Úlfr was delighted that he'd managed to claim a victory over Ardyn. The younger male was not the easiest wolf to defeat, especially with his multitude of mutations. Soon it was time for the second round to start. Night had fallen by now but the moon shown bright on the horizon, big and round. It's orange light added to aire of fall as the evening brought with it a chill. Úlfr squared off against his opponent. Another youth with a multitude of mutations. He'd have to stay on his toes and watch his spacing. "Hey there, name's Úlfr. I'm ready whenever you are."

Takeshi had won his round against the Valhalla boy, which had filled him with pride, but he wasn’t done yet. Next, he was paired with another male. He was smaller than him by almost half a foot and seemed to weigh less. He also lacked any mutations, which was beneficial to the boy. His own mutations offered extra defense to him, though he was still vulnerable to those with saber teeth or enhanced claws which could tear through his thick scales.

As they faced each other, the man introduced himself as Ulfr, a ruddy name that seemed to come from the back of the throat. He offered a dip of his head in greeting, hoping he didn’t seem like too much of a dick for not introducing himself, but it wasn’t as if he could help it. He assumed his stance, legs apart to steady himself before he charged forward, moving as if he were going to attack from the side but, at the last minute, he moved to attack him head on, head lowering to try and lodge his head under the other’s chest and throw him onto his back.

"Speech"

Úlfr double checked his defenses then tensed as he waited for the match to begin. His opponent seemed a good deal younger but the boy was definitely larger and more solidly built and of course had added defenses and weapons with his mutation. Ulfr had switched so quickly into focusing on the fight he hadn't even realized the other boy hadn't spoken to introduce himself.

The other boy charged and Úlfr tensed, shifting his weight into his hind legs so that he'd be ready to spring. The moment Takeshi's head lowered, Úlfr leapt high and forward, attempting to leap over the larger boys head and land on his back. Úlfr's fangs sought to bite into the boys back, just in front of the hips. His front legs attempted to wrap around the boys waist while his hind legs would see to spread on either side of the boy's back behind the shoulders. He hoped his sudden weight my cause the larger boy to stumble.

Takeshi certainly hadn’t expected his opponent to soar over him. With his head down, he hadn’t seen the man leap into the air, so when his full weight suddenly landed on him, he felt his knees beginning to buckle. He grunted, the let out a displeased growl and a wince when his opponent’s fangs dug into his lower back. It burned, pain threading its way down his hind legs and he instinctively bucked, trying to get the other off. After a few good kicks, if his opponent wasn’t dislodged then, he’d tuck his head and kick forward, hoping to roll headfirst and send his sloth slamming to the ground on his back.

Úlfr landed on top of his opponents back and he immediately sought to try and stabilize himself. His fangs dug in as he wrapped his arms around the horned youths torso. Takeshi immediately started to buck and as much as Úlfr tried to hang on he was eventually bucked off and sent crashing into the ground. This wasn't the first time he'd been thrown, Úlfr quickly rolled back to his feet and charged once more at his opponent, trying to ignore the pain in his left knee from the fall as he attempted to bite into Takeshi's side, just in front of his right leg. This time Úlfr was going for a hold and hoped he be able to hang on.
