Avantika hit into Pyralis, though not exactly where she wanted to. It was a decent hit, but she didn't expect the woman to give up without fighting back, and she wasn't surprised. Pyralis's bite landed just where it meant to, and Avantika yelped despite herself, high-pitched and far louder than she could bear. It was a shameful moment. She didn't want this dangerous intruder to see any sort of pain in her. Avantika was strong. Right?
Ripping herself away from her opponent's jaws caused a lot of pain and some blood, but it was a fast motion and Avantika couldn't let herself stagnate. She moved back a pace or two, and then would lunge forward to attempt to bite the left side of Pyralis's neck where it connected to her shoulder. She'd sink her teeth in for only a moment before backpedaling again.

As wolf after wolf whizzed towards him Sunder lit up each time. And, as wolf after wolf whipped passed him, he drooped ever so slightly. Each time he told himself it would be the next. And then just when he thought the Hallows would run out of defenders, he locked eyes with a yearling girl. Instantly he knew she was his. He dropped into a play bow while she was still some distance away. It wasn't until it was crystal clear that she was headed for him that he jumped back to his feet with a excited whoop. He dipped to his right just in time and was spared the worst of her shoulder throw as it glanced off his left shoulder. Sunder dropped into a crouch suddenly and sought to hook his neck around behind Lilith's left elbow in order to sweep it forward, ultimately unbalancing her. In tandem with this move he tried to reach under her and bite the inside of her right elbow in order to drag it towards him. Sparrows teeth barely scathed flesh, but her movement had warded off the initial attack by the woman. As she pushed against her opponent's paws, the woman kicked off, her thicker wolf claws leaving less damage than Sparrow's own sharpened cat claws, but still scratching through the flesh and drawing some blood.
The woman went in, shouldering Sparrow's stomach on her left side, the thorns digging into her side- no pun intended. The woman also latched onto Sparrow's back left leg, and Sparrow moved to knee her in her teeth- a move that could harm them both. Simultaneously, Sparrow went to latch onto her opponent's left back leg, where the base of her tail met her hip. Though there was a good amount of fur, there were also a lot of sensitive bits there that hopefully, if the woman had the self preservation, would cause her to rethink her compromising position.

I'm Trying to Find A Signal Fire
Pyralis struck forcefully, her fangs sinking into Avantika's side where she'd intended, eliciting a pained yelp from the younger woman. She was only able to savor her opponents blood for a moment before Avantika ripped away from and the pirate lost her grip. Her teeth clacked together as she whipped around to face her opponent once more. Pyralis kept her defenses set as the young woman dove for her once more. Pyralis sprang forward to meet her, seeking to come in low. She was so focused on her attack she delivered herself right into the other woman's jaws. She felt fangs seize the top of her neck, just in front of her shoulder blades but by then her head had launched forward seeking to tear a lacerating blow to the inside of Avantika's left foreleg, halfway between the elbow and chest.

Úlfr's fangs snagged Ulric's upper arm successfully, cutting the flesh as he'd hoped. As he hadn't been planning to get a hold he kicked forward for the next target. Still seeking to continue his track along Ulric's right side. However, he mistook his opponents speed. While Ulric was much heavier he was still fast and his fangs sliced through the flesh of Úlfr's right cheek, leaving moderate lacerations and stinging pain. Eager to match the larger male blow for blow Úlfr attempted another drive by strike seeking to continue moving forward and biting at the outside of Ulric's right thigh, again seeking to lacerate the muscles there.
With his racing forward he unwittingly managed to move his rear out of the way of Arlise's snapping jaws though he felt a sting on his right butt cheek from her fangs.

She couldn’t focus on the fights going on around her, not her pack mates and not her father’s. She was serious about what was going on, but when she saw her opponent lower himself into a play bow she knew she’d picked the right pirate. She smiled, both showing her enthusiasm and her pearly grin.
He wasn’t an inexperienced pup. He seemed to garner as much excitement about the fight as she might have had she not been interrupted. She had been enjoying a nice quiet night, but maybe a little adrenaline was what she needed. Her opponent shifted out of the way and avoided her attack.
The dog was swift, and he took the low road, aiming to trip her up. Lilith went with his actions, looking to pivot herself so her chest was above his shoulders and she was straddling his crouched form. She made it, but he still managed to trip her up so she was falling when she aimed her jaws around his neck. If anything she could hold him down and make him say uncle.

Artorias heard Serenity's warning call from deep within his sleep, fiery amber eyes flying open in a heartbeat. A night alarm was never a false call, nor was it a training exercise. The Hallows was under attack. Like a bolt of lightning, Artorias hurled himself from his bed and dashed across the room to snatch his armor off of its stand, slipping it on and fastening it shut before reaching for Embershard on reflex—and pausing when it wasn't there. Ah... that was right. Disheartened, but not deterred, Artorias snarled his frustration and threw the door to his chambers open, paws thundering down the hall as he ran for the stairs. "Get up! Get up!" he shouted as he ran past bedrooms of sleeping wolves. "We're under attack! All Vanguards and Knights to the courtyard!" As he passed the last room in the hall, he could already hear doors slamming open as wolf after wolf came sprinting out to follow him down the grand staircase and into battle.
The moment his paws hit the foyer floor, the Aegis turned to Ulric with grim severity on his face. "Ulric, lead the Vanguard into the fight. I have to grab a weapon and I'll be right there. Do not let them inside the castle!" The last sentence he shouted from over his shoulder as he was already running down the corridor towards the armory. All the while, Artorias cursed himself for losing his sword so recklessly. It had left him ill-prepared for an attack on his pack! He wasn't picky when he stormed into the quiet armory, selecting the first sword he could find and running back for the door. He had to get in the fight, lead his pack and support his family. As the alpha brute came marching out the front doors into the courtyard, he made a solemn vow. No enemy had ever set foot in his family's home. That would not be changing tonight.
The night was dark, but the moonlight as well as the braziers they kept lit on the gatehouse helped provide illumination enough to see the fray. Artorias saw Serenity already beating the stuffing out of a bright violet wolf, who was fleeing with his tail between his legs. The wolf his mother had engaged with was one that made the young alpha furious to recognize. Sparrow, the wolf that had been poking around his borders, whom he had offered aid to. Treacherous bitch. He'd make sure she regretted this stupid decision and paid for it dearly. Tamsyn had just subdued Sparrow and Tika had taken down another, half of the pirates now out of the fight. Steely amber eyes moved across the battlefield, watching his wolves as they worked. That was when he spotted the blue and gold wolf sitting off to the side, barely upright as he swayed and panted, a ridiculous looking hat lopsided atop his crown.
Artorias heaved a disappointed sigh. This was a joke of an attack. Poorly coordinated, poorly prepared, and just an insult to the Hallows. Had Sparrow thought this through or did she simply not care about her wolves? Well, her recklessness would be her penance. Artorias approached the wolf, already smelling the alcohol exuding from him, and drove his sword into the ground. He leaned his larger form across the crossguard and looked the wolf over, a strange sort of pity inside for the wretch. "You don't look so good, friend," he spoke in rumbling baritone to the wolf, gesturing with his head to the rest of the failed raid. "I'm going to give you a choice: surrender and I won't have to hurt you. Try to flee if you want, but I doubt you'll get far if you can't even sit up right." The choice belonged to the pirate. Would he flee, would he surrender, or would he try to fight in his state? Either way, Artorias knew what message he wanted to send to Sparrow. And a hostage sent a hell of a message.

Rudyard hadn’t been asleep all that long with the night hours he kept. His body was pressed up against Fern’s, contentment radiating through him. Nightmares that had been plagued him were becoming rarer next to her. Somehow everything that had seemed so terrible was being replaced by an outlook of all the things that seemed so good.
Rudy jerked away as the howl went to warn of the raid. Contentment was snatched from him to be replaced with a wave of burning anger. He wanted to run straight out but instead went to where his armor was kept, “Savage, wake up.” The little Tasmanian devil had been curled up in his basket asleep whereas Reddy was outside on the balcony watching with his keen eyes.
“A raid Fern, stay safe!” Someday Fern could help fight but this wasn’t playing or training this was true enemies that deserved whatever damage came to them. Rudy got his armor on fast. One of his bracers had been reshaped so it was always on his foot, replacing the two missing toes for his balance. The other bracer was slipped on along with his caimen armor.
Savage got on Rudyard’s back and they ran through the castle, barreling out onto the scene. Rudyard watched from the gait for a few moments, making sure it was safe and checking to see where he was needed. There weren’t too many enemies out there and it looked like a few had already felt the wrath of the hallow wolves. Rudy wanted to fight, that burning anger was growing into outright rage.
Too much had happened lately and all Rudyards bottled up hate mingled with this new hate. Reddy, his hawk called out to him from where it flew above the battle. Rudy looked from the hawk and then down to where some pale wolf had just gotten the best of Ulric. Rudy let out a deep snarl from his chest and charged into the fray. All the wrath he’d built up over the season would be poured out onto this wolf.
Rudyard was admittedly to fighting with wolfs large than him and this one was actually of even size. Rudyard picked up speed as he went for it, barreling his body into that of the other wolf’s. The guy had a helmet that seemed to protect both the head and part of the neck. He had it for now at least. Rudyard aimed to set him off balance in their collision, attempting to sink his fangs into the shoulder.
Savage, the little Tasmanian devil, attempted to hop from Rudyard’s back and onto Ulfr’s. What made savage good help was dealing with armor. There was no way he could pull off a helmet, but it could try to get under the coif to bite for the neck. From the skies, Reddy kept an eye over the entire battlefield.

Sunder did his best to hang onto his opponent's elbow as she shifted around. He wasn't done with it yet. At least he hoped not, anyway. As he felt her weight fall onto his shoulders the little dog thought fast. Since he was holding the foreleg furthest away from him (even if it wasn't much) perhaps he could still tip her away from him if he played his cards right. Sunder jerked backwards a step and dipped down into a play bow again. His reasoning was that the incline created by his back and aided by his grip on her opposing leg would roll her off of him and onto the ground. In theory it sounded pretty slick, but whether or not that's really what happened was another matter entirely. He felt teeth sink into his neck and had to fight the urge to yelp. Man, he really needed armor! The little dog pressed on. He wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet but boy was it tempting to drop what he was doing and put some distance between himself and his opponent. At least to regroup or something! Hopefully there was a payoff at the end of this bite for him... I'm Trying to Find A Signal Fire
Pyralis stumbled back from Avantika with a croaking laugh. "Ok, ok, I give! You win. Dayum, you can put your tongue on me any time." She limped to the side of the battlefield and flopped down to watch how the others did. Her right paw patted the ground as she tried to remember where she'd put her wine bottle. Oh right, she drank that before entering Hallows territory. Well, shit. At least she wasn't the only one to lose. She noticed Sparrow had lost her fight and patted the ground next to her to encourage the younger pirate to sit next to her. Assuming Sparrow was still conscious. Why was the world spinning? Ahhhhh yes, the wine.
The supposed alpha finally appeared, awfully late to the party. She watched him go after Artisan with amusement. "Don't worry Art. If you lose to blue balls I'll be back to get you." She had no problem walking solo into a packs territory whenever she damn well pleased. Her escapade into the Armada had been proof of that. She'd let them keep Art though for the alphas blue balls though. How fun would those be hanging from her den entrance? Pyralis swayed, the liquor and blood loss starting to take their toll. Maybe she should go nap somewhere. They could come get her when the fight was over.

Úlfr conquered his opponent in time to see both Sparrow and Pyralis lose their matches. In a serious fight it might be a concern but in his mind victory was hardly the goal of the pirates invasion. He'd bested one Hallows wolf and had the knowledge he needed from the encounter. He trudged up the castle steps, pausing when he heard something ahead. Thankfully, it did not take long for him to catch the attention of another opponent. Good, good. The gods were smiling on him this day that they would so swiftly grant him another battle. He set his defenses, letting the man come to him. As the other neared he sprang to his left, the other man's fangs just clipping the top of his right shoulder. He ducked down low, jaw flung wide as he attempted to bite Rudyard's right thigh, in the crevice where it met the other man's side, seeking to shred the tendons connecting the leg to the body. His sudden bounding forward caused the little devil to miss landing on his back, instead its claws scraped the top of his hips before it fell off him.
His ravens were swift to spring into action. One dove for the tasmanian devil, seeking to grab and pull one of its ears. The other raven swooped toward Rudyard, soaring parallel with the earth before its talons launched forward for Rudyard's left eye.

Someone had been stupid enough to bring war to their door and for that, they would pay. Already the fighters were out, decimating the opposition and Eska expected no less. What she hadn't expected was for Ulric to lose, but things happened sometimes and everyone had to carry on. As the fighters progressed, the brindled woman and her companions guarded the gate. There was no way in hell that the invaders would push past her or the two dogs at her side. If necessary, she would rip them to shreds. This was their home and it would be protected.
The brute that bested her mate moved towards the castle gates as though he would enter the place but there was no chance. There was a single entrance and she was standing smack dab in the middle of it. So, when he came, Rudyard intercepted him. Ah... but that wasn't enough now, was it? Even now Ulric lay bested, possibly injured. The silver and obsidian woman just couldn't let that go. Vengeance was needed and a point would be proven to these trespassing dogs. They needed a lesson and a lesson they would receive.
The two brutes slammed into one another, their companions battling as well. With a nod from Eska, both Avaset and Baz launched into the fray. The big dogs threw their bodies into the pile to beat away the birds and their talons. With thicker coats, they would be able to bear the brunt of the talons with more ease. With that bit of it being handled, the armored fae lowered her head, planted her paws and darted into the thick of it. Jaws open wide, she sought to sink her teeth into the side of the big brute's face, pushing her weight against his own to hopefully trip him up between herself and Rudyard.

The call went out for the attack on the Hallows, and Romulus and Lillith had been lying out on their balcony watching the stars. In a scuttle of limbs, the two untangled themselves and raced to enter the fray, Roman pausing long enough to grab on his jaguar skin cloak and hidden blade before giving a whistle to his companions, the hawk swooping from his perch high in the rafters and the wolverine racing alongside him down the stairs. Lillith had been quicker than him, and by the time he reached the main doors, the fighting had already begun and mostly ended. He spotted his girlfriend taking down some sort of hairless looking rat thing while the rest of the Hallows wolves positively dominated the invaders—all except one wolf who was trying to make his way to the doors. He was intercepted by Rudyard and Eska, their companions all scuffling as the bodies pushed and shoved one another for dominance.
Romulus whistled again and motioned with a tip of his muzzle towards the two ravens in the air. His hawk screeched in acknowledgement and shot like a bullet towards the raven heading for Rudyard, aiming to intercept the other avian before it could make contact and knock it away. "Come on!" he said to his wolverine and sprinted forward with a snarl. Knowing better than to just throw himself straight into the chaos, Roman circled the scrapping wolves to make his way behind the invader. Then he sprung, charging at the smaller wolf with jaws parted and fangs aimed to latch onto his left thigh, seeking to throw him off balance so Rudy and Eska could push forward and try to topple him over. If they got him on the ground, it could be game over in an instant.

At first, it seemed Savage the devil would be in a serious fight with a raven, certainly, it was brave enough to fight any number of them. That was quickly proved to be unneeded however when the pack up in front of both dog and hawk came to his rescue. The devil had done his part of the attack and on the ground was far less useful so it worked on simply escaping.
Rudyard saw the wolf's attack coming and leaped sideways so that all he ended up with was a bit less fur around the leg, proof of how close Ulfr’s bite had been to landing its target. Suddenly it wasn’t just Rudy's fight as Eska came in for Ulfr’s face and Romulus was going for the left thigh.
Rudyard Hopped up with his front feet, attempting to get them on Ulfr’s shoulder and back area, attempting to get coif and neck in his jaws. Rudy wasn’t sure how strong the coif was but while drawing blood sounded the most fun, he was mostly trying to get a good grip and push to help Rom try and knock him to the ground.

Rudyard slipped to the side and Úlfr went after him, swiftly planting his front legs and pivoting his hind end behind him. He heard a loud croak from Galinn and knew that two more wolves were headed for him. If anything it gave him a thrill. This was a real battle. None of the quaint one on one matches but the violent chaos of the battles his mothers had told him about. The battles that tested one's strength and grit. He would not simply roll over now that the odds were stacked against him. He would not be found lacking. If the Hallows wished to throw multiple wolves at him then he would receive them as a gift and wear the scars and cloak of pain as a badge of highest honor.
His focus would remain on his initial opponent. He ducked and dove in low the moment he saw Rudyard start to lift his front legs, seeking to dive under the other wolf, jaws flung open and seeking to dig into the other boys belly, just back from the sternum. He felt Rudyard's weight fall upon his shoulders, fangs digging into his back rather than his neck. Due to his pivot Romulus' fangs would graze his right thigh rather than strike the other's initial target. The same motion took his face well out of the way of Eska's attack but left him a sitting duck for her fangs instead embedded themselves in his left thigh. He took the pain, allowing the experience of it to wash over him. He could endure this. He would pass through this and win or lose he knew he had proven his worth in battle.

The flurry of bodies made it difficult to discern just what was going on. Eska would have preferred one on one, but... this was war. She wouldn't deny the others the chance to protect their home any more than they would deny her the right in turn. This would all work out because there was no way in hell that one wolf could, or would, take them all.
With such movement, the bite to the wolf's face failed. However, the silvered woman would taste the blood of her enemy. With teeth embedded in the thigh of the invader, Eska had everything that she needed. Latching her jaws tight, the bulky fae pulled her weight backwards in an attempt to jerk the leg out from beneath her opponent. Though he had infiltrated their home, she had no wish to do lasting damage and only sought to bring him to his knees. The woman's tail curled above her spine in a show of dominance and her claws dug into earth, locking in her stance so that she could pull, twist, bring pain and eventually defeat.
