These are adopts for some Trygg family siblings and cousins! I play Víðarr and Sanngriðr, if you’d like an idea of their personalities and overall aesthetic. Víðarr will eventually be looking to build a band (or maybe even a pack??) in the future.
The expectations:
- Activity. Nothing superhuman, but don’t adopt and then ditch. I won’t take them back, but I’ll be sad if I see them go inactive straight away, or die shortly after adoption.
- Skill building. I plan on grinding skills with mine and it would be cool if whoever picks up these adopts wants to do that together.
- That’s really all, I’m just excited to see these in play <3
They’re all from a northern continent that’s pretty far away from Boreas. They’ve been on the run for about a year now, Sanngriðr masterminding an escape. She framed it as an adventure, not wanting to let those most dear to her know what they were really trying to get away from. After putting space between themselves and the world they were leaving behind, they chose a new family name– Trygg. Faithful. Family is what you make it, and it’s loyalty to this found family above all.
Culture:
- Chief values: courage, discipline, industriousness
- Religion: norse paganism, though how much or how little your character practices/believes is up to you
- Family is more than blood, and family comes first
- Overall this lot is very morally grey
- Mostly medium+ in height and build
- Trend towards darker base colors
- Otherwise, this is really quite open
- Víðarr’s littermates (2 slots) both taken
- Cousins (3 2 slots, probably)

Name: Róta
Relation: Sister (could be sold on making her a cousin)
(image to come)
Appearance: An earthen coated girl with lighter rust and red tones on top, who looks like she has been wading through mud. Darker browns cover her underside and up over her hips, although they never quite fade to the black base of her siblings. The end of her tail is painted in the same fiery tones as her face. Green eyes stand out in stark contrast against a russet face. Dark chocolate stains her muzzle and the tips of her ears. She stands at the taller end of medium, coming in at 33” and has a heavy build. There is not much fat on her frame however, muscles built from a life of hard training.
Personality: Chaotic Neutral
Domineering, self-righteous, ‘take no shit’ attitude, loyal (as long as it is in her own best interests), charismatic, mercurial, mischievous.
From an early age, Róta proved to be a wolf of action. She never placed much weight in words, and so, has no problems using other’s blind faith in what is spoken to her advantage. A trickster with big ambitions, she does love and cherish her family, however, that doesn’t exclude them from being considered rivals, after all, even though there will always be a blood price to be paid, she always prefers when it isn’t her own.
Róta leaves religion to those with less to do than herself. She is superstitious, and never goes out of her way to bring any undue divine attention to herself. Much like her sister, she believes the gods are more ‘hands off’ than directly meddling within the lives of those on Midgardr.
Her english is more refined than her siblings, finding it a useful tool early on to glean information from outsiders that could be twisted to her advantage.
Plot ideas: a wildcard, the spanner in all the works.

Name: Auðr
Relation: Sibling (Non-binary-AMAB)
Appearance:
Medium height, light build, plush coat
Personality: The creature is stunning and they know it. But Auðr is not too proud, not too proud by any measure, in fact, they're almost a little ashamed of it. Though they are not by any stretch of the imagination shameful it's perhaps due to a more feminine appearance that they've learned to be more understated themselves. Auðr is the strategist, never the first to volunteer for the hard work and usually more than happy to sink into the background, but they are always thinking, always observing, always watching.
That's not to say they're always quiet, Auðr is not afraid to speak their mind, nor are they afraid to call others out whenever they see something wrong, and in particular can be rather critical of their siblings and family. Auðr always seems to know more about what's going on than they let on, but rarely seems to share it except for with Sanngriðr.
Paradoxically they seem to hold religion in higher esteem than their sisters, deferring to lessons and traditions when unsure of how to proceed, which if usually a pretty stressful time for Auðr, who's used to knowing, or believing at least that they know, everything. In such times they refer to religion for comfort, for guidance.
Maybe deep down, there is something more humanizing about them. They just wish to be accepted, they wish to feel valued, though the spotlight terrifies them in a way few can understand they do not wish to be forgotten or ignored.
Plot ideas: Work with Sanngriðr as the brains of the quartet but let her take all the glory, instead kinda just seeming the asshole sibling who's hyper critical (And kinda resents the role they play)

Name: Iðunn
Relation: Slightly older cousin (her father is the brother to Víðarr and Sanngriðr's father)
Appearance: She has a myriad of brown fur over her body, and it starts the lightest at the top of her body as a more umber shade, then darkens in a gradient down her body to a dark chocolate/almost black at her paws. Black speckling shows up on her legs, with black shades under chin, on the underside of her tail, and along her sides (most prominently on her shoulders and hips), as well as the inner fur of her ears being black. White covers both sets of front toes, and she has a dash of white fur on the bridge of her muzzle, with white speckling around both eyes. Her eyes are an icy blue, standing out brightly against her face. She is also very tall but quite slender, and carries herself with elegance and an air of superiority.
Her accent is noticeably Swedish, especially certain sounds such as the "ch" sounding more like "sh", and "j" being pronounced more as a "y", etc., and when she doesn't feel like conversing at all with strangers she'll pretend to not know the common tongue at all.
Personality: Is religious and spiritual almost to a fault. Believes the old gods hold the key to everything, and will do anything and everything to appease them in the ways she was taught - otherwise known as by sacrificing small critters for good luck, and larger animals for specific rituals and ceremonies, or even an adult wolf who she believes needs to be cleansed of their sins (but she draws the line at pups). She takes great offense to those that turn their nose away from the beliefs of the old gods, and deems them to be not worth her time to even try and change their mind if they don't seem receptive to the idea of worshipping a power higher than themselves. She is also quite stoic, her large form allowing for a sort of gentle giant grace, but she doesn't speak often unless required to, and when she does it is often soft and reverent-sounding, as she likes to save her voice for when she goes off to worship alone. While not a particularly violent wolf or one to start a fight, she will not hesitate or go easy if she needs to defend herself or her family, and takes extreme pleasure in drawing blood from her opponents.
Plot ideas: Is the resident Priest/potentially future Executioner of the group, believes they need her to properly worship the old gods so as to not anger them by doing it incorrectly. She is a bit of a loner, preferring to spend her time working on her craft (fur painting, aesthetic scarring, potentially tattoos in the future, creating herb/psychedelic mixtures for certain special occasions) or off worshipping/preparing for the next sacrifice. She'll be happy to teach the others more about the old gods, but is unlikely to reveal her trade secrets unless she believes them to be worthy of knowing.

Inès
[ holy ]
—APPEARANCE
LITTLE FOX; hardened gaze steels only in moments of importance, as oft the girl is softer, motherly, and full of tenderness for those she cares and loves. woodland creature, born from clay and ash. feminine elegance is matched by the thick coiled muscles in her limbs and chest. Inès is petite in size, agile and swift. She is more fox then wolf, a privileged inheritance from her own grandmother. There is femininity in the way she carries herself. Inès moves with an unnatural grace and fluidity, garnering attention from the eyes of strangers. the plushness of her coat and the sleek of her fur is a true gift from her parents and her grandparents.
—PERSONALITY
SHE IS EAGER TO SERVE the righteous and defend the poor, but will not hesitate to wear the fleece of the sacrificial lamb should a loved one be in danger. never to sit idly on the side, the eldest daughter, she spends her days guiding her siblings with a protective paw and a level-headed mind. though she is enticed by battles and wars, she is honorable and fair. she doesn't belittle nor jest, and will defend her enemy should she see their situation particularly worrisome. it seems the most frustrating part of all is that though her paws may be soaked, quite literally, with blood, the girl rarely gets angry. she'll sooner envelope her enemies and rivals with her warmth than have them cleaved in half by her jaws. as the eldest of three siblings, she is bound by the duty to take charge and lead. a perfectionist at her core, the girl has always wanted to be an exemplary role model to her siblings and other relatives.
