Spark had not managed to win her race but she had moved on to the next round of the fights and she planned to channel her frustration into her next fight. Spark shook out her limbs, stretching her neck as she separated herself out and waited for her opponent. The silver young woman was smaller than herself, something Spark had to admit she was not used to. It would prove to be an interesting fight that she might not be able to rely solely on her speed.


Her paws tapped out her feelings as she spoke, face and tone flat as always: Genuine, friendly. "Let's have a good fight."

To say she’d been rather surprised to win her first fight would be a slight understatement. She’d lost her race to Fidelias, though, which was fine with her. Though it had come from a twist in her ankle toward the end of the race, she’d been able to deduce that it was only a slight sprain. Simply soaking it in the cold river had been enough to numb the initial pain and ease any swelling. She’d had plenty of time to rest and assess the sprain before she spotted her next opponent and made her way to the fire-marked girl—only a few inches taller than herself. Interestingly, the silver-eyed girl’s features were blank of expression, even her voice as she stated that they have a good fight. Curious, mused the Ancoran, watching the gestures tapping away. However still the girl herself was in face and voice, that paw was almost frenetic by comparison. Head cocking, Legs watched the pattern, then haltingly, tapped a mirror, prow-points lifting in question as she answered, with a usual dose of her cheerful confidence, “Let’s. If you’d like to take the first move?” Bulwark, defender. Her defenses settled into place, light on her paws, center of gravity lowered with a bend of knees and hocks, tail flicking nearly level with her hips and ears flicking slick to her scruff as she watched the other girl for acceptance of the starting move, eyes twinkling in good humor. Interesting, Spark took a moment to observe her opponent, the other young woman was not as tall as some of the other wolves Spark had fought, and yet she stood with much the same stance she'd gone up against. Spark for her part was more of a dancer, a fencer. Quick and light, designed to dart in and out of reach. Yes maybe it meant she did not quite do as much damage per attack but if she could keep her opponents at arm's length she could harry them, she played a game of stamina. Spark nodded, flitting away slightly to set herself up as well. Her head lowered and tail flagged out but her limbs remained loose and though her toes spread to grip the ground they would not stay planted for too long.

With a burst of speed, Spark would attempt to close the already not considerable gap between the two girls, time to test the other girl's stance. Attempting to pull up short of Legacy Spark would flash out a forelimb attempting to fish it around Legacy's left foreleg and then try to jerk to Spark's right. Hoping to pull the other girl's leg out from under her and see just how well she maintained her balance.
