So her mentor was Themisto. She frowned as her small, pale gray paws carried her through the territory, not far from the den that she and her siblings called home. She sighed and slowed to a halt, hitting a pebble out of her path with a swat of her paw. But he was a healer. Did that mean she was going to have to be a healer too? But she wanted to fight! She wanted to be big and strong like her dad! She huffed disappointedly and her ears drooped back against her head. What was so fun about picking plants and being around sick, hurt wolves all the time? But what else would she do? She asked herself this as she continued on, looking for her new mentor. She was so tiny... Even compared to her siblings she felt really small. How could she fight when she was so thin and small? Ugh, nothing was going right. And so the man would seek out his little companion, for Maverick had assigned him a child to mentor. He did not know this child, all he knew was her name and her parent's names. He knew she was young, and he hoped that she would be interested in healing like he was- but if not, then he would train her in whatever subject she desired to learn. Peach colored orbs would scan his surroundings as he searched for her. She was very small, he knew that for sure, so finding her might not be so easy. "Jendai?" He would call out, hoping she would come to him. His head swung from left to right as he searched, but still nothing. Where could she possibly be? Her over-sized, charcoal tipped ears flicked and she stopped in her tracks as a wolf's voice reached out to her. He was calling her name, but it wasn't a voice she recognized. Who could it be? She turned around toward the noise, her vibrant green gaze searching out its source. Soon a male came into view and she recognized him as her mentor. She had seen him around the territory, but had never spoken to him. Well, she guessed it was time to change that. Grudgingly padding over to him, Jendai dipped her head in as greeting.
