Onyx had found herself wandering a little farther from home and more so without her parents lately. She would have never expected anything bad to happen to her, though maybe she believed she could take whatever was thrown at her. Not that she had noticed, but her attitude of near superiority was starting to push away what friends she had. Though she expected the ones she felt fond of to be as strong as herself, both physically and mentally.
As she wandered the path along the mountain's base where the foot traffic had trailed around the north eastern mountains, she was instantly pulled in by the sounds of whispers that escaped the entrance of the crypt that she had never noticed before. She did pause for a moment, was following strange whispers into a cave a good idea? Probably not but she wasn't a sissy.
She moved forward to realize that the crypt wasn't just a cave and instead nearly a maze, and it was where she took more caution because she certainly understood the risk of being lost inside. But as she seemed to slow down and rethink her decision to enter, the glowing firefly visitors seemed to appear out of thin air and start to drift further into the mass grave as if luring her in. She was thinking this wasn't such a good idea.

Rasha had been following voices that had gotten lost inside her head, but also outside of her head. It was odd, but then again, so was everything outside of the den. They led her towards a crypt that branched off into many paths. They told her to follow this one- no that one- no, no, this one here. It was hard, but she tried to follow the loudest voice. That was probably a good decision. Before she knew it, she was back at the entrance, though the voices called from behind her now. Ahead of her, there was a blue wolf who matched the fireflies. "Hey uh... are you a spooky ghost?"

She seemed to come out of the complete darkness though maybe that was because of the fireflies that made everything beyond a foot in front of Onyx blind to her. It was just before the young wolf spoke that she noticed her but she didn't jump out of fright or anything of that nature. There was little that scared Onyx and most was the real deal though there was sure to be some sort of mask over her emotions at times. Maybe right now because the fireflies and the moon were something that did bother her but she showed otherwise. She just tried to make it to the next day, she had her training and her family to protect her.
The girl asked if she was a ghost, and Onyx looked down at her almost as if she were dumb. Tiny wolves were no different to her, she had a sister who was much smaller than the rest of her siblings, and she seemed to get around okay. "No." She blatantly responded, but her attention moved quickly away from the purple girl and instead towards the crystals that grew in a variety of sizes along the boned corpses that seemed to be pushed to the side by passengers. Onyx was nearly ignoring the girl with her back to her at this point, approaching the crystal formations and lowering her head to sniff around them.

The other wolf answered blatantly that she was not a ghost. Rasha eyes her warily, "I dunno, that sounds like exactly what a ghost would say, too." It made sense, the woman was blue! Blue like the fireflies and glowing bunny! "Did you get blue by eating the mushrooms? Or fireflies? Or were you always blue?" Surely a ghost wouldn't eat.
The voices still called from behind and Rasha looked around for a moment, holding her breath to hear better. "Well, even if you are a ghost, sounds like there's others here too, huh?" Rasha looked for affirmation. Surely this not-a-ghost would help of if she really wasn't a ghost, right?

Onyx sighed as the purple wolf insisted that she was ghost simply because she said she wasn't. But she still kept her attention observing the crystals along the dead residents of the crypt. "I've always been blue." She definitely seemed uninterested in keeping company with the young wolf. But her company seemed to think otherwise. "I said, I'm not a ghost." She huffed while turning her eye toward the purple girl, she would be easily ready for a fight. As she quickly went to look back at the crystals, she leapt up and brought her paws down hard on them, breaking a few of the taller crystals before scooping them up and attempting to take them for herself. She turned back to the girl, almost ready to leave the crypt, "And no, I don't know what you're talking about." But her eyes moved up to the fireflies, because she had only come in here originally because of the whispers that led further into the maze. Maybe the girl would catch on to her lie, or maybe she just wouldn't care.

Onyx
As you bring your paw down to break off the crystal, you swear you feel it pull away from you. A moment of foreign panic floods you as the crystal shatters, not unlike how you'd expect to feel if you accidentally killed your closest friend.
Maybe you shouldn't have done that...

The ghost insisted she wasn't a ghost, which was fine. The voices said she was a ghost, Rasha could hear them. "Ok, but the other ghosts say you're one of them, so, like, who should I believe?" She was about to ask for proof when the other woman turned to break some of the crystals. Well, ghosts couldn't really break things... could they?
Rasha consulted with the ghosts. They said no, they couldn't break things, so why should she be able to. Rasha concluded it didn't make any sense either.
Rasha leaned forward, "The voices say that was pretty un-ghostly of you."

Rasha
As you confer with the voices a scentless wolf blinks mysteriously into view, a look of offense on it's maw. It gestures to it's ethereal body with a paw, and then towards Onyx's own as if to say "see the difference?" and then turns and disappears below the horizon.
Maybe you shouldn't have done that...

As Rasha asked the voices, one of them manifested as if to show Rasha that this woman wasn't a ghost. After observing for a moment, Rasha nodded slowly. "Okay, I get it. You're not a ghost after all," she said as if it was even normal to consider if someone was a ghost in the first place. "So then, who are you anyway?"
Rasha took a second to gather some of the broken crystal pieces, tossing a look towards the blue not-ghost, then to the actual ghost. "Yeah, you look nothing like her, really. You're not see-through at all, but she is. But also she doesn't have guts. Are ghosts supposed to have guts?"

Firefly Shoppe- Rasha
A firefly draws your attention nearby to reveal a cloaked figure with a small wooden table in front of him. On the table lay three items, with their prices beside them. "Choose wisely, and only choose one," the figure says. "If you can afford it, that is." Perhaps he accepts cŕ̷̕y̵̍͊stals and mushrö̸́̀ō̴̉ms... or perhaps its worth bargaining for something greater...
Inventory:
- Firefly's Favor- 1 /
A firefly in a bottle. Might come in handy if you let him go at just the right time.
- Serious Steroids- 1 /
The cloaked figure assures you it’s not really steroids but he does say it’ll make your body more resilient, he won’t tell you what’s in them though.
- Xtra Shrink Potion- 2 /
It comes in an extra tiny bottle. There’s barely even one drop!

Although the other wolf woman was not a ghost, she WAS frozen. Rasha was tempted to poke her when a firefly bumbled lazily by. Following it with her eyes brought Rasha's attention to the large figure, glowing blue and covered in a coat. Rasha's mind raced back to the words her mother had said about not hunting or eating glowing things. Ok, but this one was offering her a treat! And she had some of those currencies from before anyway! The Shrink potion looked cool! Maybe she could become an ant! Very quickly, Rasha went to exchange the currency for the Xtra Shrink Potion before dashing away as fast as she could.

Onyx was a bundle of angry nerves as the girl continued to go on about the voices, or ghosts. But suddenly the crystal flung from her grasp and shattered into a million pieces. Just as she was looking at the broken mess, a wave of indescribable panic rushed over her. She started to hyperventilate, and it was like everything else around her turned into a blur. Did the crystal do something to her? Was there something inside it and it infected her when it broke? It seemed the girl she was with was gone now, but honestly there was no hard feelings. Other than the girl being annoying.
