Ciná made his way across the stretch of ocean between the main shore and the island with the crystal encrusted woman across his back, setting down the flute he had received from the weird cloaked thing so that he could pull them across on the ferry. He didn't know what exactly had happened in the time where he had been sucked into some other world by the firefly creature, but when he found himself beside the purple swirled woman again it seemed like the deal hadn't gone nearly as well for her. He still didn't know exactly what the flute did, but at least his ears and eyes weren't being swallowed up by crystals.

He didn't know exactly what to do, but leaving her alone in the canyon while she was deaf and almost blind felt pretty shitty and it smelled like she at least had some kind of group that might come looking for her. He scooped her up, unable to really tell her where he was going to take her or discuss some kind of plan, and ended up bringing her back to Fenmyre hoping maybe Chimera might have some idea of what to do with her or how to go about looking for who she belonged to since she didn't smell of any of the packs in particular.

Once they made it across to the island's shore he took her over to a spot in the shade of a tree and dipped down so he could slip her off of his back and onto the ground—trying to be mostly gentle about it. He took a couple steps away and tipped his had back and called for Chimera before settling onto his haunches to watch her just to make sure she didn't go wandering off somewhere. She looked pitiful and he really wished he knew what she had done or said to get such a fate. Glancing down at the flute by his paws he wondered if he should even dare to mess with it or if it would backfire on him somehow too. It had some crystals on it like what were clogging her ears. Curiosity got the best of him and he picked it up while he was waiting on Chimera to arrive, turning it over and examining it for a moment before attempting to blow through the open end of it to see if he could make a sound.

Cináed Praetor

After the cloaked firefly man, Duch had realized immediately that the creature had made her blind. But she didn't know until the young brute started talking to her that she had in fact lost some of her hearing too. But it seemed not to be just a curse. Soon after, gems stared poking out of her ears and made a trail down her cheeks and under her eyes in a symmetrical fashion. The crystals were much larger inside her ears than along the bottom of her eyes. She could feel them when she moved her ears or blinked her eyes, but she obviously couldn't tell what they looked like herself.

The young brute carried her through the ocean, but she had been here before. She knew where they were heading once he went into the water. But honestly, it hurt hear heart to be reminded of the isle. Especially now while her memories were all she could see opposed to what the pack had done to the island.

She wasn't completely helpless, as the brute slid her off his back, she took her balances before stepping back to take a seat. His call sounded at a normal voiced level rather than a loud call across the lands. She had assumed he called for the alpha. She hoped that they could help her even it was just setting up outside the lands to get someone from the band to find her.

You blow on the flute, and feel something like a memory well up. Wait... you remember how to play a song, as if you learned it long ago. You are able replicate it- shakily at first, but then fluidly as the melody fills the air.
