Panic was ready, ready to fight. Even against her own brother, but not like this was a real fight nor one to severely harm him. She would just try asses dominance over him, but not to the point of being savage. And even less with her own sibling. Fear her viper wasn't going to partake as she wanted to fight on her own, to prove she didn't need her companion to fight all the time. She was supposed to be more than capable of fighting alone too.

She set her defenses, tail tucked, ears pinned, her hackles rose to dominance. Eyes narrowed, with her stance wide for a better balance. Lowering her head to protect her throat she waited for this to start.

Malachai couldn't believe that of all the new interesting wolves that had joined the tournament he'd be paired up with his sister. It wasn't that his sister was like the worst wolf or anything but he was so used to her being around so it was just boring, plus girl cooties or something. His sister was just not interesting to him in the slightest. But he wasn't going to turn his nose up at a fight at least. Unlike his sister he had no intention of holding back, it just wasn't his style... not that he was going to try and badly injure her he just wasn't really the type to be able to hold himself back once he got started in a fight. Admittedly he was a little sad he couldn't wear his cool claw covers but it wasn't like he felt he needed it. He was pretty sure he could just sit on Panic and call it a win. The boy faced his sister, a cocky grin spread across his face. "Not scared are you?" He asked, his tone teasing in only the way a sibling could manage, partially attempting to goad her into attacking first and also just good-natured ribbing. "Nah, i am not afraid of you nor of anyone. Panic is my name, after all, now let's have fun." Panic herself would have prefered to be paired with a different wolf. Having his brother wasn't the worst thing that could have to happen, she just wanted to assess her power over someone different, just to start giving a good impression of her to strangers. But well, there was no use to complain. She would just do her best, and see what happened. Eyes narrowed and ready or not she started by running in a straight line, for then doing like if she was to bite right away but not really, she wanted to fool him as at the very last moment she closed her jaws hopefully a few inches away from his face before turning sharply at the left, for now, do try to bite on his right shoulder, if her attack landed she aimed to place her left front leg behind his own frontal leg and pull it toward herself to try to affect his balance.

Malachai openly rolled his eyes as his sister gave her little speech, of the two of them she had always been the wordier of the two... just like mom. Instead, he took the time he could have spent paying attention to ready himself for his sister, he easily outweighed her but conversely, she was faster on her paws than he was and his most soft and squishy parts were still well within her biting range. So he'd hunch his shoulders, rolling them forward and dropping his head, ready to take on her frontal assault as Panic charged him. Her jaws would connect with his shoulder as he fell for her feint. The boy growled. Her forepaw fished out to try to knock him off his paws. Malachai smirked, and shifted his weight back, allowing her to pull his foreleg out from under him with no resistance, in fact, the other rose with it... and then kept on going. Malachai would attempt to rear up on his hind legs, likely wrenching his shoulder from her grasp. Then with a grunt, he would try to slam his whole weight back down and forward, making to drop the entirety of his torso and his weight down onto his smaller sister and hopefully crush her under his superior weight. Her brother was quick to react as he himself went to fight, with her jaws catching her intended target, and as soon as her jaws did she attempted to pull to cause pain but not to break the skin, just to give discomfort. But then as her leg went over him and the other to pull his leg, he rose to his feet and soon hopping her quicker reaction level would allow her to release her bite and try getting out of the way of his attempt to crush her. But she still got hit in her shoulder, getting it sore. Trying to ignore the increasing pain she aimed to now try to bite on her brother's left frontal leg aiming to pull it toward herself and then use his momentum to make him fall. Size never troubled her, size wasn't everything, she was more of a strategist in the makes than a brute force fighter.

Malachai hissed in pain as his sister's teeth raked down his shoulder, tearing free and causing bleeding lacerations. Still, his attempt to drop his weight on top of his sister wasn't a total wash, he clipped his sister's shoulder, his paws hitting the ground with an audible thud. But he wasn't given much time to gloat as his sister once more fished for one of his paws, her jaws clamping down on his wrist and she pulled back. Had she not learned her lesson already? Attempting to unsteady him like this only gave him ammunition for more brutality. Malachi stepped forward, bending his wrist so that it would hopefully be driven into her mouth and force her to gag, at the same time he leaned down and forward, jaws opening as he sought to grasp Panic's scruff, using his superior height to easily bend over her and hopefully pull back on her scruff if he grabbed it.
