He rolled his shoulders, ready to take on as many challenges as he could today. His skills were rusty, and he was intent on oiling his gears. After having been hidden away in the safety of a cavern while he waited out the weird events over the winter and beginning of spring, he was ready to face the world. Green gaze scanned the horizon for a moment, ears flicking at the sound of other fights and disputes going on in the area. The snarling and growling and smell of blood served to fuel him, and so he threw his head back and called for a challenger of his own.

Okay, so maybe her dad didn't have this particular kind of opponent in mind, but what better way to sharpen her skills than by ferociously attacking a whole adult? She'd pranced around the edge of the blood-soaked fields, trying to pick out someone who wasn't already engaged in fighting someone else. Everyone seemed to be awfully busy trying to rip each other to shreds and all. When she sparred with her siblings, she couldn't help but hold back a teeny tiny bit, even though she knew the others didn't hold back at all. She just loved them so much!

Aha! There was an opponent."YAHOOO!" she shouted as a battle cry, scampering out from the underbrush to throw herself at Gadreel. Finally, a challenge she could sink her pointy little puppy teeth into! Makara's jaws gaped wide as she galloped towards him, trying to get a hold of his left front leg.
