Sparrow had worked carefully to have friar help her grind down the mushrooms and crystals and add them to her favorite brews. She let them sit as long as she was able, but without the sun to warm them, she wasn't sure if they would develop much more flavor. They did LOOK cool, though. In their glass bottles, the crystal ones glittered like the night sky, with a soft, faint glow. The Mushroom Brew, however, glowed much brighter. Sparrow wondered if it would stain pelts or teeth of those who drank them. Well, only one way to find out! Sparrow called to anyone brave cool enough to try her newest brews! She told them to not be greedy, only choose one: Crystaliquor, or Mushbrew.

Hyacinth was if nothing else... Always up for a new adventure, and with the way things had been playing out for the last little bit adventure certainly seemed around the corner. He was eager to see what his king had in store for him. He approached the bottles, clearly dubious. "You sure these are safe to consume?" He asked, a brow quirked over mismatched gaze, looking at Sparrow searchingly. Then he shrugged and reach out for the nearest mushroom drink. They reminded him of cissy and the mushrooms she used to pedle. Might as well get totally fucked up right?

Hyacinth wandered away, searching out the slowly growing group until his eyes landed on a woman he didn't recognize (Ina) and slide up beside her. "What do you suppose they'll taste like?" He asked, gesturing with his bottle.

Ashmedai has heard his daughter's calls for drinks and, oh boy, don't threaten him with a good time. They were made with all this fucky glowing shit that had sprouted everywhere. One of the pirates was also there, asking about what it was, was it safe, what did it taste like, blah, blah, blah. He shoved the other man aside- tossing him a good natured smile. "What? You chicken? Bok bok!" Ashmedai approached the line of vials. "Well, I'm always good for a drink. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?" He tossed a quick glance at Sparrow. "Right?"

Proserpina She had heard the call as she was passing by, though she recognized the voice from before. It was the woman who had thrown a huge party and the very same one who had won the challenge for the disbanded pack. If she remembered correctly, Sparrow was her name and the open invite to what she assumed was the victory party was something she couldn't pass up. After all, she was sure Eli would appreciate her representing Aerie. No longer would they remain in the shadows, that was for certain. When she arrived, there were wolves already starting to gather. She didn't really recognize any yet, though she suspected they had been at the challenge to support their leader. Regardless, she eyed the concoctions that Sparrow had laid out for them, though she felt awkward just walking up and taking one. Instead, she remained where she was until a handsome hunk of a star-clad man came up and slid beside her with a question. Pale blue gaze looked from him to the concoction he had as she eyed it curiously. "Who's to say until you try it?" She offered with amusement. Maybe she could learn to loosen up a bit around these guys. "Speech"||Thought||"You"

Hyacinth rolled his eyes at the old man as he approached, shaking his head and retorting back over his shoulder. "I'm only worried that it'll be too much for your poor ticker to handle." He turned his attention back towards the woman, a grin spreading across his face as she responded. He nodded, chuckling slightly though there was a clear nervousness to his tone. "Well uh I suppose you're right..." He lifted the bottle, flashing the woman another smile. "Down the hatch." Then with a toss his his head he lifted the bottle all the way and chugged back a swig, eyes screwing shut like he was terrified the moment the liquor touched his lips it would kill him.

Proserpina It didn't take anymore encouragement for her before the galactic male agreed and grabbed the bottle in his mouth. She watched with amusement as he tilted his head back, eyes screwing shut as he chugged back the mushroom brew. She watched curiously to see if anything would happen to him, but so far...he seemed alright. So far with the energy and good vibes happening around her, she didn't feel so awkward and out of place. This was a good, easygoing group and it actually helped her ease into socializing a little more. Curious about the brew, she decided to go and grab a bottle for herself. After all, she was probably gonna be here a while, so she might as well have a drink, right? Returning to the man's side, she uncorked the bottle and looked at it for a long moment. Taking a deep breath, she felt hesitant but it was now or never. "Well, here goes nothing," She grabbed the bottle and threw her head back, feeling the warm liquid slide over her tongue and down her throat. Her eyes screwed shut as she took a couple of chugs, drinking about half the bottle before she put it down. A shiver went through her body as she swore it felt like the brew was working almost immediately. Turning to look at the man, she leaned into him, shoulder to shoulder, as she flashed a smile. "Top that, big boy!" She challenged. "Speech"||Thought||"You"

It was warm, why was it warm? Hyacinth pushed down a moment of panicked confusion, it wasn't like some drinks weren't warm he just hadn't been expecting it. Also holy cow it was strong? Was that the mushroom in it? Hyacinth shook his head, taking a brief moment to appreciate the sweetness that spread over his tongue and feeling his head already starting to swim. The woman pressed into his side, having already taken a swig of her drink and Hyacinth blinked at her his eyes struggling to focus on her. Her voice reached him and feeling a little bit cockier now that his limbs hadn't suddenly popped off after drinking from his own bottle he gave her a grin, a quick quirk of his eyebrows and tossed his bottle back for a much bigger swig this time, maybe a little too much.

Proserpina Maybe this wasn't a good idea. It was unlike her to fraternize with mortals and much less the way she was doing it, but all caution had been thrown to the wind. Perhaps it was her sheer curiosity, or maybe she was subconsciously craving more than what she had. Perhaps it was the will of the Fallen God that drove her to this point, But whatever it was, she was here for it and there was no going back. She couldn't, even if she wanted to. It was too late at this point since...well, since she had already started drinking the mushroom brew and she was sure it had already started working. Why else would she be leaning up against this guy and challenging him to a drinking game? He would accept her challenge, and Ina squinted at him through with swimming vision as she caught his grin before throwing his head back for another swig. "I'm...impuhressed yoor keeping up," She slurred. Not bad for a mortal. Considering she hadn't imploded or spontaneously combusted after drinking that, she grabbed her bottle again and tossed her head back, eyes screwing shut as the brew washed down her throat. This time, the taste was bitter. Like she was biting into a lemon, but then it turned sweet like she was eating a mango...huh...weird...maybe the more you drank, the more the taste changed. Dropping her bottle at her feet, she looked up at Hya, her body swaying as she seemed to now be looking at two of him. "How 'bout...the bof of you gib me a...toor?" She leaned heavier into his side as she stood on wobbly legs and flicked him with her tail in a playful way. "Speech"||Thought||"You"

Hyacinth

Your overly-large swig tastes strangely familiar, but you don't remember what exactly it reminds you of. Whatever it is, it's comforting and warm and encourages you to drink more and more and more and more.

While it may have tasted fine going down, the aftertaste of the brew is coming back on you hard. You've never tasted anything quite so vile in your life, and suddenly without warning you vomit.

The other two that joined heartily and readily took to competing with one another in who drank what and how fast they drank. Ashmedai laughed to himself, watching to see Sparrow's reaction, but she gave nothing away. He watched as the woman drank and asked the pirate man to top that, which he then attempted to, then she drank more and before long, the both of them seemed two sips from incoherently fucking. Ashmedai rolled his eyes and directed his attention back to the bottles left at Sparrow's feet. "So... no hints for your own old man?" he asked while eyeing the glowing liquid, then the glittery one. "I feel like mixing them would be a bad idea..."

Sparrow looked as the visiting woman beat both of the men to the punch and got right down to drinking. She couldn't blame her, the men were lollygagging and taking way too long for the beautiful brews Sparrow had spent so much time making. It wasn't every day you got the chance to drink glowing or glittering alcohol- and while maybe there was a very good reason for that, Sparrow certainty wasn't going to question or acknowledge it. Before long, the two of them were sloshed and her father, Ashmedai, was left asking for some sort of hint. Sparrow shrugged, "I dunno... one's mushrooms, and ones crystals. Take your pick."

Sparrow gave Ashmedai literally nothing as he asked her for some advice. He sighed heavily and looked between two jars. One glittered and swirled with every movement, like a pond reflecting the night sky if the night sky was a LOT more starry than it was. The other was just... glowing extra brightly. Like... it could be used to see at night. Ash would have called lightning in a bottle, but Sparrow had already named it something, so he wasn't going to steal her thunder... haha, thunder to her lightning? Get it? Man, he was not drunk enough for this. Ash grabbed the glittering bottle and drank it. It was gritty and bitter, but felt strong as it went down. Huh... might have been better to just look at.

Ashmedai

The crystal liquid feels impossibly heavy in your mouth, almost like it's not a liquid at all. It's difficult to swallow, and you feel that it's hardening further for every extra second it lingers in your maw.

The grit felt larger and larger and more heavy until it felt like Ashmedai could spit out full crystals. He struggled to swallow and eventually turned to his side to spit some out, although it still looked like a liquid... huh. Well, it didn't taste all that great anyway. Though maybe it would be good for staving off hunger since it felt like lead in his stomach- but isn't that how eating rocks would feel anyway? These were just ground up rocks after all. Well, you can try anything once, Ashmedai reminded himself as he tried to rid his maw of the sand like grit between his teeth.

Firefly Shoppe- Ashmedai

A firefly draws your attention nearby to reveal a cloaked figure with a small wooden table in front of him. On the table lay three items, with their prices beside them. "Choose wisely, and only choose one," the figure says. "If you can afford it, that is." Perhaps he accepts cŕ̷̕y̵̍͊stals and mushrö̸́̀ō̴̉ms... or perhaps its worth bargaining for something greater...

Either he was drunk, or this alcohol was laced. Well, it WAS laced with crystals, but crystal WHAT exactly was Ashmedai's new concern as he turned his attention to some fireflies that decided to jumble up under a coat and form a guy of some sort. A guy of fireflies. A firefly guy. How weird. The figure offered him some goods in exchange for some mushrooms or crystals or whatever. He didn't have whatever it was. Ashmedai shook his coat off and approached the man, "Okay, now how about you and I make a deal? You give me something cool and I'll give you what's left of my daughter's spooky alcohols. Sound good?"

Proserpina She didn't know what all was in the brew Sparrow had made, but all she knew was that she suddenly got a really vile aftertaste from the alcohol. She grimaced, stopping suddenly before she managed to take more than two steps. She felt wobbly, her vision doubling as she glanced at Hya for a moment, then towards those gathered at the party. Her mouth suddenly began to salivate and her stomach churned. Too drunk to understand what was going on coupled with the fact she had never puked before, she didn't know what this feeling was. She was about to ask them what exactly was in the brew, but the moment she opened her mouth, she puked. Green liquid shot out of her mouth and at her feet as she heaved. It lasted for maybe a couple of moments, but when she was done, she licked her lips and swallowed. Well...so much for making an impression on her first date. She'd be conveniently forgetting about this when she sobered up later, that was for sure. "Speech"||Thought||"You"

Proserpina She wasn't sure if she was seeing things, or if the fireflies that flickered about were smarter than she thought. Her vision swam in and out as the blue glowing bugs flickered into a coat where the strangest thing she'd ever seen appeared. Her eyes grew wide for a moment as she tried to make sense of it. Shaking her head, she squinted at the figure again. Was this some sort of apparition sent by her God? That was the only real explanation she could think of...he motioned for her to the table and Ina looked at it, though she wasn't sure what the items were. If this creature was sent by the Fallen God to punish her for her actions today, surely he'd show some mercy to one of his devoted followers...right? Forgetting that there were others here, she approached him and spoke to the being directly."I apologize for my...actions today. I imagine the Fallen God sent you to punish me, but please, I ask for mercy! I have been lonely for many years with nobody but my family...I wish for that to...change, so that is why...I am here.." She spoke slowly so as to avoid angering her God with slurring words. "As a loyal follower, I ask for his forgiveness...I will do anything to remain in his good graces, though sometimes I do wonder...has he forgotten about me? Has my God abandoned me? Or is he truly there, watching and protecting me? I sorely wish to continue believing but...part of me is begging for proof so that I know I am not putting my faith into nothing..." Her voice was quiet, though she didn't care who heard her pleas. "I have these to offer, as well as a cloak in my den that I made myself from raven feathers...it's one of the first pieces I ever made, and one of my most prized possessions that I planned on passing down should I ever have children, but..." She wasn't sure if the deity would accept her bargain, but it was worth trying...she had lost hope that she would ever have children, so it only seemed right to let the piece go. Proserpina begs for the Fallen God's forgiveness, as well as proof that he hasn't abandoned her.
