He returned. Torben's heavy steps carried him through to the field of battle. A place to practice and test oneself. He huffed a challenge out to anyone in the vicinity, then waited for them to show themselves. The intention was a fair fight, a spar of sorts. Preferring with no familiars or items to give them an edge, the Dire Wolf would rely on his size and muscle. As a representative of Valhalla, he had to do better than he had been. While he had won against High King Ardyn, Torben considered it a lucky fluke. If he truly was to master fighting, he needed to practice and fight against a variety of foes. When the day came to lay down his life for something, he would find peace in that. Until that moment came, he would be content to learn and grow. Prepare for that day to come on his own terms, rather than someone else's. ooc; would prefer someone around the same skill level for fairness |

The place wasnt any different of the wasteland down Auster, a place she could guess existed for battle and blood spills. The smell impregned the air, scents of old blood and rotten flesh. That a nice place, it seemed like she came across fetid locations. It was fun and she couldnt help but laught at the though. But this time she would use the place as it was meant to be. She wanted to feel someone's fangs on her skin and vice versa. Whoever she came across she would pounce at. Size had never been an issue nor a reason to stop her from kicking someone's butt. She knew she had her own advantages as an small yet agile wolf. The split faced bitch found her pale blue eyes fell on a pale figure, yet one bigger than many. Same size as the previous male with horns and fun pelt patterns. This one though held no colors, washed completely of any hues beside pinkish white, like the half of her own face. She approached with an smirk on her features. "Hello there big boy, care for a fight with me?" Would he mind fighting a flea like her? And as promised she would pounce here and now. She rushed to the wolf's left side, aiming to form a T with the man. Then she aimed to bite on his left back leg, aiming to pull it out of under him. Paying attention to his next moves. If she thought he would roll over and be defeated, she would be wrong. Her strength was dwarfed by his size, heavier and heftier. Her grab at his limb would be met with toned muscle, and he barely twitched at her teeth. Torben raised a free paw and attempted to knock some sense into the woman. Rushing into battle was not a bright thing to do; it showed inexperience and lack of skill. Her words made him barely blink. She was trying to act tough, perhaps the woman had an inflated ego? He would thankfully be the one to bring her back to the earth. If he had been anyone else, she would be handled roughly. A lesson would be learned in the end, but not by his paw. He aimed a cuff upside her head, using his weight against her. He didn't like to do it, but he felt a bit irked by her. Though he would remain calm and collected. Not rash and idiotic. |

"Enough." Their skills were vastly different than each other. Torben felt bad shoving her around like a doll of some kind, despite her attitude. He broke away from the woman, the clear victor. While he could have said more to her, he felt there wasn't a need. Her ego could shove it away, and not take advice. Either way, he began to move away from her. Eventually, he'd become a speck on the horizon as he exited the battlefield. A poor choice of foe indeed. He would seek worthy opponents from now on, not ones that had arrogance to them and did not back up their words. /end |
