There were no such things as day and night for Oddity. He was different from the cycle of the world. Between right and wrong, his head just didn't work that way. His paws were in the middle of this paw shaped rock, where his bi colored orbs looked out towards the land masses in front of me. He felt like he was in the middle of something, it could come crashing in at any moment. All the darkness, inside of his heart that was washed around in his head. He shook his black head and showed off the scar on his right side of his neck and to the left shoulder on him. His tail moved back and forth as he lifted his head and jumped into the water, to swim across the lake. He used his powerful muscles to pull through it all.
Once arriving at the edge of the shore and climbing onto it. He shook the water free from his pelt. Oddity let around a yawn, and pulled his salmon tongue out. He wasn't hungry he was just feeling very urged while the sun was beating on him. The man pulled himself under a tree and lied down under the tree. There was no hope for him. Not after his father tore him from his mothers arms. After that he was just finished.

Saturn rolled his shoulders, his sturdy muscles rippling under his wet pelt. Lake water ran off his body onto the large flat stone where he lay, and pooled at his sides. The suns heat wrapped around him, slowly drying his fur. A piece of scaly fish skin lay crumpled by his forepaws, a subtle sign that Saturn had just finished a meal. He contently wiggled his toes, awkwardly playing with the skin until it fell of the rock.

He heard the faint sound waterdrops make when they hit earth and stone, and flicked his velvety gray ears towards the sound. He saw a dark colored wolf standing by the banks. Even at this distance Saturn could see blue orb in the left side of the canines skull. He respectfully moved his gaze away from the other wolfs eyes, and lingered it at the dark fur on his forehead.

He watched the black creature walk to the tree and lie under its protection. He crinkled his nose, smelling the air. The lake beside them, and the lake water still clinging to his fur, masked the freshness of his own scent. But not for much longer. He warily watched the stranger, forfeiting the first move. His hind legs tensed, ready to spring and bounce away.

Oddity perked his head to the scent of another wolf. At that, it was another male, ohhh lucky him. Perhaps there was a way to kill this one? No maybe he shouldn't. His kill toll might have been high but there was the right conditions as his dad had always told him. Be careful when it came to choosing your victims. Even if it was a female that was precious sometimes urges needed to be filled. Oddity could feel bones crunching under his teeth already. He stood up and shook himself shivering the edge of his tail. The scar on his chest fully being shown out as he smiled happily. His odd silver eye looking out to try and find the male.
"Hello, there someone there?" He asked out loud. Oddity wasn't afraid of a lot of things. The unknown was his thing, it poured onto him like the blood did when he bit into someone. It was all the same. He had been locked in a cage his entire life, and now he had been released. So these days he wished to move on with his urges without his father. The one who he had made return to the great blackness. When you died there was nothing left, the value of a life could not be returned. So he made sure to protect his, and enjoy his life to the fullest. He wanted to feed his hunger for knowledge as well.

Saturn watched male perk his head, and knew that he had been noticed. His gaze dropped to the males chest, where a scar ran across the black brutes skin. He has a respect for wolves with scars like that, it meant that they could hold their own, no matter how trivial or how serious of matters they fought over. It indicated that he was a survivor, and those who know how to survive could be dangerous. Saturn could feel in his gut that this was a wolf to be wary around.

The black wolf spoke, and Saturn realized now was his last chance to flee before identifying himself. "Yes. I'm Saturn. Who might you be?" he asked politely. He moved his black paws back underneath himself and stood, and slowly stepped down off the rock. Some of the fur on his stomach still hung heavily off his body because of the dampness, but the rest of his fur had dried off. His tail hung low to the ground, slightly curved up.

Oddity watched the male, tilting his head. So he wasn't here to send him to the great blackness then? Guess not, this of course made him stand up straight. The survivor of a so called event was here in front of him. Though this scar was from his father, and in which he had now buried his father into the ground with his throat torn apart. Oddity's mark of a killer was an attempt to tear at the throat, and the underbelly. That was the best part of killing, and his brain wouldn't let him feel bad about it either, so that was swell. He sat back down and lowered his head, both eyes looking over the white coat of Saturn. That scent to he was trying to put to memory in case he ran into Saturn again and wanted to pick him out as a victim.
"My name is Oddity sir, I have recently departed from my father so I am here in alacritis." More like he made his father depart himself. Oddity kept secrets hidden deep down, he wouldn't ever kill in front of anyone unless it was required of him. He silently dragged his victims off with his gentle trust. He could be brutal as well though. Everything his father had taught him, he had perfected. He was a killer perfected to the very core. A slayer, and a monster if you couldn't look at it another way.
"Why are you here, Saturn?" Oddity asked, adding his name at the end to remember it for good measure. He didn't look like he wanted anything. Oddity's voice was monotone too so it didn't seem like he was ever angry sad, or any of the other emotions he did feel besides remorse. Perhaps he could even love, maybe, if he found a female to bear him a strong son. Then he could teach his son to kill, and treasure his life until the great blackness reached him.

The white wolf flicked his half gray tail absentmindedly, letting his amber stare hover over the dark wolf. The other wolf sat down, and Saturn watched him get comfortable. Good, a comfortable wolf was less of a threat. When his new acquaintance spoke he let one certain word roll over in his mind. Departure. What an odd word to use. It reminded him of how some wolves spoke of death as a departure to the next world, forever giving the word a morbid ring. He noted to not bring up the wolfs father ever.

He took a moment to decide his response to the question. "I felt a call to leave," he said simply. He would rather leave another wolf with questions than over detail them. Anyway, knowledge truly had proved to be power in Saturns experience, so the more vague he was, the better he was off.

Saturn eyed the monotone wolf, noticing the silver hue and blue color of each of his eyes. An odd combination, considering two silver eyes was incredibly uncommon. He supposed that is why the wolf was named Oddity. He liked the strange name a little more when he realized that. He liked when names had meaning. If his name had any meaning to his parents, he certainly hadn't been able to figure it out.

"Cercina, is that what this land is named? Have you been here long?" Saturn asked. How long this rogue wolf had lived would indicate to Saturn some important things, like the life expectancy of a lone wolf dangling just outside of borders of the nearby packs.

(It's alacritis, typoe sorry)

Oddity looked at the male for a moment, he wasn't even worth killing. He was boring, it wouldn't be any fun. Oh well, there was no whining for him in these moments. He was in a good mood anyway so Saturn was lucky anyway. As the black male stretched, yawning showing off a salmon colored tongue as it flipped over his gums. He was confused about the answer though. I felt a call to leave? What did that mean. Was it some sort of foreign code for something. Oddity's eyes blinked. "What's that mean?" He asked out front tilting his head. Oddity was simple, he was complicated, it was hard to explain. Though now for sure he knew he just wanted to get some information out of Saturn rather than keep him around for company.
"It's alacritis yes, and I have lived here my entire life, I simply didn't move around much until my father died." Oddity answered in his monotone voice. Was there a way to get past a devil? Or was it just simply put a way that Oddity was different from the rest. It wasn't like he was playing a game. Life was a game but Oddity played it with his knowledge. He wanted to know everything so that he wouldn't get in trouble. So that he wouldn't be sent to the great blackness so soon. He was only two years of age. Even though he made it seem like he wasn't so young. Unlike others he had met, Saturn seemed smart. Perhaps he could pull some survival information out of him.
