Meet and Greet

Sirius had expressed interest in having Iolaire meet the newest members of his family when he'd come to visit The Hallows. With summer now claiming the land, the tiny fae decided that it was as good a time as any to travel. Having told Artorias and the rest of her younger siblings of her plans, the obsidian fae departed. She'd denied an escort. She was quicker on her own. Besides, she had Ila and Ashur. They were company enough and she trusted them more than she trusted most. Together the trio left Auster and crossed into Boreas. From there it wasn't terribly long til they reached Armada lands.
Coming to the border, Iolaire stopped and stretched. Rather than howl, Ashur gave a low, snow leopard roar to announce their presence. Ila immediately began stuffing her face with the lush grass of the plains. How she wasn't fat, Io didn't know. The tiny caribou never stopped eating.
With a yawn, Io tossed herself into some shade. The summer sun was brutal. Someone would come to collect her eventually. Until then, she would just nap.

Panting, Levi did his best to ignore the blazing sun as he went about his daily border patrol. With a coat as dark as his, he felt the heat more than most, glaring down along the length of his back as the gentle breeze did little to cool him down. He didn't expect to find anything out of the ordinary and so planned to rush down to the beach to have a well deserved paddle once he was done but...What, or rather who, was that? He skidded to a stop, black nose twitching as a strange scent filled his nostrils. A sound followed swiftly suit, some sort of cat roaring as though it had every right in being hell. Well little Levi would show them!
Kicking off into a sprint, the tiny Fatalis wove through the grass, cutting across the Plains as he made his way to the very edge of the territory. He skidded to a stop, still hidden by the looming grass as he squinted through the stalks. A wolf and her companions. What was she doing here?
"Who're you?" He asked through the grass with childish bluntness, not yet showing himself.

The strange call at his border caught Seers attention, and it wasn’t long before he fell into an easy ground-eating stride. He arrived to catch the scent of Io, and hear the abrupt speech of Levi, who must have been but a moment from the border to beat him to it. The Warlord stopped by the pup, and gave him a quelling expression. The pup, like everyone else in the Armada, knew the rules. A call needed to be answered by the Alphas, or those in the top tier ranks. He would have a talking to the boy later. For now… a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
“Iolaire, it's a pleasure” He said, stepping forward to look at the wolf resting in the grass. “You know Armada is always open to you. Levi, this is your great Aunt, Io. My sister. Why don’t you go grab your siblings and meet us on the beach?” he ordered the disobedient pup.
"Sirius Fatalis"

A little voice called out, asking who she was an Io pressed into the ground with one white toed paw, sitting up just enough to peer through the grasses. It was a boy. A tiny boy. With a snort of amusement, Io dropped back into the shade. "You're a new one. You wouldn't know anyway," she responded. Whose new one, she didn't know. Too new to be one of Sirius', she thought.
Sirius arrived moments later. His words brought a grin to her thin face and she shrugged. "Just being polite. Plus I needed a bit of shade after such a long walk." She motioned to the shade beneath one of the sparse trees at the edge of Armada lands. Her coat was just as obsidian as the boys and she knew that he was feeling the heat as well.
Rolling to her paws, Io slid her satchel back over her neck before looking up to her giant sibling. "You wanted a visit. I'm visiting." Though the rest of her was still worryingly thin, the fae's green and gold eyes were as vibrant as ever. They blinked as she gave him a 'now what' stare. He'd wanted her to meet someone. Or someone's.

Little Levi squinted up at the stranger, not at all sure what to make of her. Tipping his head to the side, he regarded her for a moment longer and wondered if he could get away with trying to bite her before someone else, inevitably, showed up. Probably the Warlord, maybe Dad. Would they be mad? Oh most certainly, but he still wanted to do it anyway. Because. Sadly, his train of thought was snipped shut as his Grandfather made his way onto the scene, all dire height and size, shooting Levi a look he returned in kind with a side glance of his own.
Now he was being shooed off? What for? And why wouldn't he call for them himself? No doubt too busy talking adult stuff, like little Levi was too small and stupid to understand what was going on.
"Fine." He tsked, vanishing back into the shadows of the long grass.

He knew Io wasn’t as she had been, and she was only here for a visit - but it almost felt like she was home. He looked his sister up and down. She still looked scrawny and unkept, changed from who she had been before she had left the Armada. But she was Io, and he loved her all the same.
He moved forward, cautiously, so as not to startle her, and drew the smaller wolf into an embrace. “Thank you for coming, Io” he said warmly, watching Levi go. “Come on, let's head to the plains” he said, leading her into his territory. His paws picked their path, and led them towards the location of her cottage. He had never liked anyone else taking over her home, and had cleaned it out recently. He wasn’t a healer, but it was clear some effort had been made to keep the house he and Io had made together in good condition. Her cascading garden exactly where she had left if, if not the same.

Sirius essentially told the boy to mind his business and get his siblings. The boy huffed, puffed and sulked and Io chuckled as he retreated into the grass. Served him right for being nosey, but she also understood the curiosity better than most. Since Sirius had asked the boy to collect his siblings, she imagined she'd be meeting more of them relatively soon.
Sirius drew her into his embrace and she embraced him in turn. Her mind wasn't quite as addled as it had been, but she would always be eccentric. He aimed to lead her towards the pack and she followed along merrily enough. It was only when they neared the cottage that her mouth turned downwards in a hard frown. No... that was no longer her cottage. She'd spent too much time with Roan between those walls. "There are too many ghosts in there,"
she admitted, stopping long before they reached the stone structure. She was glad to see that her gardens were thriving, however.
Shaking her head at the cottage once more, the small fae gave a pull of her skull, motioning Sirius away from the place. She would go anywhere but there.
