Zoey had been in Abaven Academy for some time now - not quite so long as to know the place super well, but enough to settle in and belive this would be her home from now on. She had a purpose here, and above all, a family of sorts. The nice wolf who’d essentially rescued her from a certain death, Solo, would likely hardly recognize her if not for her russet fur and goggles. She was sprouting like a weed - but in a good way! Her limbs were getting a bit longer, less stumpy. Her downy puppy fur was beginning to shed out in clumps, revealing a smoother yearling coat of the most fiery autumn hues. She found she even had to adjust the straps on her goggles - was her head getting so big from just growing, or perhals from the knowledged she was accruing from her studies? Everyone was just so lovely here, so kind. And there were many more to meet and make friends with!
The rushing creek was one of the main territories of Abaven’s massive span of land, something she’d taken note to explore when she had the chance - as a child still, her scope of exploration remained somewhat limited. Safety of course. Though she yearned for more adventure each day. The young girl sat by her favorite spot, listening to the rush of the flowing water as she examined a particularly interesting flower in her front digits. Her goggled eyes were wide with joy and curiosity as it appeared she was intently studying a praying mantis she’d managed to capture perfectly perched on the flower. Beside her were a few sheets of parchment-like paper, and it appeared she was doing her best to draw the bug with a stick of charcoal on paper. Alas, though her ability to observe the environment was vast, her drawing skills needed some improvement - a strange set of blobs on paper were barely recognizable as an organism, let alone a mantis. But she was having fun, her face wide with a grin, white-tipped tail sweeping the grass with an uncontained excitement.

The older woman slowly makes her way toward the rushing creek’s that is part of the Abaven lands, her body needing to walk but Eulogy doesn’t really want to. Because of her past as a slave, arthritis has settled into her joints and, since winter has begun to settle over the land, simple movements such as walking, have become a painful endeavor. Still, if she wants to keep her range of motion, it is best to take slow walks. So, that is why Eulogy is slowly making her way toward the water with a thick cloak draped over her scarred shoulders and back.
As the creek comes into view so does the form of another wolf catches her attention and Eulogy lets out a soft ‘woof’ to alert them to her presence. The russet wolf seems intent on something before her and the older woman notices a piece of charcoal and pieces of parchment-esque sheets lay around the young wolf. With a gentle smile, Eulogy slows her approach toward the goggled youth and calls out softly, “Is it safe to come closer?” She doesn’t want to disrupt the russets wolf’s project but Eulogy is interested to see what the wolf is doing.
