There was no doubt in her mind now that she was indeed pregnant. Her heat seemed to fade early and all of the other tell tale signs were there. All much earlier than if she had fallen pregnant with Chimera. As she had predicted, the river demon’s children resided within her. She hated the deception she was made to endure, and wondered how she would feel if they did indeed belong to her brother. She would never see, or hoped to never, come across the spirit again. Chimera was her children’s father.

He needed to know. Siren was tired and slept much of the day, she had always been more of a nocturnal creature. Now she was sleeping into the late evening and night. With a nap a few hours before dawn. She was tired, sore, and her stomach never felt right. Siren needed to tell him before someone else did. Delicate paws carried her through the forest to Chimera’s favorite clearing in the woods. If he wasn’t there now there would be no harm in waiting.

The place was quiet and vacant as Siren snuck forward and into the moonlight that filtered through the canopy. She turned her dual toned eyes to the silver illumination, lowering herself to her haunches and curling her braided tail against her hip. A soft sigh on her lips as she settled herself onto her elbows and sipped on moonlight.

"Speech"

Swapping nights back and forth between Aliana and Viper was tedious and tense. Chimera wished that all of the women in his life could just be civil with one another for his sake. Sometimes the irritation became too much and he took a night to himself. Tonight was one of those nights. He just needed his space, so the black and white man made for the clearing that he frequented. The grass there was thick and lush. Perfect for lounging, sleeping and other things.

Having gone there to be alone, Chimera was a little surprised to see Siren waiting there for him. The moonlight that filtered through the trees left glowing dapples on the beautiful fae's cream and caramel pelt. He couldn't stop himself from touching her to make sure that she was real.

Coming forward, Chimera gently used one paw to tip his sister's face upwards so that he could place a soft kiss upon her pale pink lips. "A welcome surprise," he rumbled before kissing her again. Chimera lay down beside the delicate lady, hind legs kicked out to the side. His giant form curled around her and he pulled her against him with one muscular foreleg. He had no idea what was about to happen.

He appeared out of the forest life a wraith from the woods. His quiet paw steps into the dappled moonlight barely audible over the sounds of the night. Winter was around the corner and yet crickets and frogs continued to fill the evening with their song. Chimera’s dual toned eyes fell upon her and the corner;s of her pink lips pulled back into a soft smile. She could almost forget the tumult that led to this moment. To tell him. There was no hesitation as he strode up before her and carefully tipped her chin so that he could more easily press his lips to hers. It was a sweet and tender gesture she wasn’t sure she could ever tire from.

His deep voice rumbled against her lips before he kissed her again. A pleasant surprise, before another surprise. This was the moment of truth. She knew her brother had no desire to beat around the bush and he wouldn’t appreciate her dragging the true reason for seeking him out. Or waiting on him rather.

Chimera curled himself around her and tightened his grip to her chest. She rolled into him, taking comfort in his close proximity and guarding nature. He had no reason to suspect what she would tell him, but she would keep to the truth as best she could. "I might have another surprise too,” she spoke timidly and buried her face in his chest. She didn’t have any idea how he would take her. "I’m pregnant.” That could be easily taken care of if, "I want to keep them.” Her words were no lie, she knew he would assume they were from their night together.

Siren curled up with him, accepting his affections and giving her own in return. A low rumble of pleasure rippled through the brute as he curled around the woman. His woman. She had ceased being just his sweet sister. Their relationship had grown, he felt. It had grown into something that felt right to the big man.

As Siren spoke about a surprise, Chimera stilled, looking down at what he could see of her body as she was pressed against his chest. Her words brought an icy chill to the pit of his stomach. Pregnant. She was pregnant. And of course she wanted to keep it. Or them. There was a war inside of him. He wanted to snarl and force her to take care of the mess, but he also wanted Siren to be happy. There was no way that he would ever accept another man filling her with puppies, so... Chimera gave in.

"I can't trust any of you to take contraceptives, it seems." Chimera raised one paw and massaged a knot of tension that had formed between his eyes. "You can keep them," he said after a long silence. Viper had already produced a child. Chimera wasn't sure how he felt about it at first, but having children made him feel... useful. Complete somehow.

Again Chimera looked down at the angelic wonder that was pressed against him. Seeing her swelling with his pups... Hnng. He quite liked the thought of it. One paw gently shifted to rest upon Siren's svelte stomach. "The children of a king and queen," he purred, nuzzling into the top of Siren's golden crown. Princes and princesses to continue his legacy. It wasn't an unwelcome thought.

Their relationship changed in every way, and Siren couldn’t say it was bad. She had been hesitant for so long, but the only way to keep the river god’s pups was this path. She saw a happiness in him that hadn’t really ever been there before, and she wondered if that was part of the spirit's plans all along. She needed to be with Chimera, she needed to step up and take her roll as Queen. Or that was what she thought before Chimera froze and for a moment she wondered if her plan would backfire on her horrifically.

He showed his annoyance by chastizing her lightly, something she would gladly accept over forced termination. Silence fell between them, and his frustration stewed for only a moment before he accepted her desires to see her pregnancy through. Incredible relief flooded over her. She hadn’t realized she was holding her breath and the girl heaved a heavy sigh as she relaxed again into Chimera’s chest.

She peeked up at him as he glanced down at her, and a soft smile had taken its place on her features. As she gazed into his dual toned gaze, his paw shifted to rest on her belly. His words were a stark contrast to his voice earlier as he warmed to the idea and spoke of children from king and queen. She forced the thought of Tiberius down, these were Chimera’s children. He nuzzled into her crown and she grinned.

"Hopefully not too many,” she chuckled softly. Siren realized how tiny she really was, and was nervous about having more than one or two puppies. "Our little royalty.” She sighed dreamily and nuzzled into Chimera’s dual toned fur.

Chimera continued to gently stroke Siren's belly. The belly where more children were growing. Their children. The children of a king and queen. As the man looked down at his sister's belly, he spoke softly. "I may not be the greatest father. We both know that I didn't exactly have a prime example." Their father had left almost immediately. Chimera didn't even remember what the man looked like. "I'll care for you. Keep you safe." The brute pulled Siren more tightly against his body, but not enough to hurt her. "All of you."

With Cerberus, Chimera had been hesitant. He didn't know how to handle a child as he had barely had a childhood himself. He was afraid that the boy would break. Perhaps when he was a bit older, things would be easier. Chimera didn't intend to ignore the boy. Children had never interested him, but now that there was a little creature carrying his blood, he would do what was necessary to bring it up strong. The same would happen for Siren's brood. He would treat them no differently. All of his children and their mothers were important to him. He would keep them all safe.

"Speech"

The feeling of his dark toes caressing her belly was unlike any other touch he had placed on her, it was intimate and special. The way he gazed down at her soft middle and the way he held her created soft flutters of her heart against her chest. Like she could see the love that was forming and developing between the two of them and the precious cargo within. His deep voice resonated throughout her small form as he confessed softly to her, maybe he wouldn’t be a great father, not that either of them really knew what that was. Hannibal left with Incubus before they could have even developed a relationship with him.

He promised her that he would keep her and the puppies she was carrying safe while he pulled her even closer. She curled against him, holding to him like he might disappear should she let go. Siren never imagined that this was where her life would take her. She had always known Chimera would forever be a large part of her life, but this development in their relationship hadn’t been expected. With his huge arms around her now Siren knew she didn’t want anything else. She was his and much as he was hers. The glimpse of his happiness that he showed her, and how content the both of them were here right now. Siren wanted to keep giving him this feeling, she wanted to make him happy, to see that special smile that lit his features as he looked at her.

"I know you will.” She whispered back softly into his dual toned fur as she tried to forget and ignore her deeper deceptions. "I’ll… I’ll try and be a good mother,” she promised softly. Her insecurities starting to show through with her unstable voice. Would she be a good mother? She had a terrible example to follow as well, would their children become as lost and forgotten as they had once been?

The insecurity in Siren's tones made Chimera's chest tighten. She thought so little of herself, but to him, she was the most perfect being in the entire universe. One big paw moved to cup her chin, tilting it upwards so that he could place a gentle kiss upon her pale, pink lips. The giant man spoke softly against those lips. "You are and will continue to be perfect, Siren." He kissed her again, his tongue dipping in for a quick taste of her sweet flavor. "You will be an amazing mother to our children." Shifting away from her mouth, Chimera nibbled along one golden cheek. "We had a prime example of what not to do. If we do the opposite of our parents, we'll do well. Besides," the black and white giant lapped at Siren's jaw and throat, "I don't think you're capable of doing anything wrong." She was so very, very perfect in his eyes.

Siren’s confidence in herself wasn’t near the level Chimera had for her. In her mind she was still a clumsy little matted puppy and not the regal queen he saw in her. Siren confessed quietly and Chimera’s massive paw shifted from her belly to gently tip her delicate chin. Dual toned eyes fluttered shut as he kissed her and the girl yielded to his touch. He easily touched on her desire and with his impassioned kiss she felt the fire in her core ignite. He pulled away only enough that he could speak against her lips and encourage her.

He reminded her of the perfection she was before he ran his tongue along her lips. He spoke like he was the one who could peek into the future, she would be a great mother to their puppies. His words were everything that she needed to hear, and she couldn’t and wouldn’t argue with how he saw her. She could feel his perception as reality, that she could do no wrong as he kissed and nibbled down her pale neck. Siren sucked in her breath as he lingered near her throat.

"What if they hate me?” She whispered as she leaned into his touch and gripped to his fur tighter. Her fears laid bare for him to see.

Chimera continued to lick and nibble down Siren's exposed throat and the lust was beginning to rise in him as well. It astounded him just how much he wanted this woman. The feel of her slender body against his, the touch of her soft, long fur, the beating of her heart as their bodies pressed together... everything about her was perfect. She was made for him.

Siren's words of doubt brought a frown to Chimera's face and he drew back enough to search his sisters gaze with his own. "They won't." He kissed her sweetly. "And if they do, I'll kill them. We can always make more." The man grinned. His words were joking of course. Probably. Mostly?

"Speech"

She spoke her very real fear to him, and she would give up all of her fears to him. All except one. Chimera was Siren’s protector, she was safest here in his arms. She wanted to be in his embrace, she needed his kisses and nibbles along her throat. She craved the warmth of him surrounding her tiny body and the look of desire on his features as he gazed at her.

He pulled away from their soft kisses and Siren’s gemtone gaze fluttered open to meet his sharp eye. His frown spoke similarly to the words that left him before he kissed her again, the affection was sweet and reassuring. He lightened her worries, but only for a moment as he offered her a more permanent solution in case he was wrong. There was a light joking tone to his voice, but Siren could feel how serious he was.

"Don’t make me go through pregnancy again.” She returned in a similarly amused tone. She was partially serious though, still early on she was already contending with the ill effects of her condition. What was more was she wasn’t even certain a real pregnancy between them would ever make it to birth, or if they should be allowed to get that far. "”I'll just be happy if they’re happy.” She followed as she lifted her lips back to his own. "And as long as I make you happy.” Siren added as she looked up into his sharp pink and clouded silver eyes.

Siren asked him to never make her go through pregnancy again and the giant actually chuckled. "Even if I end up enjoying seeing you full of my children?" Chimera nibbled Siren's cheek lovingly. He wouldn't make her go through pregnancy again. No doubt his massive puppies would be hard on her. "If you don't want more, then you know what to do." Siren was a healer. An herbalist. She knew what contraceptives to take to make herself sterile, either temporarily or permanently. Chimera didn't care if they never had another litter as long as he could continued to enjoy her body.

As his sister spoke again, Chi held her close. "You will be happy. I guarantee it." Was that not his life's goal so far? Everything he did was to make Siren feel like the queen that she was. Anything that she wanted, she would have. If he had to beat it into his children's brains that they would be good to their mother, then he had no problem doing that.
