Their children were growing fast and while Azure knew should sadden him, he felt only excitement to be free of the demands of a group of very young bodies and minds. They'd kept up on their training - some better than others, he'd noticed - and were working towards becoming fine Fatalis specimen each in their own right. Rather then retire directly to his den after his patrol, the direwolf Champion made his way toward the various arenas in the oceanside plains. Picking out a ring, he placed himself in it's center and threw his head back in an inviting call. It was possible the puppies were already tucked away and asleep (and if that were the case Azure assumed it wouldn't be the worst thing to accept a challenge from one of the other Armada members) but he hoped to see one of his young heirs arrive to display their growing strength. With bright eyes and a spring in her step, Hazel returned to the training rings. Seer (sir)'s most recent lesson was burning brightly in her mind. She would test what she'd learned under the Warlord, she'd stay atop her guard on that right side. It was her weaker, that was for sure, but Hazel was learning. She was getting better. She'd keep getting better. Better and bolder, that was well and good. In all things, Hazel would be bold as brass. Bold and excited. Especially because Sirius had said something about bumping her up as early as next season... yeah, she'd need to practice.

It's as she nears the ring that the call rings out, and she can't help herself. There's excitement in the red and pale pup as she bounds forward, squaring her stance within the ring. This was Lis's dad, the champion of the Armada, son of the Warlord himself. Hazel makes bold, direct eye contact with him. There was no fear. The bold, curious nature of the girl rang through in the way she peered at him. Right, Sirius probably wouldn't come looking for if she was out a little past time to be back in bed... right? Yeah. Good enough. "I want to spar." She asserted, straightening up to her full height. Is this how things worked? Who knew. Hazel had no sense of decorum, and was all enthusiasm.

Azure blinked in faint confusion as an entirely different child came up on him to answer his call. This girl was not one he'd formally met before - was this the child his parents had taken in, found as an orphan? It was not out of character for the warlord to be adopting random outcasts, Sirius had taken in half a dozen before her. The girl was bold and enthusiastic, her posture speaking loudly to the Champion. She wore the confidence of a Fatalis, but with no bloodline to back it up Azure struggled to take it seriously. "Oh do you?" He mused, sounding unimpressed. Basilisk's scent was upon this pup, did Sirius know his newest addition was becoming fast friends with Az's heir? This was a vital opportunity to see what kind of wolves his son had surrounded himself with, and whether Hazel was worthy of his friendship at all. "On with it, then."
