Sorcerer didn't know what a tournament, nor what fighting was as he hasn't gotten a chance to fight yet or know anything about it. But either way, the Klein felt excited and curious, he wanted to use this as his first practice into combat, though he found himself more interested in healing. But still fighting could be a secondary skill, though he had yet a whole life to make his mind in stone. This place was huge and pretty, so this was his mother's former pack? Being the founder? That was cool and having his half-sister as the new felt cool too though he had yet to know more of his family spectrum. Fighting had always been at the top of her list of interests. Of course she enjoyed hunting, and really anything where she could prove her physical prowess, but something about fighting another wolf excited her more than anything. Learning of the tournament, she had immediately known she wanted not only to participate, but to win. Anything less than that would be shameful, even with her lacking experience. She was prideful enough that she detested the idea of not being on top.

Luckily for her, her first sparring partner seemed less than prepared for her, and perhaps a little unsure of what to do with himself. This would be easy. A smile slipped across her face as she set her defenses. A widened stance, shoulders squared to brace for impact. Her ears flattened, hackles rising, her head lowering to protect her neck. "Come on, you’ve got the first move." She was pretty sure that was how this was supposed to go, and with this being her first tournament she wasn’t about to embarrass herself by screwing up.

Sorcerer looked at his opponent,a red-coated pup around his age. Horns rested atop her head and that was quite cool for him, never seen something like that before. And soon the stranger spoke, giving him the first move. Now, what should he do? How to start? How to approach? He felt unsure and soon his nerves started to take over him, starting to affect his judgment. Quickly he just ran forward, aiming to turn to try bitting the left side of her neck, this wasn't that complex nor fancy but it was all he could do for now. It didn’t take too long before he made his move, but there seemed to be a mix of emotions flashing across his face before he charged at her. Was it uncertainty? Was it something she could use to her advantage? She narrowed her eyes as he moved towards her, and as he moved to bite the left side of her neck, she shoved her left shoulder forward towards his open jaws hoping for the bite to land there instead. She tried to push forward while reaching up with her right leg to try and wrap it around his neck, hoping that she could grapple him to the ground.

He needed to calm down or else he would make a clown of himself, but at this point, all he wanted was to finish this now. But then why did he entered? He couldn't just quit, he had to do what he came to do, and even if he was quite unsure he had to at least try. If he didn't, how would he even be able to protect his family in the future? This was just practice so why was he scared of? As his jaws aimed for Celosia's scruff as she turned, his tiny fangs landed on her shoulder, well that was something right? But before he could do anything, he felt her legs around his shoulders, feeling her weight pushing him down. As soon as she did, he umped upward, aiming to hit her chest with the place between his shoulders. Aiming to perhaps wind her. She was able to avoid a bite to the neck, instead feeling his teeth hit her shoulder. Luckily this was just a spar and not a real fight so there wasn’t any worry about getting serious injuries, but she felt a small sense of satisfaction that she had managed to divert his aim. As her legs wrapped around his body though, he lunged upwards, hitting her in the chest. A sharp exhale left her lungs, the wind momentarily knocked out of her. For a moment she wanted to fall back, get some distance between them to figure out her next move, but that wasn’t how she was going to win. She let out a low growl, instead thrusting towards him again, jaws parted to reach for the right side of his neck.
