Each limped step laced more pain through her mangled paw, and though Aryn started her walk just as the sun began to rise she did not make it to the border until it was well and visible in the sky. Recluse had chosen a punishment to fit the crime indeed, as Aryn knew she had little hope of running away again on a paw that had been thoroughly declawed. Upon her chest she wore a sore and crusted over set of wounds, deep slices of her alpha's own fangs. It was a careful reminder that had Recluse truly wanted to tear her heart out that she could have - and only hammered home the threat of what was to come if she tried something like that again.

Without the bravery to move further, she found herself at Habari's border. The albino alphess slept during her days, so at least Aryn could have some small feeling of safety that she would not find her here. She wasn't trying to run away, not truly, but poking her toes over the border felt freeing in ways she couldn't explain. Had she ever been locked away anywhere? In Lirim she was welcome to wander, even in Habari before the sickness she had the ability to see neighbouring territories and explore. Recluse hadn't outwardly said that she was relegated to Habari territory, she supposed, but risking it and the alpha's wrath was not something she could ever muster the bravery to do.

Instead she settled down into the grasses beside the stream, lifting her unharmed paw and scratching absently at her head. Horns had budded in from her skull- the only positive thing that had come from that long, glowing night. Whatever prompted their appearance she had no idea, but whatever it was she hoped it meant someone was looking out for her, even now as she may maimed.

Things had been quite, still, or that was the young man's days so far, going here and there. Alone most of the times, but that has been his life, lonely. He'd been independent on his growth not only on a physically basis, but his education and what he wanted to be were all on his own paws. No professional healers beside his mothers took residence in this pack, and that forced him to learn on his own. Of course that wasn't too efficient, but was there any other alternative? Not really. He could ask his mother for help, but he never liked to bother others, so yes it was part his own fault but well.

The morning brought a cool, fresh day. And for the Klein it felt just right, perfect for a morning walk. His fur was messy from not having a bath in a while. Fortunately, he went unharmed by the long night's sickness, seeing many suffer around him. Yet he couldn't help, he didnt know how anyways.

He let his mind wander, traveled through a crowded brain, crowded of passing by memories, moments of his life. He needed to get better, better as a fighter and healer if he wanted to protect his family, his home. And there he almost missed the female's form as he walked by. But her scent stopped him before stumbling onto her. She seemed, bad, badly injured. Ears pulled down in concern. "Hello?... Are you okay? Who did this?" He asked, tail tucked in respect as he inspected her wounded paw. With only his eyes for now.

Aryn startled to her paws as the unfamiliar voice rang out, her muscle memory bringing her four paws onto the ground with an even distribution of weight. It was a very, very brief mistake, as the pain in her toes shot lightning bolts up her arm and brought her down to her knees once more. She peered up cautiously at the stranger, who smelled of Habari but otherwise she could not name.

His question brought an uncharacteristic scoff to Aryn's maw, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. "What do you mean, who did this? Recluse did this." She snapped back, her injured limb shaking slightly as waves of pain continued along it. Aryn eyed his respectful posture uncomfortably, her own ears flattening suspiciously as he stared her down.

He was worried about the woman, he had never seen such thing, and he was hopping it wasnt from who he though could be. How he could help her? He wasnt really a very experimented healer, but the little he had could perhaps alleviate some the pain. He felt concern and pity on the poor woman, he had a soft spot unlike many of his family. He was more of a soft hearted unless he had to be less kind. But until know he never found himself in such position and he would rather not be. He didnt like unnecessary violence, he would avoid it as much as he could. But sometimes his morbid curiosity took away the best of him, by making him watch such events, but mostly to learn. Of course not to be an author of that, but actually learn about the different injuries a wolf can have and perhaps know how to fix.

"May I help you?" He asked, not reacting to her snap. He could understand her actions, animals in pain were prompt to be moody and to bite. He would do that too so he had no reason to judge. "Im sorry, im sorry she did that. Please I wish to help you. I know i trick with wounds that could help. Is not a big deal but it had helped me in the past." He assured, sincere on his wish to help her. She would be his first patient, of course he felt nervous but certainly he wasnt going to let that be reflected on his voice or facial expressions.

Aryn continued to watch with suspicion as the self-proclaimed healer offered up a trick to heal her wounds. Was this some sort of test, had Recluse sent him? The alpha had given Aryn permission to see the healers for her wounds, though none of them had asked her where she had acquired her injuries. Regardless, she was not the type of wolf to be inheritantly rude for no reason, and her demotion within the pack meant there were few wolves she even had the authority to deny. "Go ahead then." She gave a small nod, then held her declawed paw up for his inspection, still watching him with hesitation in her eyes.

"Speech!"

He smiled at her allowance for him to tend her wounds, wanting to make her feel better on his own rustic but effective ways, ways he was to do for the first time with someone who wasnt himself. Yes he tested on his own body remedies and other stuff he came up with. Carefully with the touch of a petal, he would take her front left paw into his, trying to be as gentle as velvet. He inspected her nails, which weren't there anymore, leaving empty and bloodied pockets. Recluse was his family, but he felt this was too much, and he wondered if the nails would ever grow back after such damage of the roots. The toes seemed swollen. He didnt know the plants name but he knew which could help, at least with the swelling. Placing very softly her paw back into the soil he looked at her. "Give me a second! Let me bring what i use for wounds and swelling." Quickly he went to his den to retrieve white flowers, Charmomille though he didnt know the name.

Back he placed the white flowers and with a rock he would make a paste out of them. Until it was in the consistency to be applied. "This may will itch a while, as it will help clean the wound and help with the swelling!" Later he would go ahead and attempt to apply it over the holes where the nails should be in. He repeated it with the other paws. He felt his nervousness' fade, leaving room to a more serious and determined expression. Lastly, with some bandages he would wrap them around the four paws. "Youll have to stay put for somedays while it makes effect. Do you have anywhere to stay?"
