Keetie was exploring through the territory adjacent to the Rock Garden. The stones clinking beneath her claws as she moved through the Steppe. She was amused at how many packs she had to carefully navigate around now. Boreas was becoming a busy place these days. Didn't these packs realise how they chained themselves to one place, and threw away the key? Trading freedom for security. Shaking her head, she hopped gracefully down and started to make her way to the river that ran through from the North. As she did so, she caught a familiar scent. She breathed in deeply, and laughed softly. She well recognised the scent, through they had met only once. The delicious looking purple wolf wasn't easy to forget.
She turned towards the pack, before glancing about herself. She wondered how far Sitka had gone in search of food. Should she give him a heads up? But he was well accustomed to her spontaneous nature by now. Perhaps he would come bail her out if she needed it. For a cost, of course. She wondered how many kisses that would cost her? Or perhaps he would simply laugh at her from the other side of the border.
She grinned, falling into a light stroll as she made her way towards the pack. Stopping on it's outskirts as she raised her head, sampling the scents in the air. It had been some time since she had meet that purple wolf, but then she had never gotten a taste of her, had she? A crime, if ever she had seen one. Perhaps a congratulatory kiss was in order. After all, the woman was a Queen now. She raised her head and called for Manea. Knowing Keetie was also not a wolf easily forgotten.

While the island had plenty of space and caves to house them with room to grow, Manea still wanted to make sure that they would have land that was protected for just them to hunt on and perhaps even hold events without having to being outsiders onto the island. The Rock Garden that the island's land bridge connected to was an obvious choice for this, though she was tempted by the lake that was also close by. The only real deciding factor was the fact that she enjoyed having the land that allowed access to the island reserved for the pack as well and that the Firefly Lake would share a border with the neighboring pack. Perhaps one day if they felt the need to expand again she might reconsider, but for now she was pleased with this choice.
She was working on reinforcing the scent markers around the edge of the territory, knowing that as a new pack they would certainly need to make their presence known so outsiders would know that this land was no longer free to roam as they pleased. However, as she began to make her way around the border again, she spotted a vaguely familiar figure sauntering up to the border from a distance. The markings that appeared like blue fire were difficult to forget and a smirk crossed her face as the woman called for her. She certainly hadn't expected a visitor, especially not the shooting star she had come across all those seasons ago, but here she was to add some intrigue to her day. Manea turned her path toward their visitor with a loping trot, curious to see what brought the beauty to their pack.
"Well well well," she said as she got close, giving Lorikeet a grin as she slowed to a walk to finish closing the distance. "I didn't expect to see you again. This is certainly a nice surprise." She thought back to the last time they met and it was shocking to think of how much had changed. Meeting Alastor, having their twins, creating the band, setting up this pack... So much had happened in what was really a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things. She gave the blue-hued woman a curious glance with a tilt of her head, asking, "What brings you by? Just passing through?"

It wasn’t long before she was spotted by the Queen herself. The elegant purple giant strolled towards her from within lands that now lay in her control. She looked the part. Regal and healthy. More whole than she had been the first time Keetie had seen her.
“Manea, my day just got a little warmer” she teased, closing her eyes for a moment and leaning to the side, as through Manea’s beauty was the sun. “Passing through, I wasn’t expecting to catch a familiar scent here. All this is… fairly new?” she took in another breath, sampling the air. Thick of Manea’s scent, and that of another. Eyes sparkling, Lorikeet leaned slightly forward, shockingly close to the border. “You know, I’ve never kissed a Queen before…”

Manea's lips pulled up in an amused smirk as Lorikeet easily leaned into her side as if they had known each other forever, making herself comfortable against her violet-hued form. She chuckled and nodded to confirm the observation the flirtatious woman made about the pack being new, replying, "It is indeed. We only put down permanent roots here in the last few weeks. You happened to come by just at the right time." She let her aqua gaze continue to linger on the pretty, blue-marked woman beside her while she seemed to continue sampling the air, no doubt trying to pick out any other scents along the new pack's fresh border. The stinking two toned eyes found hers again as Lorikeet suddenly leaned much closer, mentioning how she had never been kissed by a queen before.
A sly smirk pulled at Manea's lips in response, a chuckle rumbling in her chest as she peered at Lorikeet with intrigue. She was certainly not a shy one and was very forward and to the point with what she wanted—things Manea could appreciate. "Hmm, well, that certainly is a shame, isn't it?" she purred, giving a little flash of teeth with her grin. She leaned in and gave Lorikeet's nose a teasing flick of her tongue, amusement in her aqua gaze. "I wonder... what's a kiss from a Queen worth to you?" She truly would have kissed Lorikeet then and there, but the woman was amusing and fun to banter with so Manea was just enjoying having a bit of fun with her.

“Then congratulations are in order, you’ve done well for yourself” Keetie said appreciatively. Settling down wasn’t the life for her, but she could see it suited Manea well. A shame, really. Another beautiful specimen lost to the married life. That wouldn’t stop Keetie from teasing her of course…
As Manea rose to the challenge, Keetie’s grin grew a little more. Uttering a soft sound of contentment as Manea’s tongue flicked across her nose. A rumble in her chest. “A kiss from a Queen such as yourself? Hmmm… a fair bit. What would you ask for in trade for this treasured boon?” her voice was sly, as she looked up at the taller wolf from her lashes. Wondering what this moonlight wolf would consider a fair trade for a kiss.

Lorikeet's sultry, flirtatious nature was out in full force it seemed and Manea was having a swell time with this little back and forth exchange with her. When the lithe woman stated that a kiss from her would be worth quite a bit and asked what she would want for such a thing, Manea hummed softly with thought, a sly smirk pulling at her lips. Considering that she would have just given the kiss away for free if tempted enough she couldn't inconvenience the lovely woman too much, but she did find it flattering and amusing that she was willing to trade for something as simple as a kiss. If she was in Lorikeet's position she'd ask for much more than a kiss, but maybe that was part of the adorable charm of her surprise visitor.
"Hmm... You know, I haven't had a good fight in a while," she mused, her aqua gaze flicking down the length of Lorikeet's toned form. She didn't know for certain of course, but she had a suspicion that Lorikeet could put up a good fight and if that was the case Manea would be more than happy to take a bit of entertainment in exchange for a kiss. "Think you can entertain me enough to earn that kiss?" she questioned as she brought her gaze back to Lorikeet's, giving her a grin with a flash of teeth and a daring look in her eyes. "I'll warn you though... I might want more than a kiss at the end of it."
