Misery really had been working hard compared to the workloads he use to give himself. His version of work had been as much games in the past as he learned how to manipulate and act Sure, he’d done some patrols and some spars but to him, life was generally a game as was his profession. Now things had changed thanks to the sickness. In a pinch, the small wolf knew how to take matters seriously and support the pack.
At least this time he had thought of an assignment that would be for someone else to do. He made his way from the mountain top and down surrounded by the grass and trees. The place looked a lot different these days between crystals, mushrooms, and fireflies. The eternal night didn’t bother him since that was Misery’s normal preference. The glowing additions were unwanted things.
Looking about the area and scenting the wind he decided not to bother finding the slave he was looking for. Misery howled to let the slave know to come to him. Misery’s message was simple and clear, she needed to come to him he had an assignment for her.
"Misery"

She was fascinated by the things that had been happening. She often spent her time looking at the glowing crystals and mushrooms, chasing around the fireflies, but when she heard someone calling for her, she stopped and listened. She didn't recognize the voice at all. She hardly knew the wolves she lived with, especially considering they practically ignored her existence. At least, until tonight. She almost had a mind to completely ignore them and act like she hadn't heard, but curiosity would get the better of her, and Medusa huffed and moved to answer the call. Though her instinct to continue playing was strong, she figured she could play later in peace. Though she wondered what was wanted of her.
Spotting the skunk boy, she looked at him with guarded curiosity. This was the boy that was always mean to her, or at least...said mean things about her that often hurt her feelings. "Skunk-wolf called Medusa?" She didn't know his name. Didn't care to know his name. He wasn't a friend. She knew that already.
