Áskell was anxious to get his first match started. So much anxiety and grief had pent up inside him and it needed release before it caused even more damage. When at last he was called for his match he loped over to the ring and took his place inside it. His opponent was to be another Klein from the looks of it. He nodded respectfully to the yearling girl and set his defenses. He wasn't much in the mood to be polite and offer her the first move, or whatever you were supposed to do for girls. He didn't much believe in that stuff and as soon as he was ready he darted forward. Áskell shifted slightly to his right, seeking to slam the front of his chest into her left shoulder while at the same time twisting his head to his left to grab her scruff, hopefully not to far back from the skull.

She knew who Askell was. He was a part of habari, she had seen the wolf at meetings ans here and there around the territory. So she was glad her relative got to the point. Voodoo had her defenses on the ready. Ears pinned her claws digging into the dirt. The smaller male went straight for her.

She shifted to her left attempting to avoid his slam. His jaws found slight purchase on the side of her neck. Voodoo was quick trying to keep het head tucked. Opening her jaws she swung them towards Askells right eye. She wasnt going soft but she was inexperienced and wasnt sure how this would turn out for her.

Áskell's fangs nabbed the girl's neck, cutting skin and gaining a hold but farther down the neck than he wanted. Still he held fast. She was quick to respond. Her head darted for his face but with his hold on her neck she could not twist far enough to reach his face and instead her fangs anchored in the side of his neck. Well, crap. The were both literally neck and neck. Ha! He tensed his hind legs and pushed forward, seeking to push the brunt of his chest into her shoulder and see if he could get and leeway. It likely wasn't going to work. While they were of similar build she was slightly larger and he doubted he could get the leverage needed to topple her.

This was exactly what she had wanted. The pain rushing through her, heart pounding against her chest. It wasnt like ehen she used her herbs, but it felt similair. As Voodoo felt Askell push into het she tried to push back. Holding her paws pressed against the ground underneath her. She had groen quiet a bit amd she hadnt noticed until now. Their builds similiar but she held strength. She opened her jaws and attempted a bite past his ears towards the back of his head. She sought to gain purchase but this also left het under belly exposed.
