I wanted to seek, but I got distracted
Lúta paused halfway up the steps, panting lightly as she took a breather. Now that she was a Knight and still recovering from her respiratory illness she knew she needed to get herself back in fighting shape. She'd done her best in the tournament but felt she could have done better. It was a sign she needed to train and so she was working her way up and down the stairs to build up her stamina and to push her lungs. That was one of her biggest concerns. Being a healer she knew the risk of scarring to her lungs was significant and it could fully cripple her, but so far her training was going well. She would gasp sooner than she used to but she had no asthma attacks or other concerning signs. She started trotting back up the stairs again. She could go a bit longer yet.

The sound of someone breathing up head caught his attention. Sota turned the corner he'd been nearing and faced the stairs up ahead. They were quite the climb, especially for a wolf as small as Sota. He caught sight of someone nearing the top, and decided against spending another day in solitude. Learning to be sociable and break outside his comfort zone was something he was still getting used to. Inhaling, he began his own ascent. The incline was enough to get his heart pumping quickly, feeling the burn in his little legs by the time he neared Luta. "Heading somewhere in particular?" He asked conversationally as he loped alongside her - or at least tried to keep up - grinning brightly at the other wolf. Perhaps if she was trying to accomplish something he could be of assistance; helping anyone was something he always found great pleasure in.

I wanted to seek, but I got distracted
Lúta marched along, her pace slowing as Sota caught up with her and spoke. She smiled and came to a stop. A little break for a chat would probably do her some good. Panting she shook her head. "No, not really. I'm just trying to get myself back in shape after being sick. Figured I'd work up and down these stairs for a bit. What about you? On a mission?" She wouldn't keep him long if he was busy but if he had time for a brief chat she'd be happy to lengthen her break. Maybe they could go exploring or herb gathering. Spring was around the corner in Auster and with any luck they'd see some encouraging signs.

Sota nodding in understanding. Working out one's body was a good idea, especially after recovering from an illness or injury; he knew the latter all too well. Even now, when the weather was particularly intense, he found his formerly broken leg would begin to ache a bit. Staying in shape was important, especially now that he was living a more stagnant life. He found himself idle more often now than he'd ever been. Maybe he could join her for a short while and get his blood pumping. "Well, glad to hear you're doing better now. I'd love to join you if you don't mind?" He offered, as much a question as anything else. "I have no real plans today. I was just hoping to see if I could be of assistance to anyone, honestly." Sota was perfectly happy doing grunt work if needed be. Now that he'd settled down within The Hallows and even moved to a different continent with them he knew this was where he belonged right now, and he was happy to work to keep his place here.

Lúta nodded. "Sure, I'd be grateful for some company." She'd been keeping to herself as she worked through the process of mourning Resin but she supposed it was time to start getting out and interacting with her pack mates more. Sota mentioned he'd been seeking to be of assistance to someone and that had gotten her thinking. She kept up her pace on the stairs but perhaps she could work out her muscles and make herself more useful at the same time. "Well, if you were up to it I have been wanting to to to the Lazuli Falls in search of some Ginseng Root. I'd be grateful for company and an escort." Ginseng Root was a very rare herb but it would provide plenty of exercise in hunting for it and if she were lucky she could start refilling her herb stores with precious items.

Sota was glad for the company, and seemed almost relieved when she admitted she didn't mind him tagging along. Good! He felt the strain already beginning to work through his muscles as he climbed the stairs, having to work a bit harder than her to keep up, thanks to his shorter legs. That didn't deter him though, especially since he knew exercise and working his legs was necessary to keep himself in shape. It'd been a long while now since his leg had broken but he knew it was more prone to injury now, and staying in optimal shape would help. "I wouldn't mind that at all!" Sota accepted her invitation gladly, beaming at her. He was falling a bit behind, but giving his best effort to keep up with her. He'd long since decided he didn't make the best scout for herbs himself, but he could certainly help escort her and even carry back whatever she found. If anything he knew he made decent company, as long as his company was wanted. Once the reached the top of the stairs he paused, letting her head the way down before following back into the courtyard.
