The night sky twinkled above her as the moon shone down just enough light that she was able to comfortably walk without fear of tripping over an unseen object. She had travelled for a large portion of the day, and this forest seemed like a good place to sleep with its think growth of trees, even if it was a little bright. She was enraptured by the glowy nature to everything around her, the bioluminescent glow giving off a magical vibe to the mangrove. Inoki stood out a bit like a sore thumb, her inky black coat absorbing all the light given off by the plants, and she decided to try and look for a more hidden place to curl up where she would be undisturbed in order to get a good night's rest. she had much more travelling to do, but this was a nice a place as any to stay the night. Her keen gaze searched through the undergrowth, looking for a suitable spot that wasn't damp from all the water ways. Even an old fox den would do, and she was certainly small enough to squeeze her way into one without too much trouble.

The foreign lands she’d entered continued to stun her, showing her environments never before seen to her sunlit gaze. The area she’d entered seemed to be like a marsh, but under the cover of darkness it was much more beautiful. Every area seemed to light up in a brilliant glow, illuminating her way as she leapt over the salt water channels and side stepped the large mangrove trees. It was like a game of hot lava, except the lava was the water and the safety was the land almost just beyond her short legs’ reach. The woman came to a particularly wide embankment, her eyes narrowing at the challenge it presented. She took a few steps back, wriggled her green and cream toned tuckus, then took a running leap.

But she fell a little short. And by little, it was a lot.

Her paws sank into the water, leaving her chest deep and sputtering. Her mink, Bijou, squeaked in protest as she’d been on her shoulders and was now also quite wet from the splashes. Théa rolled her eyes and grinned, shaking and causing the little creature to roll from her shoulders. Then, she splashed at Minou, her lynx, who jumped back with a hiss. “All is fair, mon cher,” she uttered in french, her gaze twinkling in amusement as she went to pull herself from the tide.

It was when she heard a strange sound, similar to two sharp rocks being battered together, and then a deep splash that Inoki paused her search, head raising up and ears flicking forward, not all too disimilar from a meerkat at its lookout post. She then heard squeaking, splashing, and a female voice speaking words that she couldn't understand. Immediately curious, and not at all afraid of what may lay ahead, she followed the sounds, swiftly emerging onto quite a strange scene. There stood a wolf, chest-deep in the water, as well as a large cat and a small weasel type of creature. Well that explained the splashing and the squeaking. Her maw opened in an 'o' shape, but the corners of her lips were upturned in a smile. The female seemed around her size, thought it was hard to tell as she was half covered in water, but Inoki could definitely see the curves of her body, and she was intrigued by the green colouring on the other's back. The female seemed to be having fun, even if her companions were less than happy. "Got room for one more?" she asked, now with a grin on her face and a somewhat devious twinkle in her teal blue eyes. It seemed the female was attempting to get out of the water, but maybe it would be fun for the two of them to splash around for a bit, if the woman was receptive to that idea.

As Théa moved to pull herself out of the stream, a voice calling out to her from behind. The green toned woman turned her head to look over her shoulder, her lower half still submerged in the gurgling water. She was met with the form of a small woman, only a few inches taller than her and cloaked in a pelt of pure ebony, other than the dashes of dark grey along parts of her body. Her eyes were just as striking as Théa’s, though instead of sunspot gold, they were a vibrant teal. She grinned at her asking if there was room for one more, a slight wag of her tail causing ripples in the water. The small Dubois turned, wading back into the surf and, with a push of her paws, she splashed at the other. “Zer is always room for anozer,” she replied, a mirthful look in her eyes.

To her delight, the other woman seemed more than happy to submerge herself back into the water, and threw an invitation her way in the form of a splash to join in. "Perfect,"  Inoki said with a soft croon, and with not even a moment of hesitation she stepped forward, gently dipping herself into the water, and waded closer to the middle of the stream. The water was a bit chilly, but once she adjusted it wasn't too bad, and with a devious twinkle in her eyes she used her muzzle to scoop some water in the direction of the other woman, hoping to get a good splash against her chest. She grinned widely, tail moving back and forth along the surface of the water as she began to wade around the other woman in a circle, dipping her muzzle into the water so only the top part of it and her nose were floating, almost like a shark stalking its prey. Inoki waded closer to give a very gentle nibble at the fur of the other woman's left hip, before springing backwards with a big splash and settling in a slight crouch a short distance away as she watched with keen eyes that crinkled as she smiled, even though her face was half hidden beneath the water. She was inviting the woman to play with her, and wouldn't mind if her companions decided to join in either.
