Quarantine wasn't going well for Belladonna. Sure she didn't really like working for Aliana, but she really didn't like being isolated, alone in a den while mushrooms were growing out of her eyes. It started small, just slight cough from a strange irritation she felt in her lungs. By the time she woke up that morning, the unexplainable happened. Thankfully, she wasn't alone, but she was actually alone... and that's what made it worse. It would have been better having at least someone to stay with her, even if they were infected with something.
For now, she was pretty lucky. Only one of her eyes grew mushrooms and leaked a strange blue goo, and same with the ear on that side. Her left side, however was fine... for now. It was only a matter of time she imagined before that eye would also be claimed, leaving her completely blind. Would this be permanent? Would she have mushrooms growing out of her head forever?

With the coming of the strange times and the variety of infections that seemed to be ravaging his wolves, Chimera had insisted that they stay separated from one another. Those with any glowing sickness were to sit tight and keep to themselves in the hopes that, with time, everything would blow over. Keeping his wolves separated, those not infected would stay healthy, thus being able to care for those that were ill. That was his reasoning, anyway. Despite being unaffected himself, Chimera regularly put himself at risk as was his duty. As king and ruler of the pack, he would tend to those in need as much as possible. If he became ill though... well. He didn't want to think about it.
With a slab of venison between his jaws, Chimera moved towards the place that Hela's daughter had decided to call home. Pushing inside, the monochromatic man placed the meat on a clean looking surface. "Belladonna," the giant man rumbled in greeting. "How are you feeling?" Mismatched ears perked as he visually inspected the fae.

Belladonna was laying around when Chimera entered; what else was she supposed to do? With only one usable eye, her depth perception was off and combined with her ear and the general weight of the mushrooms, her head felt heavy and like she was off balance. Laying around was the only thing she could do, and since she hadn't exactly been here long, she hadn't acquired much to keep her occupied, either.
She could smell the meat before he entered, but it wasn't until she spoke that she rose her heavy head from her paws and looked at him with her one mismatched eye. "Guess?" She asked, the use of her voice causing a raspy, spore-caused cough to erupt from her lungs. She was quick to cover her mouth the best she could, but wondered if it was really of any use. He'd either get it or he wouldn't fraternizing with the sick. "Like shit." She filled in quickly after her coughing fit ended, in case he wasn't aware.

Though she was ill, the girl's attitude did little to win her any favor. Guess indeed... As she coughed and hacked, the two-toned beast merely stared down at her from his place near the entrance. She admitted that she felt like shit and the brow above his milky white eye rose, "Unfortunate," was the dry reply. "Has your mother been by to care for you?" Chimera hadn't seen Hela of late, but he also hadn't been looking for her either.
"I've brought food. Do you need anything else?" He could bring herbs from the healers, fresh water, furs, cushions. He wouldn't know what she needed unless she asked for it, however. As he waited for a response, Chimera looked around the room, noting how sparse the girl's belongings were. He was a little surprised that Hela hadn't taken it upon herself to supply the girl with more, but he made a mental note of what he would bring next time.

Belladonna wasn't in the mood to be sweet or kind or anything else, not that she ever really was to begin with. She felt like shit and she wasn't going to cover it up for anyone, even Chimera. When he wanted to know if her mother had been by, she had to hold back a laugh to prevent coughing more. "Hell no. As far as I know, she's not infected." She really couldn't blame her for staying away if she was healthy, but it still stung a bit.
Although her mood was foul, she did appreciate the food. The offer of anything else she needed didn't go unnoticed, but she didn't want to ask for too much even if she felt like she deserved at least something comfortable to lay on. "I'll take anything you have to give." She sighed, exhausted and holding back more coughing. "Thank you."

Belladonna assured Chimera that her mother hadn't checked on her. He would have to talk to Hela about caring for her kin. In the meantime... "When I return I'll bring you a few things." He motioned towards her with a pull of his crown. "And something for your cough." Despite what the outside world may have thought of Chimera, he cared for his own and he felt that he cared for them well.
"I'll see you soon," he promised. "In the meantime, howl if you're in need." He had so many sick wolves to look after, both his own wolves and his slaves. Chimera tried to make the rounds daily, but often his check ins were short like this one had been. With a nod to the fae, he turned and left, making a mental checklist of the items that he needed to procure for her.

Belladonna
The sickness deepens... You feel as if there's something in your ear that you need to get out. No matter how you scratch, the item won't budge. You scratch harder, eventually flinging the mushroom free. Unfortunately, your ear was damaged in the process, with an inch long notch being torn away from the edge.
Your blood now permanently glows.
You gain:
- Permanent Glowing Blood- Your blood now permanent glows a color of your choice.
- Ear Notch- An inch long tear has been torn from one of your ears.
