Sleep was getting the better of her tonight. Even as a cool sea breeze shifted through the castle, she felt restless. Her legs quivered in anticipation for something she wasn't even doing. Moving was the only solution and as she slipped from her rooms where Avantika slept soundly, Audra left the castle walls in silence. Carrying her petite body through the grounds and out toward the plains, her gaze shifted upward. Not a cloud could be seen in the sky tonight. Littered above were twinkling lights dancing around. Though not like before during the sickness. It was a dazzling sight that made her breath catch in her throat. Sticking along the edges of the plains where the pack's scent lingered from safety to loner roaming, Audra thought perhaps she might run into someone. Grass tickled at her belly as she carried on in her own quiet. Humming softly, she continued to gaze up to the stars above her. Patrolling hadn't been one of her assigned tasks since the Hallows already had plenty of scouts, but she couldn't travel along the border. Her own scent became intertwined with theirs as she kept an eye out for any loners that may be trying to pass over the borders. SPEECH

Kione was more of a daytime fellow than night and generally would be sleeping at this time.  It was a busy day though and he’d fallen asleep early.  It wasn’t time to wake up, not in his mind but, his body was rested and more sleep wasn’t going to happen.  He was on a land that was owned by a bunch of wolves that were giving him a guest pass.  Wouldn’t it make sense to make use of this moment and explore the land a little?

Kione had trotted out a ways, checking out the scenery.  The wind brought in scents of animals he had never seen but promised fun.  He’d have to travel later in the direction the wind blew to see what these animals were.  For now, he continued farther into the plains, noticing lots of rabbits at least, a few seen and even more smelled.

After a bit, he was getting near the border and thought of turning around.  His ears picked up the soft sounds of someone else in the grass.  It was quiet but still audible and he moved forward until he spotted one of the wolves looking up at the stars.  One who normally was out at night or just a happenstance thing for this one time?  With nothing better to do and ready to use this time to meet others he headed over, “’ello luv,” the large-eared, color-splashed wild dog greeted the wolf.  “Pleasant evening ain’t it?”

Lost in thought as she gazed up at the stars, she almost didn't see the speckled dog approach. The rustle of grass as he moved quietly toward her made her chin turn in pleasant surprise. Night was not her typical time of day but the nightmares that haunted her kept her awake. As he came closer, she felt a feeling of relief wash over her for some company. Anything to help distract her from the torment within her mind. "E-evening," she responds with an incline of her head in greeting. "I-it is quite pleasant," Audra comments as her lips pull up into a friendly smile. "Care to join me on a nightly walk?" The petite wolf doesn't wait for an answer as she continues to lazily walk along the border of Hallows land. Glancing over her shoulder, she tosses her head gently as if to urge him to follow.
