Albion shook himself as massive ivory paws carried him down the beaches of his home. His father and the King depended on him to start helping with patrols, now that he was 9 months old it was time to begin his journey to independence. He thought himself quite the hot shot, with his massive height and intimidating assets. He was learning to wield both of those traits well, but anyone could see he still needed the experience under his belt before he could be considered any king of competent. Albi would never admit those facts himself. It showed in the way he pranced down the sand, and that weakness was obvious to the tiger that was stalking him.


"Albion Klein"

Athena patrols the island that has become her home, amber eyes searching for any danger. The wind shifts, bringing with it the scent of a tiger. Carefully the earthen-hued wolf changes direction, working to sneak up on the large beast. On silent paws she stalks the large cat, arriving to find the creature’s attention captured by… eyes flick over to the pale pup and Athena knows he is part of Chimera’s brood. The male pup seems blissfully unaware of the death that stalks him, just as the cat is unaware of silent pain that waits its shadow. Without a sound, the earthen wolf rushes forward, lightly leaping onto the tiger’s back to clamp her teeth on to the tiger’s right shoulder. It yowls in surprise in pain and Athena growls and thrashes her head, trying to inflict as much pain as possible on the cat. Paws brace against the large frame of the tiger as the feline starts to fight back. "Athena Nocturna"

The young prince really was totally unaware as he strolled through his patrol. The wind wasn’t with him so he was the perfect prey for a young female tiger having trouble feeding herself. She didn’t have any trouble traversing the water between the mainland and Fenmyre’s border. Albion didn’t know anything until the yowl behind him. At the very least his reaction time was impressive. The boy spun around to find one of the pack’s wolves on the tiger’s back in the foliage. He reacted quickly instead of letting his jaw drop and raced forward to help the she wolf. He was very nearly as tall as the she cat, and with his heavy bones threatened her weight. Heaimed to barrel into the cat’s chest before it could retaliate against Athena.


"Albion Klein"

She has to hand it to the pup; his reaction time is impressive. Instead of standing there, dumbstruck as many wolves would, the pale pup rushes in, barreling into the surprised tiger’s chest. Whoa nelly. The cat stumbles and Athena releases her hold, jumping off the tiger’s back. Landing softly, the earthen wolf wheels around, white teeth flashing as she growls at the tiger. The cat is attempting to recover as Athena rushes toward it. While the pup has size and strength, the earthen wolf relies on her speed. Rushing in, she snaps her teeth around one of the tiger’s front paws, aiming to try keep the cat off balance. Before it has time to react, she is racing out of its striking zone, turning to reset her defense and prepare for the next round. "Athena Nocturna"

His momentum struck the cat with intense force and it was sent rolling away from both Fenmyre wolves. Albion felt the surge of adrenaline and a feeling of victory. He was certain the tigress would be chased off after that and with Athena running in to attack again it was all but over. Albion and Athena both rushed at the feline and again rebuked it. And even the inexperienced pup could see the fight waning from her features, but she would not take refuge on this island. Albion was determined to see her swim back across the bay or she was going to succumb to his jaws.

"Albion Klein"

They work as a team, driving the hungry tigress back toward the ocean. Athena falls into rhythm with the pale pup, advancing when he steps back, pulling back when he rushes forward. The tigress begins to rethink her options, the wound on her shoulder making the cat understand that she made a bad choice. Jaws snap at the indecisive tiger, aiming to scare but not injure the large cat. It will need its paws to swim back to the mainland after all. The tigress’s eyes flick between the wolves as she backs away, weighing all her options. Athena lunges rather aggressively toward the retreating tigress and it back peddles until its back paws hit water. Confused eyes glance down as the cat realizes they have driven it back into the ocean. One more threatening advance and the cat will give up the fight and retreat back into the water.
