Don't play with the misfit toys
[Hush]
Shoosuva Birsha It had been mere days since the monstrosity had come upon the shores of this land. His pace towards the beast in the distance was set in steady trot, glowing orbs set to the sights before him. Maw bloodied by the carcass he clenched in his sabered jaws. A young seal had fallen victim to the monster of the north. Its blood left a steady but scarce drip trail behind him. He didn't fear being found, n this place was a new land to him. Filled to the brim with new wonders such as the ice spire he surfaced by and this large dark being before him. nails clicked as he touched its surface, boarding the beast. Glowing orbs set upon its darkness through the den entrance. His senses told him this place was recently visited, the owner of its scent still around somewhere, but he cared not. They mattered little to him and should they come at the hulking monstrosity of a man he would do as he always did, make short work of them. He had a blank stoic look upon his face as he padded along, but the man hid his innermost thoughts and secrets well, and he knew it. His pelt was thick and as the wind buffeted him he didn't even look fazed. The cold air of the night didn't bother him. He followed the dim light of the moon down into the darkness, head was held high and his tail upright. A small adjustment made as he moved into the beasts belly. The sound of his claws clicking on the floor and the ever so quiet sound of his breathing his only companion, but he was used to it. The Wendigo was his only companion unto himself. He prodded deep into the beast seeking its darkest chambers bringing with him the light of his eyes to light the way and his ears pricked tall for any sign of others. Click...click...click...click; the distant sound of claws against metal made the monster's eardrums twitch, the shells of her ears perked up instantly from their relaxed position on her crown. Mismatched jade and amethyst eyes glittered in the darkness as the noise of something big drew closer to her, darkness helping her to stay hidden. The musky scent of a male wafted through the ship with the aid of a draft, making her mouth water and forcing her to snake her pink tongue out to keep from making a slobbery mess on the floor. It had been ages since she had a good meal, something more substantial than the vermin on the ship anyway. She unfurled her massive shape to peel herself from her bed, her paws landing silently on the metal floor as she moved to peer into the darkened hallways where the sound of someone exploring grew closer and closer. She knew it was a wolf by the smell of him, a healthy male; the sound of his claws speaking to his size. The gears in her head began to turn as she wondered what the man would taste like, judging by his scent she figured he would be spicy - not the way peppers are spicy, but the way curry was spicy.
If she had been a creature raised in a happy, healthy home, she would have gone out to greet the man and offer friendly hospitality. Instead, the creature was raised in a less than hospitable abode by monsters and demons. In her birthplace, Hush learned to be the most terrible, the most monstrous, the scariest of the demons she resided with. Thus she remained shrouded in shadow, waiting to strike. Her upbringing did give her a few skills that most didn't possess, having learned to deal with dark minds and appetites and how to stay out of others crosshairs. She was young still, only a year old, but had already earned a nickname she cherished above all others. Baba Yaga is what they called the boogeyman in her home country, to become the thing that most monsters feared was quite a feat, but to become the boogeyman of those shrouded in darkness and insanity at such a young age was another accomplishment entirely. She adopted the name Baba Yaga, and became what others were afraid of. Her true name would never be known to anyone, here she would be known as Hush or Baba Yaga only.
Upon seeing the soft orange glow in the hallway, Hush rose to her full height; unfurling her pale form from the darkness and moving forward to place herself just inside the doorway, silent as a specter. Her paws did not betray her movement, not a single sound was made. She might be confused for a ghost that haunted the belly of the hulking metal beast if not for the whisper of crystalline breath that left her nose in thin wispy sheets. Soon enough, the male cruised past her to give her the first look at the intruder who dared breech her lair's inner sanctum. Holding her breath as he moved passed the doorway, Hush took in the appearance of the man. He was a hulking figure, matching her height but surpassing her in bulk, his muscular form exuding confidence in droves as he peered through the darkness ahead of him. The glow she had spied came from the fiery pits of his eyes, which captivated the curiosity of the dark witch, along with the length of his fangs. Hunger clawed at the pits of her stomach as the handsomely earthen colors of the male moved passed her while she held her breath to not give away her position. Luckily he happened to look at the door across from her, which afforded her an advantage of stealth.
Stepping out behind the male as he sailed passed her with all the confidence of a slowly drifting continent, the ghost moved silently, taking special care to match his paw steps perfectly and keep her nails lifted off the metal floor so she could avoid detection. Keeping several paces between them, Hush followed this new mass of muscle and weaponry with her tail and head held high, her masked face showing a focused expression in the dark. The mismatched jewels of her jade and amethyst gaze glittered with the pale light given by his eyes, and they stayed glued to his bulk, boring into his backside as they walked. Her distance was maintained in case he should turn back suddenly, giving herself some reaction time to duck into a room and stay out of sight.
Shoosuva Birsha He had a gut feeling as he wandered in the belly of the beast that he was watched. A smirk came to his face. Either his mass kept them at bay or something else. The monstrosity turned the corner into a dark room, the only light here from his own eyes. The scent amongst the ship was feminine, not that that mattered. As he turned the corner and ducked out of view he let the seal he was carrying drop from his jaws. Plop. A grin came to his face, wide and demented as he walked over his dinner. Two could play this game of silent stalker. He ducked well into the shadows so not even his from would be visible, only his eyes as he came to turn around and face the set of eyes that watched him. This room had no exit except where3 he had come in, but being cornered did not scare him. This was where he waited, eyes intent and focused on the doorway and his tail swaying behind him. Danger was exuded from him in waves. The locals of his home had dubbed him the Wendigo for a re4ason, if this woman wanted to play he would show her why. His face was blank other than the intense stare he held for the doorway, waiting. Sabers dripped blood from his seal and he had set his trap for her. His head dropped but eyes held the doorway and his hackles raised slightly. Lets see how this one likes to play. His breathing became shallow as he slowed his breathing and heart on purpose, concealing himself from the woman. She may of made a mistake in following and only watching. He wasn't stupid, but he wasn't something you just crossed for pleasure. Monstrous atrocities "Monstrous utterances" Monstrous Concepts

Despite the creature's best efforts, awareness seemed to seep into the male's posture. Disappointment crept into the mismatched eyes of the demonic woman, knowing she had lost the element of surprise thanks to the well-honed self-preservation of potential prey. As the male rounded the corner, Hush felt her ears slide back on her skull involuntarily, apprehension beginning to sink into her mind as she lost sight of him. Plop. The scent of blood had attracted her to him to begin with, hunger pinching hatefully at her stomach when she detected the metallic bouquet. Sitting around the corner out of sight, the demon's ears twitched at the sound of the body dropping. In the darkness, her ears strained for the tell-tale sounds of the male tucking into his meal, but the room was almost painfully silent save for the shuffling of massive paws. He set a trap for the boogeyman, amusement showed in the crazed woman's mismatched eyes.
Clinging to the shadows, Baba Yaga moved toward the pitch black room around the corner, appearing in the dark like a mist. Her paws were silent as she moved closer to the seal carcass, her dark nose twitching in the dark, searching to pinpoint the male's location. She didn't move too far away from the door, the giantess effectively blocking his exit and giving herself a chance to escape if needed in the same motion. Reclining back on her haunches, the woman issued a sound that very closely resembled a cat's purr, double vocals harmonizing within her throat; it was a sound to ensnare and enchant. As if she didn't already have his full attention the moment she materialized in the room, Hush spoke softly, giving her voice a more ethereal feel than sounding as if there were two beings speaking in sync.
From this angle, Hush found her eyes catching on a dim orange glow bouncing about, a wide smile curling her painted lips. Like a ghostly snake, the monster slipped up beside the source of the glow, drawn in like a demonic moth to flame. Jade and amethyst glittered in the pale glow, a testament to her proximity as she waited for their light to fall on her crazed face. Hoping to startle him with her sudden appearance so close to his side, Hush was prepared to move if she had to avoid those deadly looking saber-teeth.
His patients were awarded with the sight of the female. His mouth curved up into a sadistic smirk as she looked directly at him. His lips lifting and wrinkling his muzzle all in one swift motion. Yet no sound escaped him. He waited, the only movement or sound came from a shift in his weight to ready himself to launch should she not think better of her actions.
Even as she sidled into he room the monstrosities only movement was to cant his head. His eyes stayed on her form until she disappeared. A chuckle released from deep within barrel chest, rumbling thunder to the ears. Her voice beside him did nothing to put him off. His eyes shifted then to the form as she faded back into the dark. He had an edge here though. His paws were set in motion as his face moved once more into an unreadable mask. he moved his eyes casting their dim light, causing his eyes to catch on hers as they glinted. His paws stopped him mere inches from her, his nose almost touching hers.
Hush heard the low, rumbling chuckle echo throughout the room as she moved slowly and silently to his position. With her odd greeting delivered, she backed away to be out of strike range, but the male turned and set his glowing gaze on her anyway. Caught in the dim orange glow, Hush gave a twisted smile to showcase her own fangs, a maddened cackling erupting from her as he came upon her. Hunger rose, and there stood before her in all his confident glory was a whole snack, just waiting to be devoured. The male stood inches from chattering teeth and softened growls, her laughter turning into a dual-toned rumble. Being this close, Baba Yaga could not help but to stare into the glowing pupil-less eyes of the stranger, her smile turning into a crazed snarl as he spoke then returning once again to a grin. The urge to snap into his muzzle overtook her senses for a moment before some reason slipped in, the result was her opening her mouth and reaching forward slowly to clamp the top of his muzzle in between her teeth with the barest amount of pressure. Her black-rimmed ears pulled forward, masked porcelain face contorting into a snarl then relaxing once again as she maintained eye contact the entire time she acted.
It was not truly aggressive movement, more like slow motion dominance, he needed to know he could not just barge in on her vessel. Not like this. Perhaps if he shared his meal as an offering, but she wasn't sure how to express that in the common tongue. Dual tones seemed to be sweet, but there was a hidden command in her question as she pulled away from him.
The monstrosity kept his eyes on hers the entire time, and as she went to bite onto the top of his myzzle the deep snarl that resonated from him took on a sound new to her but not to him. It was like a wind hissing through a frozen canyon. Deep but sharp in its tone. It was his only warning to her. The wendigo would not tolerate another attempting to dominate it.
Tail lifted, hairs standing on end as his displeasurewith her motions was expressed. His eyes stayed on hers as he moved even more into her space. A whisper released as lips met her ear, deep but hollowed and raspy, as if she had released something the moment she attempted to dominate him.
Her words were not lost on him but her actions did not speak good for her, yet. A snort was released from him, a shake of his pelt. As he turned towards the seal a mumble released to himself. It was time to put the monster back in its nice and neat little box. If he was going to have allies he'd need to play nicer probably. He snapped up the seal, anger being released upon it as he then tossed it with ease at her direction.
