She trotted across the plains, hot on the trail of the Mist, Drachen. She’d had a long talk with Ardyn and Aurielle, getting briefed on the health of the pack, and making notes of who to check in with, first. Drachen had been injured during the Long Night, and while he’d healed, it was always good to check in and found a good relationship with your patient-base.

Finally, she found the den he’d made for himself. The scent was fresh, so she set aside her pouch of supplies and called down into the den, “Good morning, Drachen. I am Eramaya. I was checking in to see how your injury from the Long Night healed, if you have time.”

She stepped back and settled on her haunches to one side of the den-entrance to give the man room to exit if he was open to the check-up.
