She was back far enough that there was no danger of her or the other pups going over the cliff. Shae watched as the beast ran and the rest of the herd, realizing the danger, veered away. They already gave up on the lost member, and there were only a couple glances back her direction as she cried out and went over the edge. There was a massive tremor as she hit the ground and Shae scrambled down the steep cliffs to take in the sight. By the time she got there the creature was dead, but it was still an incredible and proud sight knowing she helped to bring down such an incredible creature.

His gaze fixed on the sky and cliff above as he and Allegro waited. Suddenly the view changed though, one of the beasts crashing down over the edge. Corvus nearly winced, imagine the sort of fall a beast of that size would suffer. Fortunately they'd waited far enough back that they weren't in danger's grasp and slowly he moved forward after the mammoth hit the ground, sending what felt like small tremors through the ground. The beast was mostly still, save for some struggled movements, which meant it was time for her and Allegro to finish him off. He dove in quick for the throat of the beast, though it thrashed against him it had been critically injured from the fall and putting it out of is misery wasn't a terribly difficult feat. Before long the rest of the pack made it down to the bottom of the cliff. Now they'd celebrate and feast, and harvest what they could from the mammoth for their crafters. They'd have plenty of pelts to last them for a long time into the future with this prey, he was sure.

Lyric rushed after his packmates, still holding the stick with fire on his white lips, feeling his lungs burning from the sudden and long race he wasnt really accostumed to having,from a quiet and steady life as a healer. He was tall and had the size of a fighter, but his trade was more into healing and saving others, being a savior rather than a warrior.

And soon the mammoth fell to hopefully its death as a loud crashing noise echoed into his ears. It sounded quite awful and he after stopping his race, closed his eyes in response. But well, he walked down to the bottom seeing already a bloody mess.
