Belladonna refused to let herself leave her den. Her body and mind screamed at her to go search for something, anything, rotten to eat. The mushrooms attached to her face were talking to her, she knew it. The ooze that drained from her everything was ignored mostly at this point, the mushrooms painful but she lived for the throbbing she felt. If it wasn't for the throbbing, she wouldn't know she was still alive and not just a vessel for these fungi to grow and spread. Not that it wasn't still possible. The girls dreams had been filled with visions of growing into the walls or floor of her den each time she slept, causing her little to no sleep at all. Instead, the girl paced stiffly from wall to wall in her den, forcibly dragging herself away from the door each time she neared close.

"Speech."

Wagon in tow, Chimera made his way towards the den of Hela's daughter. Since Belladonna had informed him that her mother wasn't helping to care for her, as one of his wolves, the duty fell to him. He'd filled one of the islands carts with odds and ends. Things to make the girl comfortable. No doubt she would be sitting prettier than her mother after his overhaul of her personal space. He didn't care if she complained about it either.

The Chimeric brute pushed into the woman's abode and saw her pacing back and forth across the wooden flooring. She looked a mess and Chimera wrinkled his nose slightly. "Go take a walk, Bella," the king ordered. Even if she just wanted to sit outside for a while, he needed her out of his way for this.

Ordering the girl to go and take a walk probably wasn't a good idea. That was exactly what she was trying to prevent herself from doing in the first place, but her mind didn't allow her to argue with him. It was the last little bit of control she had left and with Chimera's order, her legs forced her out of the den and into the darkness around her. Her expression was empty, but there was a longing in her eyes as she carried on and away from the den. Her nose pressed closed to the ground to hunt down what she craved, her lungs occasionally attempting to heavy the spores that filled them from their chambers.

Her search was short lived as the mushrooms she craved littered the island as if it was their native habitat. Hunkering down over them, she immediately began trying to stuff herself full of them. She didn't have to wander far from her den, but she'd certainly make a good dent in this patch of fungi before Chimera would be done with whatever task he came to her den with.

"Speech."

The girl didn't argue in the slightest as she was forced from her den. Once she was out, he began his work. The space was very bare, so it was easy to fill it with the necessary items for existence. The giant beast had collected a mattress from one of the resorts many rooms. He placed it in the corner of the room between two of the wooden slatted windows and proceeded to cover it with all manner of furs and cushions. After that, he hauled in a large basin where Bella could keep water on hand at all times. Besides that, he placed a big woven basket full of dried meats, various dried fruits and other bits that he thought she might appreciate.

The whole ordeal took him no time at all, so when he stepped out of the den and the woman was nowhere around, he went searching for her. Chi found her face down in a patch of mushroom, devouring the fungi as though she would die without them. A result of the illness, no doubt... "Once you're done..." he left it open ended before turning and moving back towards her cabana. She could take whatever time she wanted. The beast simply took up space on the wooden front porch while he waited.

Although it hadn't taken Chimera very long to settle her den and find her, Belladonna wasn't sure she was ready to leave the patch of mushrooms that called so strongly to her. She could hear his voice behind her, though at first she didn't move and continued to devour the fungi one after another. It took her a few moments to finally find the will power to break away from the patch and turn in the direction of Chimera. The hunger still called to her, but as she coughed and hacked some spores from her lungs, it gave her at least some what of a minute to get away.

She found him a moment later on her porch, waiting and so she approached but stopped some distance away. She vague remembered him mentioning bringing her things, comfortable things, to have while she recovered. Things her mother failed to provide her with here as well as in Ashen. She didn't know why she was surprised. Although these thoughts meant little to her now and all that filled the void between her ears now was the infection.

"Speech."

The black and white brute took the time to meticulously clean his paws as he waited. Chimera was many things, both negative and positive and one of the positives was that he liked to keep himself as clean as possible. So, whenever he had a moment to himself, he groomed. Aliana helped him bathe in the evenings, or sometimes Dalila or Siren. Always clean. So, seeing Belladonna not caring for herself... it was concerning. He hoped that it would pass in time and that the girl would heal somehow, but for now all he could do was be patient.

As she finally approached, he stared down at her. "In the basket there's something to help you sleep deeply. You might need it." She looked as though she hadn't slept since all of this had begun. Not many of them had and the infected even less. Three of his children were infected as well, so the dire man was very close to the situation. He could commiserate with the girl though he was not infected himself. "Go take a look," he instructed, intent on staying on the porch. "Tell me if you need anything else."
