He was on his way south permanently now he supposed. Not that he was opposed to it. Or that he really had a choice. There was a mission he and his brother needed to see out and this was their way in. Not quite as determined as Usagi, Kuroo wasn't going to let his brother down now. Taking the day to go hunting on his own so that Usagi could get a reprieve from his good attitude, he began dipping down into the valley. In his wake, animals would scatter, but he paid no mind. A light wind teased at his fur as it carried his scent down toward the water.

Once he reached the small river that split the Fjord in two, he paused as his toes touched the water. Lowering his mottled vitiligo muzzle down to the surface, he lapped up a few drinks. Keeping both ears on his surroundings, Kuroo let his pale eyes survey the quiet scenery for a few moments after lifting his head. It was a nice afternoon with the sun shining and barely a cloud in the sky. Not particularly good hunting weather as the wind picked up, but for the moment, he was content.

the day drags on..

as if on a timeless loop, the clock seemed to never stop ticking. from dusk to dawn, it was always the same routine. wake up, hunt, eat, sleep, repeat..

he needed more excitement in his life, he was yearning for it. just to feel that adrenaline rush, the raw erotic feeling again. grïmmjow felt as though he was teetering on the edge of defeat, lost in a world of darkness with no light to guide him home. suppose he was lost, though he'll never admit that. his brothers may as well have written him off, he was dead to them and he knew it was better that way. they were better off without him.

now he stands emotionless, lifeless almost, beside the river. silently watching the fish swim around in the endless pool, wondering if they even knew that he was there. for a moment grïmm figured he was alone, however, that was until he heard the lapping of a tongue against water and the wind pummels him - bringing with it an unfamiliar scent. off to his far right, across the other side of the river bed, stood a slate grey male with patches of white. he was different to look at, though the more grïmm parades around this place this more he begins to realize just how different others truly are..

grïmmjow gyrates his large head over his right shoulder blade, staring at the man for a moment longer before returning his gaze to the water again. he figured if he just ignored the boy he would go away. though as of late, he seems to have been attracting the likes of every wolf on these lands..

ooc;; sorry this too forever to get to you ! if just been so busy

Distracted by the sound of honking geese that had taken flight into the air, Kuroo hadn't noticed the man approach the water. With the wind brushing against his coat, the other man's scent had missed him. It wasn't until he heard the crunch of dirt beneath paw and felt a stare upon his skin did he turn to look. Slowly turning to move his pale gaze over to the darker coated male, Kuroo met those bright blues. Even though he saw a slight flash of the scar on the other side of the man's face, something moved inside Kuroo. Perhaps it was the masculinity of the male that made him interested.

Though the stranger turned away to gaze at the glassy surface of the river, something in Kuroo propelled him forward. Being quite the sociable wolf, Kuroo didn't hold much fear within him of others. Keeping his tail low and his ears in a relaxed position, he approached the slate-faced figure with a friendly expression upon his mottled face. What was he supposed to say? Hello? That seemed boring. Comment on the scar? No, that was too forward. Unable to take his eyes off the man, Kuroo stopped a few feet down river with his own toes touching the water.

"Nice day for a drink of water," he comments as he finally turns his gaze toward the water himself. Well, that sounded stupid. There was no taking it back now. If the man wanted to ignore him, he could. Part of him hoped he'd strike up a conversation. Waiting quietly, he lifted a paw to splash at the wet shore to help calm his nerves.
