Hanging In There?
Albion, Scylla

Cerberus had tried to talk to Chimera about letting the three of them share a cell, but he was adamant about keeping them away from each other while they were delusional and dangerous to each other. Cerberus himself had been feeling better as of late, but was still recovering from the strange illness that overcame them.
He wasn't quite sure if he was delirious anymore or just stir crazy. He was reverting back to his old self, finding the quiet calming but what bothered him the most was the noises of the slaves and Viper from time to time. Sometimes his siblings too.
He laid down along the front of his cell, his nose poking out of the bars in the front while he relaxed into the floor. "Albion?" he questioned quietly, "Are you doing alright?" The three of them were lined up in cells next to each other with him in the middle but the stone walls in between them made it so they couldn't see each other. "Scylla?"

Albion had begged for a candle or a lantern, anything to keep the darkness away. Though he could hardly even see anything through the continual ooze from his eyes. His mouth and ears were the same, and he was only grateful it wasn’t seeping from his nose. He could breathe, but not much else. Eating was hard, talking was very close to impossible and his mother was doing everything in her power to keep him alive.
The boy was mostly motionless, laying with his head over the edge of his bed so everything would drain out and not down his throat or into his ears. He couldn’t see, he couldn’t hear, Albion was the saddest of puppies and it showed in his lethargy. He thought he heard his name, and he tried to swivel his ears to catch the voice, but it was just so muffled through the ooze. The boy whimpered in response. Pitiful and unmoving.

Breathing was difficult. Every breath brought bubbling trails of glowing, viscous fluid pouring from the girls nose and mouth. She had little strength to do much else other than focus on her breathing. Strange pustules and blisters had formed around the corners of her eyes and mouth and were similarly filled with the glowing fluid. Occasionally they would pop, but would soon be replaced by new blisters. The girls fur was a mess, no matter how much her mother worked to keep her cleaned and cared for.
A soft voice pulled the girl's dull eyes open just a hairsbreadth. Cerberus? In her hazy thoughts, Scylla had forgotten that her brothers were here as well. She had forgotten here, too. Her gaze moved around the cell. They had begged their father for light and he had given them a large bonfire on the beach in front of the cells. It still burned and crackled. When he came to visit several times a day, he always added more wood to the fire. The cells were lit with the golden flames, but those flames also made the shadows deeper and darker. As such, Scylla was pressed against the bars, as close to the light as she could get.
The whines from Albion shook away a bit of the cobwebs. There was something wrong with her brother. Scylla was sick, but she was still wily. The last time that Siren had exited the cell, the girl had begged for one last hug through the bars. During that hug, she had swiped the key to the metal doors then, in her sickened, delirious state, had promptly forgotten about it. One paw moved across the ground, searching for the key. Once she felt it, her digits closed around it and she painstakingly got to her paws so that she could unlock her cell. Once she could push the door open enough to get out, she moved to Cerb's cell next, trying to unlock his door with shaky paws.
Scylla should be seen as a very adult character who will indulge in acts that others may find graphic and uncomfortable. Steer clear if you don't like this sort of thing.

Albion's whine had made Cerberus quiet and while it wasn't the most pleasant replies he supposed it was better than nothing and showing just the slightest bit of hope that he was still alive. While Scylla was searching around for the key she had swiped which Cerberus was obviously unaware of, enough time had passed to where he had closed his eyes and drifted off into some other almost sleepy state.
His eyes flung open though as Scylla was at his door, jittering at the lock with a key. Still laying down, his head raised as he watched her. He almost wanted to tell her that unlocking his cell wasn't a good idea. Chimera wouldn't have liked it, they were separated for a reason. But his more responsible thoughts had been thrown over his shoulder as he stood and approached the cell door. As soon as Scylla was able to let him out in her near anemic state, Cerberus grabbed the key from her between his teeth and walked past her to Albion's cell. While Scylla had thumbs to help unlock the cell, she was certainly struggling to do his and he didn't even know how she escaped out of her own cell. He was able to get the key in the lock more steadily, but Scylla could help him turn it too.
Once Albion's cell was opened, Cerberus waited for Scylla to enter first before he went in too.

He had no understanding of what was going on around him. He took comfort in the light of the fire, but there wasn’t much else. Sometimes the presence of his mother or father was there, and he always felt close to his siblings as he could hear them. Struggling just as much as he was. He could hear his brother and sister but it was better they were talking to each other and not him. All he could really manage was the soft whine and his mind was out of it again.
His vision moved and dripped and glowed much like the ooze that fell from his face and eyes and ears. Albion was a terrible mess, and perhaps only his youthful strength was keeping him going. Attention was fleeting but he looked up when he heard the rattling against his own cage door, and he moaned pitifully as his siblings tried to break in.

Scylla could barely keep her eyes open as she turned the key in the lock. Once Cerberus came out of his cell, the girl collapsed against her much larger brother, smearing putrid green glow all over his russet coat, though it mixed with his own green ooze. Once she was able to get her bearings again, he pulled away and went to start unlocking Albion's cell. She moved forward to turn the key in the lock and presto, Albi's cell was open.
It never crossed the girl's mind that they could be a danger to one another. That was why their father was keeping them separated, after all. Without hesitation, Scylla moved into the cell and curled herself against her pale siblings belly. Rubbing her cheek against his shoulder, a few of the blisters on her face ruptured, spilling more green glow upon him. Sad, clouded eyes raised to Cerberus and she held out one paw, wanting her other brother beside her as well. "We'll be okay," she promised softly. "We'll be okay."

Steps behind Scylla as she entered, Cerberus' gaze moved around the cell that was not as different as his own. Scylla's paw reached out to him which led his better gaze and appearance on her curled into Albion. He didn't stand around any longer as he moved to lay the opposite side of Scylla as she had curled into Albion, head to tail almost making a nest for their tiny sister in the middle. His head moved forward to place his chin on Albion's hip as he made himself comfortable though he didn't have any comforting words as Scylla did. Just their presence alone was comforting, and while it wasn't on his mind if any of them had died they would have all been together.

Movement caused his cloudy glass eyes to flicker as Scylla entered the cell and curled herself around his bigger frame. He moved slightly, allowing her to curl into his stomach and use his shoulder for her pillow. It was hard to tell from the outside, with how pitiful and sad he was, but Albion was present deep within. The pup craved the feeling of his sister, they were never apart, and that was one reason his mind was able to cloud so easily.
Cerberus was a big part of his life as well, they were brothers and sometimes it felt like so much more than half siblings. Their older brother made himself comfortable on Albion’s beds as well, completing the protective nest around Scylla. She uttered soft words of encouragement, and helped Albion focus. He needed to keep going and get better for his sister. He whined again, and leaned into her. Albion needed Scylla, his response to her after being unresponsive was proof enough.

As Cerb came and lay with them, Scylla nestled between both of her brother's. Even in her muddled state of mind, they comforted her. Made her feel safe. The least she could do in return was try to comfort them back. "Mom and dad won't let anything happen to us. Just watch." One paw reached out to gently stroke Albi's pale fur. The other reached over, her dexterous digits sifting through the fur of Cerberus.
Scylla gave her head a shake. The shadows seemed to stretch out towards them with grasping fingers and the girl gave a soft whimper of fear and confusion. She buried her face into Albions fur, reminding herself again and again that they were going to be okay.

The world shifted and changed. Her brother's were gone, but the running luminescent ooze was not. Green slicked down Scylla's slate and blue coat as she stood before a table in the darkness of the world. The pups eyes narrowed as she stared brazenly at the cloaked figure. "Did you do this to us?" She was so young, so new. Fear wasn't strong in her mind yet and she the tiny child stepped towards the figure, a hard expression on her face. "Don't hurt my brother's, okay?"
Looking at the table of items, Scylla's paw swiped out and grabbed the bottle closest to her. "I'm taking this," she said, giving him a few crystals that she'd found so that they were even. "Don't hurt my brothers," she spoke again before backing away with the bottle of Growth Potion.

The cloaked figure turned his figure toward the young girl who approached, shaking his head slowly. "I am responsible for this as much as you are, young wolf. And I cannot promise they will remain forever unharmed... but for now my work here is done," he finished, gathering his items and disappearing, returning Scylla to the state she'd been in prior to his arrival, with her brothers nearby.
