Stealing the Show
Inoki <3
Terrible, beautiful, wild light had taken Jack on. She wasn’t about to let it fade. She wasn’t about to let anything hold her back. This was a woman on a mission, and that mission was to see, feel, and do everything this world had to offer. Wherever that took her on the way? Well, that was part of the fun. Fun was the only thing that would drive Jack. Anything else? Not worth it. Not worth it in the slightest. A certain wildness took over her steps as she crossed the imaginary boundary. Before her spreads the most bizarre thing she’s seen yet. ”Hot damn,” the woman cursed to herself. In the light of late afternoon (early evening? Time is such a fickle concept), she could see the lush grounds spread on for what seemed like ages. More flowers than Jack had ever seen spread out before her. It was pretty... all she needed now was something pretty to share it with. Her stride was easy as she jogged through the gulley, tail wagging lazily at her haunches. Just another day exploring paradise, and Jack was grateful for that. |
Inoki had found herself back in the richly lush valley, only almost on accident. She had wanted to search for some pretty flowers to gather, and maybe try her paw at joining them together to make something special for herself, or perhaps another if they were open to receiving a gift. But very quickly she ended up on her back, gleefully wiggling around like a young pup, smearing pollen and flowers all over her dark fur, creating a stark contrast.
What was once a pristine coat of inky blackness, was now covered in streaks of yellow, and hints of red and purple from the brightly coloured flowers. A joyful bark of laughter sprung forth from her maw as she rolled over, flopping onto her stomach, legs splayed out beneath her. There was pollen floating all around her now, and what started as just a tickle in the back of her nose quickly turned into a loud sneeze that blew the pollen out in almost a wave in the air. Inoki snorted to herself, another giggle bubbling forth as she looked around happily at the mess she had created. |
A relaxed, rolling gait brought the woman across the ground. How beautiful could the whole thing be? Jack was coming to realize, quite comfortably, that it could be incredibly beautiful. Comfort and a bold, brassy step brought her across the lush lands. Absolutely brilliant in the fading light of the afternoon, the charmer was pleased with herself. She was pleased with everything, and the world around. Relaxation came easily on afternoons like this, and Jack was happy to explore. A giggle brought Jack back into her own head. Yes, there was someone else out here, and they were giggling. This brought an excitement to Jack as well, and she took off in the direction of the sound. The pollen found her before she found the giggling individual-- "Oh fu--" Jack's words cut off by a great big sneeze. It echoed, and she sniffled loudly. "Goddamn," the girl chuckled, a brassy sound that rang from her chest. Her head swung, finally catching sight of the dark girl that lay in the grass. A rakish grin played on Jack's lips, tail wagging. "Can't tell which is prettier, you or these," she gestured broadly to the flowers before dropping her chest just a bit. It was a playful posture, and Jack was happy. |
It was almost as if the sneeze had echoed around in her head, rattling her senses, and it took her a few moments to realise someone else had spoken. Her head tipped back to look up at the larger wolf, tail thumping on the ground behind her which sent up more clouds of pollen. She batted her eyelashes up at the woman, giving her a sultry smile as she crooned softly in response. Flattery would get any wolf far where she was concerned, especially if they knew what they were doing. The playful certainly didn't go unnoticed either, and she gathered her limbs beneath her in a more controlled manner, stretching her front legs out ahead of her.
"Why don't you come closer and find out?" It had been a while since she had flirted so openly with another wolf, and it felt exhilarating. Inoki then used a paw to slice at the stem of one of the bright red flowers that she hadn't managed to squish, and grabbed it in her mouth to lift it up and show it to the other woman, as if challenging her to decide if she or the flower was more beautiful. |
Her head tossed. She grinned the grin that it felt like she'd patented all on her own. It danced, and she danced too. Jack could feel all sorts of wonderful, horrible, beautiful things running hot through her system. A hot blooded mammal... or something like that. Jack wouldn't concern herself too much with the semantics. The girl strode easily across the plush grasses and the ferns as they crushed beneath her paws. Ah, how wonderful. Come closer and find out... "Don't mind if I do." A grin, with something a bit more interesting coursing beneath it. Relaxed and confident, the girl moved to close the gap between herself and the much smaller little wolf. Jack's distance went from strangers to intimate, zero to one hundred real fast. A bright red flower... a pretty, shadowy girl. The blonde woman tutted to herself for a moment, making a slow circle around the her. "Hmm," it was deep, maybe deeper than a moment before. "Let's see now," her gaze flickered to find a bit of whichever plant hadn't been squished in the girl's joyful rolling. "I think you win, prettiest of them all." The words came with a wink and a rumbling, brassy chuckle. "You wanna come sit with me a while, and I can make you a crown?" With confidence, Jack stepped through the tall grasses, gaze flickering to one of the large, stooped trees. That looked like a good place to settle in, maybe make a flower crown for a cute girl, and hang out for the night... right? |
Inoki watched with a grin as the larger woman moved closer, closing the space between them until barely any remained and moving around in a circle. She kept the larger woman in her sight, turning her neck when needed, and swiftly whipping her head around the other way as the woman circled behind her to her other side. Her tail tapped lightly on the ground in anticipation, snuffling softly around the flower stem in her maw as the woman took her time to decide. She could see the woman's light blue gaze flicking between her own dark form and the red flower, before finally she spoke, coming to a decision.
She giggled, batting her eyelashes again. Of course she was prettier than the flower, it was just nice to hear it spoken aloud from someone else who was just as charming and beautiful. "A wise choice," she said with another soft croon, still holding the flower delicately in her mouth. The rumbling chuckle from the other woman sent a shiver down her spine, one of delight and playfulness, and maybe a hint of something more.
Inoki pretended to think over the offer for a moment. "Well... I do like crowns, and it would be nice to curl up next to another warm, soft body," she said as she slowly got up to all fours, following closely behind the other woman towards the large tree. There were more flowers nearby, ones of all colours, and not crushed by her playful antics, which would be perfect to make a flower crown out of. She settled down at the base of the tree, pushing her back up against the gnarled trunk as she lifted her muzzle up towards the other woman to offer her the flower she was still holding onto. "Here, start with this one." |
A wise choice, truly. Jack would take it upon herself to charm the girl that stood before her, and really, whoever else she could. Life was a game, and all the pretty things it had to offer, her prize. A rakish grin played on her features, relaxed, wonderful. She offered a wink to the dark woman, eyes glimmering. Jack burned with mischief, and something even more brilliant. Brilliant, bright, and ever so wonderful. Really, she couldn't be controlled. Couldn't be stopped. Couldn't be tamed, not by anyone or anything. As the stranger climbed to her feet, it struck Jack just how petite she really was. The antihero could probably even pick her up if she wanted... that was a thought. "A wise choice," Jack winked, echoing the girl's words from earlier. Her jog in the direction of the tree was slow, lazy, showing off every ounce of confidence that she could. It felt good. It felt more than good. It felt fucking brilliant to be as she was in moments like these. She settled against the tree while Jack moved in a wide, slow circle around it. She was pulling colorful flowers, reds and yellows and whites, along with some sturdier stems. In another life (one that seemed miles and years away), she'd passed the afternoons with her sisters making flower crowns, and she'd spent time terrorizing them with bugs. Still, she knew that there was use for the sturdy stems, even those that lacked blooms of their own. Right, pick up just enough of these things to charm pretty girls later on. Returning to her shadowy companion with a bouquet, Jack flashed a grin. "Beautiful," her companion, the flower, maybe both. It was cheesy sure, but she wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to lay it on thick. Easily, she settled beside the girl, in the comfort of the three. With practiced movements, the anti-hero began to weave together the stems of each flower, beginning to form a thick rope of greenery. "What a shame it is to cuddle up with a cute girl and not even know her name," she quipped. |
