Use this thread to apply items from the Firefly Shoppe

The shoppe appeared and left... now what?

When you attempt to use an item, a staff member will be here to help you apply the effects as well as use it correctly. Remember, it is not guaranteed that all items or their uses will be revealed after the event. You can sacrifice an item to learn exactly what it does without using it on your character, but it will be discarded afterwards.

Be aware of the following:

• If you no longer wish to continue or play out a certain item's effects, you may stop posting at any time, but you may find you are locked from certain options as the event unfolds.
• Effects applied by staff are permanently unless otherwise stated.
• You may hold onto an item as long as you like, including after the event.
• Please avoid assuming anything not explicitly stated about the items. Player and character co-operation and information sharing is highly encouraged. As characters interact and learn more information, as expressed directly through NPC posts, will be added here and you may use any of the gathered information from this list in your posts.
• IMPORTANT: The world is growing more dangerous. Participating assumes a reasonable amount of risk and/or injury. Proceed with caution! Remember that with great risk often comes great reward... or so they say...

How to use an item:

In ANY thread, decide how you want to use your item.

After you attempt to use it, post here.

Staff will respond, either giving you some idea of what the item does, or applying its effect.

Continue the thread.

REMEMBER: All actions are considered final, and it is possible you or your char won't love the result. This is a risk you take by using such items, please be aware.
