Oh look, it was a lion. A big, fluffy headed lion doing big, fluffy headed lion things. Oh, and look who was running straight towards it. A big, fluffy bodied Merrick doing big, fluffy bodied Merrick things. Really... He was running right for it!

The lion barely had time to look up before the hulking purple beast was upon it. Curved talons ripped into the lions flesh and the cat squealed in both anger and pain. The cat instantly turned and swiped out at Merrick but its claws caught nothing but mane. The big brute danced backwards, a sneer on his scarred face. He was always looking for a fight and it seemed as though this big, dark maned lion was looking to give him one.

"Merrick Mendacium"

There was another wolf in the area who enjoyed a good fight. The adrenaline rush it brought, the chance to let out that buried anger inside him. The sheer joy of smelling and seeing the blood of someone else, the feeling of their blood on his coat.

Kichi spotted Merrick and the kitty and ran it to join him. He wasn’t as fluffy as either one of them but that was fine. Coming from the lion’s rear he lept up, front legs on the lion's back, head tilted sideways as he bite into the lion's back, opening up flesh around the upper part above the curve around the hip area.. The kitty spun and Kichi’s feet hit the ground, for a moment it looked as if he thought about fighting the lion face to face but with a moment of anger, he leaped back to avoid the lion’s muzzle with only that second to spare. It roared and showed off its fangs, Kichi snarled in return to say what he thought of the lion’s attempt at scaring him off.

"Kichi"

A second wolf entered the fight and Merrick recognized the same silver boy from before. A grin split the giant's maw and he bellowed out a war cry as he leaped towards the feline once more. The boy had bitten into the cat's hip and it spun to face him, leaving the back open for Merrick to attack. Teeth sank into the lion's spine and both sets of talons sunk into the flesh between the lion's ribs. The lion was no match for the pair of strong canines. Merrick knew this, but did the cat?

The lion spun, trying to dislodge his attacker and it worked. Merrick went skittering across the grass with a growl, hind paws digging in to stop his momentum. He wasted no time in rushing the cat once more.

"Merrick Mendacium"

Even as Kichi had lost his attack on the lion’s back and had to gain distance to avoid being bit, Merrick had been doing his own damage to the giant cat. As the cat spun about to attack Merrick the silver wolf leaped up finding where Merrick had already bit into the spine region, attempting to bite it but instead grabbing lion flesh near it. Stupid lion moving while they were working at killing it.

Kichi gripped the wound, paws pressing against the lion's side to brace against and yank off a chunk of the flesh and meat near the spine’s injury, opening it more and letting the blood flow free. The cat was starting to spin again so Kichi let go and went for an easier spot grabbing a leg and chomping into it. Kitty kitty should just give up now but then again it was more fun having a fight.

"Kichi"

The pair of wolves harried the lion back and forth, back and forth. It fought, but the wound in its spine was taking its toll. The feline began to drag its back end, roaring loudly as it felt the scythe of death swinging ever closer.

The grey boy grabbed a leg and Merrick dove in to sink teeth into the back of the lions skull. Thre big brute swung his head back and forth further damaging the spine and tearing big rips in the lion's neck. The cat groaned and promptly died as something vital was struck. Releasing the dead cat, Merrick chuckled and lapped the blood from his lips. It was a good day.

"Merrick Mendacium"

Kichi chomped onto one of the bear’s back legs, chomped again, getting a deeper better grip, finding his teeth around the bone and after some grinding work cracking it.  The lion was already sloping sideways through from the damage done to it.  It was obvious its time was running out.  It had started the fight probably expecting it to be easy.  He wouldn’t live very long to regret his error in that thought.

At this rate it wasn’t necessary to keep fighting but, it was fun hurting it.  Kichi bit into the other leg, after a bit of work it also cracked.  The lion roared in pain but was beyond being able to fight back.  Even as Kichi imagined what else to bite into the cat’s body went limp.  The great proud cat was dead from the attack of 2 wolves.

“That was fun,” Kichi stated, nudging the lion’s corpse, “but it was far too fast.”  Stupid cat couldn’t even put up a better fight.
