First a sand coloured cat, now one with stripes. Where were all these predators coming from? Levi felt as though he'd blink and BAM, it was time to fight. Of course he was bringing it on himself since he kept roaming about, but still, was the outside world always like this? If so maybe he needed to leave home sooner rather than later, just to keep his skills sharp. Drawing up to its full height, the tiger let out a frustrated snarl. He'd interrupted its lunch- some sort of deer, by the look and smell of it- and it was none too happy to let him loiter.

Rushing into action, Levi dipped low as he ducked beneath a swipe of its massive paws. He was getting good at this, but figured knowing his luck someone was gonna crash the party soon enough.

Ulmaria bounded through the lush field of flowers, chasing after a butterfly. It was a gorgeous summer day and the warm afternoon sun mixed with the heady scent of flowers making this land seem just as dream like as Álarr had said. It never crossed her mind that something dangerous could be lurking in such a heavenly land until her butterfly landed on a funny striped rock and she collided right into the rear end of a tiger. Yowling at the electric shock from the collision the tiger bounded forward and spun around to face her. Her initial thoughts were of 'ooo pretty kitty' and 'oh shit' before she screamed in surprise. How did this keep happening? She hadn't even seen the strange boy that seemed to be a predator magnet.

Álarr was in a good mood. The weather was favorable and he was making a killing this trip. Every which way he turned he was finding more herbs to add to his collection. He was finishing cataloguing his haul when Brynhildr screeched a warning call letting him know that not only was there a predator in the area but Ulmaria seemingly had found. Fuck. He needed to stop taking her on trips unless she agreed to stay in his sight. This was getting stupid. He raced to the scene to see a tiger and the same boy they'd run across earlier. "For fuck's sake, how do you manage to piss off every dam predator in the vicinity?" His words caught the attention of the tiger who fixated on his horns and determined the wolf was prey and of more immediate interest then the pups. It lunged and Álarr swiftly ducked out of the way, his fangs latching on the tiger's paw for a moment before he released it to avoid a retaliatory swipe.

As if on cue, the pair of Fireside wolves rolled onto the scene and the tiger was quick to fixate on the biggest of the lot. Taking advantage in its lapse of focus, Levi danced around to the side and grabbed onto its tail, stealing the girl's idea when they fought the lion. It worked fine for her, so why not give it a shot? The coppery taste of blood settled upon his tongue as his sabres ripped into the thin skin, clicking down on knobbly tail bone. His ears flicked back in satisfaction as they caught its roar of pain, whipping around and lifting Levi off his paws as he held on for dear life.

The tiger swiped and Ulmaria had ducked just in the knick of time as the cat's lower claw cut a scratch across her forehead. Tail between her legs she skittered through the grass and dove into a badger hole just as the tiger pounced. Thankfully the hole was unoccupied and she scooted to the back out of range of the great cats claws. It seemed to be distracted by something else and she carefully scooted forward, daring to peer out of her safe place to watch the tiger go for her uncle and then she noticed the same boy again. Boy was he a magnet for trouble.

The tiger yowled and whipped around suddenly as Álarr noted the boy latching onto its tail. He waited only a fraction of a second longer before he sprang into the fray once more, using the tiger's distraction to seize on an opening. For as the tiger twisted around to get at the pup it left the outside side of its neck exposed. Álarr's fangs sank in deeply as he shoved his chest into the shoulder of the cat, effectively bowling it over onto its side. The tiger kicked out with its hind legs, catching him in the gut and shoving him off. Though the tiger had successfully dislodge the wolf the action caused Álarr's fangs to tear deeper lacerations in its neck as he was violently ripped away. The tiger got shakily to its feet, eyeing the wolves.

He felt his grip slipping, clinging onto lower and lower vertebrae till his teeth clicked on empty air. Thrown aside, he was slower to rise to his paws as he watched the other two fight, they didn't look at all alike but they carried a similar scent. Of grass and grazers. Refocusing anew, he made to grab at the tigers' ankle, slashing into the soft flesh where veins and arteries ran thick. Attacking in tandem, it wasn't looking good for the tiger, it'd have to abandon its kill if they all kept this up and from a brief glance their way it looked like they hadn't ran out of steam just yet.

Ulmaria debated what to do. She was too scared to jump back in the fray but she didn't want the guys to think she was a coward for hunkering down in the badger hole. Maybe she could distract the cat a bit? Ulmaria raced across the terrain whooping and hollering, trying to distract the tiger so that maybe one of the others, probably Álarr, could land a blow to end this fight. She scrambled through the brush, looping back as she did so. She tried to keep the badger hole always in sight in order to give herself enough time to dive back into it should the tiger break loose and come after her again.

Álarr flinched as he hit the ground with a hard thud. A wave of nausea washed over him from the tiger kicking him in the gut and it took him a moment to get back to his feet. Thankfully the cat had taken just as long. The predators faced off against each other and Álarr snarled, taking a few deliberate steps forward as he lowered his head, making violent gestures with his horns. The tiger hissed, ears back but after assessing the situation further it turned and fled, deciding it had suffered enough damage for it's meal. Further damage could mean starvation. It would just have to catch another meal after nursing its wounds.
