Pestilence was glad to be rid of the mushroom growths that had weighed her and pained her for almost a whole season now. Being healthy was a feeling she'd almost forgotten how to enjoy, and now that she was no longer sick Pestilence spent more time than normal exploring the territory, training, and just generally enjoying not being covered in fungus. There was however one last thing left to do to fully banish the nightmare from her thoughts, and that was to figure out what to do with the item she'd purchased from the cloaked figure. It was a blessing of some sort, he said. The intelligent part of her didn't want to trust it, but it seemed many other wolves lately had purchased and used items and hadn't found themselves dead as a result, so Pestilence figured it was safe enough.

She lifted the blessing in her paws and tilted it, looking at it from every direction. How did you use this stupid thing? She rubbed a paw against it, then gave it a cautious lick. "I'm ready to be blessed now?" She 'prayed'.

As you lick the strange item you find that your surroundings shift abruptly. You are no longer lounging comfortably in The Range, but instead are flying high above. In the field below graze a herd of deer, and suddenly you find yourself longing to be among them, to return to a home you never knew you had. The feeling lingers even when you finally come to your senses- what was that all about?
