His journey to check out what was going on beyond the Northlands led him further Southwest as he continued his mission to acquaint himself with some of the other alphas. This one, he knew, was also long-standing, though he wasn't wholly familiar with the more secretive pack. Still, he forged ahead with the intention of speaking with the alpha and potentially seeing if they were open for trade more than anything. He had already made the decision to let go of his pack. There was no point in trying to lead ghosts, after all. For this alpha, another reindeer hide wrapped around a set of antlers. Whether they had use for it or not was beyond him, but it was more a show of goodwill and respect much like the last. He reached the border of the lake, observing the quietness of the area, but he wouldn't be the idiot to underestimate that. His pack had been just as quiet in the North, after all. Though he imagined that would change in due time. But with someone else at the helm - whoever that may be - he didn't care. He was moving on. He paused a respectful distance from the border before tilting his head back and called for the alpha. |
