In the time he had been gone to get some alone time, Sparrow had managed to capture someone. Not that he was surprised that the Pirate King was capable of doing such things. Gilgamesh was more curious as to who this someone was. There was only a slight limp left on his ankle from his recent injury as he made his way toward the ship. Hidden away in the depths of the cavern, the boarded-up vessel was typically only used by Sparrow and for occasional events. Hoping aboard and making his way to where he could scent the newcomer, Gil grinned at Friar. "I swear on my title of Pride, I will not harm the lass," he brought a large paw to his chest and winked for good measure. The companion scowled but allowed him through the door anyway. Slipping inside, Gil waited for the door to click and lock shut behind him before taking a seat. Leveling his gaze upon the koi girl, he held an expression somewhere between amusement and curiosity. "So, you're the one, aren't you? The one who broke her heart?" His tone isn't accusatory, no. More... speculative than anything. He had been one of the ones who had attended the party to commemorate Sparrow's woes. It wasn't lost on him to know what the girl had looked like, but still... Why be so hung up on someone that chose a different dude anyway? Not that he would ever say that to Sparrow, but he could at least bully the captive for a bit. Why not have a bit of fun? ”Speech” ’Thought’ |

Someone was talking outside her door, uttered a quick sentence before they were allowed in. She couldn't tell if she despised her visitors for gawking at her like some sort of prize, stowed away at the back of a cavern, or whether she appreciated the crumbs of attention she was getting. As far and few in-between as they were. The newcomer wasn't someone she recognised, his form dappled and splodgy but not in a koi way. More canine than anything else, like a few generations ago his kin were more dog than wolf. But now he was clearly a wolf through and through, tall and well-built with several mutations littered across his frame. Probably not someone she should annoy too much but she still wasn't in a very hospitable mood.
Rolling over on her makeshift throne of pillows, Hanako let a scoff pass her lips. His tone wasn't outright cruel but she didn't appreciate the pointed nature of his question, like she ought to go on the defence. Like she'd done something wrong. It was easier to pretend she hadn't, that she was a victim of fate and circumstance. Wholly innocent till she decided she didn't want to be.
"What's it to you?" She returned, equally speculative.

Watching her roll over on the makeshift bed and let out a scoff, Gil could only roll his eyes in return. Was she going to be petty as well? The one who got captured and dragged back here to be locked away in a run-down pirate ship? He had guessed correctly when she asked what it was to him if she was indeed the girl who broke Sparrow's heart. Bringing a paw up to tap his chin and looking up at the ceiling, he hummed loud enough for her to hear. "I suppose it's nothin' to me," he starts as he brings his yellow gaze back down. "But Sparrow was pretty torn up and from what I've heard, you cozied on up to your next victim," the teasing grin on his lips revealed the elongated fangs that he could push out or retract whenever he pleased. Letting his front paws slide forward until he was laying on the wooden floor, he looked down at his paws and began picking at each nail meticulously. "Now, it really isn't any of my business, but since you're our prisoner, I figure I might come to visit you a bit," Gil glances at her from beneath his eyelashes for a second before going back to picking at his nails. "I can see why Sparrow likes ya. You got a pretty coat and you sound like you got yourself a spunky attitude. Pirates like that kind of thing, ya know?" He grins as he lets his fangs slide out from beneath his lips. "Maybe she wouldn't mind sharing you sometime?" His grin never fades as he continues to pick at his claws. Let the girl think that she might be in some sort of danger or whatever it was that real villains actually did to prisoners. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |

Hanako made a point of rolling her eyes at the word victim. This wasn't the sort of encounter she was used to, didn't really know what to do when barbed quips were tossed her way, a natural result of almost always getting her own way. Just coasting through life. That's why she was so on edge, she supposed, yanked out of an environment she knew and was familiar with into this...where no one had a shred of respect for her. She glanced over as the looming newcomer settled down, made a point of picking his claws in an implied threat. Sparrow had said no one was to hurt her, but would they listen? Probably, the risk was low unless she pissed off the wrong person.
Ignoring the quip about being a prisoner, she was but she HATED that title, Hanako quirked a brow.
"Well at least you have functioning eyes." There was no denying she was pretty, beautiful, whatever you wanted to call it. And most folks like that about her, it's what drew them in. Her personality though? Not so much, not that she'd admit it. When confronted she'd smile and batter her eyelashes, what personality? "Maybe." She then responded with a shrug, making a point of being nonplussed, unfazed.
If he laid a paw on her, she'd see to it that Azure would ensure that was the last time he had said paw. It made her feel more in control, like she still had her lofty pedestal to look down at others from.

The man wasn't sure if the girl really was unphased by his words or if she was simply acting. She rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders, making little comments about his eyesight. Sure, he knew an attractive wolf when he saw one, but this one wasn't really his type. Gil let the silence hold for a few moments after her maybe. Was maybe good enough for her to worry that someone might actually make a move on her? Or was she truly that slutty to let anyone get in her pants? It made him curious as he placed his paw on the wooden boards beneath him and finally turned his whole attention to her. "I gotta ask for curiosities sake," he pauses, yellow eyes lingering on her smaller form. "How many? How many did you convince to fall into bed with you before you left them out in the cold?" Gil tilts his head a little to the left, a dangerous smile playing on his lips. It wasn't that he cared, but maybe it would be a way to tick her off, to cause a bit of irritation for implying she was a harlot. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |

Hanako wasn't entirely sure what to make of him, he was forward, too forward and she sensed he'd only push more the further he spoke. What was his problem? Either way she knew she couldn't outright ask him what his problem was, but she hated this line of questioning. Really had to smooth out her expression, bite back the urge to get all stroppy and stompy, offended beyond measure. But what good would that do? Nothing she did here did any good, that's the sort of situation she was in.
She pretended to think about it for a moment, her grip slipping on the frayed edges of her sense of togetherness. Like she'd snap at any moment, not that he didn't deserve it but.
"Awfully forward, aren't you? Didn't you hear what Sparrow said at the meeting?" She sniffed indignantly, wouldn't touch him with a ten-foot branch out of principle alone.

This Hanako really thought herself a princess, didn't she? Even the way she huffed and raised her nose to the air was so... ew. There wasn't any way Gil could even begin to contemplate sleeping with such a prissy little girl. Even with how the silence dangled between them as she waited to reply to his way too forward of a question, Gil thought she might not reply. That was until she asked if he remembered what Sparrow had said at the pack meeting. Which he would never understand why she was there if she had been a prisoner, but nonetheless. A rumbling laugh exited his lips. "And I quote not a single one of you will bring harm to her. Are you implying that my poor measly words are hurting you, princess?" Gil sneered, taunting her as he turned his body to face her more forwardly. Both ears perked forward as he raised a brow in her direction. Flexing his claws as they slightly gouged the wood beneath him, he let out a huff. "I have no intention of physical harm, Hanahoe, is it? That doesn't mean I can't wound your pride or dignity," he continues as his tail flicks in the air, hoping he has pushed over the emotional threshold. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |
