack things all the time instead of always taking them on adventures cause that's what he really wanted to be doing. As he was lamenting over what he was going to do with his day, a blue pup a little younger than himself came right up to him, questioning if he was one of "Igis'" kids. He quirked a questioning brow at her, wondering who she thought she was to call his father - the alpha - some strange nickname. Clearly she had to be one of Bronze's siblings. Who else their age was that blue? "Yes... I am," he replied reluctantly, skeptical of this demanding pup.

But then she demanded that he fight her and that got his attention. Well, at least she gave him something to do besides wandering around aimlessly and he'd get to fight which he always liked so seemed like a win win! A grin pulled across his face and he chuckled, looking at her with a challenging glare in his yellow gaze. "You don't have to tell me twice!" He immediately jumped into the fight, springing forward and trying to hook his forelegs around her neck, reaching for her scruff to try and take advantage of the fact that he was bigger than she was to push her down.

She was happy to see a like mind and someone not so worried about picking a fight. He was able to come on top of her, his teeth were a little more painful than her own maybe. She didn't want to linger on the pain or the fact that she had to figure out a good counter while in this weird position. Her body leaned a little to the right, her shoulder was nearly touching the ground but she tried to keep all four of her paws under her to keep some control. She then lashed out with her teeth, attempting to grab hold of the front of his right leg, directly above the knee. Ciná pressed more of his weight into her as she leaned down toward the ground, trying to double down on his attempts to push her down, but her head turned toward his leg and then he felt her teeth biting into his leg right above his knee. He winced at the feeling, but he didn't back down. It was the first time he had fought with someone besides his siblings so he was determined to do well! He couldn't just let some girl beat him, right? He let her keep biting his leg if she really wanted to, but he bit down harder on her scruff in return while kicking off with his back legs to try and finally topple her over onto her side so that he could pin her down for good.

That didn't make her tap out though. When her momentum moved backwards, her tiny pup grip on his leg released, and she would try again to bite him down where she had previously on his leg. Seemed like a smart move, put more pain where there was pain? Her little puppy teeth may have been sharp, but she knew she could do more damage if she was bigger, more developed, and even if she didn't want to admit it, more experienced. Ciná thought for a second that he was going to be victorious when he felt the blue girl fall to the ground under him and she was able to start pinning her down, but then she bit the same spot on his leg again and this time with her sharp teeth digging into the same wound it stung even worse. He tried to hold out for a little while longer, pushing down on her to try and get her to let go, but he couldn't pull away without it hurting more so finally he had to relent. He let go of her and started trying to get off of her, saying, "Alright, alright! Fine, you win!" he climbed off of her when she did finally let him go and he stumbled back, falling onto his haunches as he licked his wound a few times. He glanced up at her with an inquisitive look, assessing her. He wanted to be mad that he lost, but she was kinda pretty so he didn't want to be too mad and make her not like him. "Good fight," he finally settled on after a moment. He got to his paws and added, "We should fight again some time. I want a rematch!" With that he limped off back toward the ship to get his bite fixed up by one of the healers.
