Prized Pooch

Artisan had sunk every minute of his free time into crafting since the moment he'd discovered they had a new captive. It had taken effort, real effort to not only find and trade for the basic materials, but also to adorn the finished design with obsidian flakes scavenged from the beach. The leash and collar would shine beautifully in the sunlight, drawing all eyes to the prize which he intended to tote around their territories, exactly how he assumed Sparrow would prefer it.
He arrived at the door to where she had been contained, giving a grin to Friar and wagging the leash and collar combination before him. Sparrow had requested he bring the companion along for extra security which was fine, it was more then likely that he'd need Friar's help restraining the Koi wolf anyways should she not take kindly to the idea of her walk.
Politely he rapped his paw upon the door, then waited for the companion to find his keys to unlock it. "Hope you're decent, I'm coming in!" He called through the crack. Artisan waited a beat, and then shouldered the door open to reveal the prize within.
Lifting the bedazzled leash and collar set for her to see, he offered her a grin. "Hi there, I'm Artisan and I'll be taking you for your walk today!"
Artisan wears multiple twine bracelets around his forelegs, each one with different colored homemade marble-like beads upon it. Each bead corresponds to a wolf who he has met and decided deserved a place on his wrist, and thus he might ask your character for a lock of fur, etc to add to his creation to remember your character by.
Unless otherwise stated, you can assume he is wearing them at all times.
Artisan's companions are two blue and yellow macaws, their names are Siri(F) and Cisco(M) and while they can be assumed to always be nearby, they're likely out of sight.

Hanako was bored, bored beyond belief. As much as she liked lazing around back home it was a matter of choice, she could wander about if she liked, but here she had no option but to wait for others to come to her. And even then she couldn't say she was overly fond of their company, Eden aside no one had been very nice to her. Seemingly enjoyed pestering her far too much, like she deserved all this.
Huffing, her ears flicked forward as the door swung open once more. What now? She didn't even bother to get up to greet them, they weren't special and her bed was comfy.
A somewhat familiar face waltzed in and it took Hanako a moment to realise who it was, that she'd raced-and beaten- him before. It was hard to focus on what he was saying though, something about decency, as her gaze narrowed in on the bedazzled leash on offer. For a moment she didn't quite understand what he was getting at, she stared wide-eyed and confused, lips in momentary speechlessness.
"You're what?" And then the offence kicked in, refusal and disdain rearing its ugly head as she shot him the dirtiest look she could muster. And to think she'd once thought he was alright. "No no no. You're mistaken. I am not wearing that."

Yeah, that was about the reaction Artisan had expected. He threw himself down on his rump on a soft plush rug and twirled the collar around his paw, eyeing her very scorned expression with amusement and not even attempting to conceal it. "Oh come on, you have absolutely no interest in stretching those long legs of yours? Feeling the sand between your toes? The wind in your fur, the sun on your back?"
Tossing the collar to the primate companion to hold, Artisan sighed, stood, and began his casual approach to the bedding on which she lay. "Just between you and me, this is non-negotiable. You can fight it if you want, but I think it will be best for your pride if you can say that you agreed to it. I'll even let you pretend that it was your idea, a compromise you forced upon the big bad pirate in exchange for a little freedom. How's that?" The koi-wolf was not getting out of this unless she pulled some strength out of her ass and forced him away, but Artisan was not a cruel wolf. He was a simple man - he wanted his walk, and he'd get his walk, but it'd be a lot less enjoyable if the lady spent the whole time crying. The best outcome was one in which he could have his fun and not feel like he'd kicked a puppy while he was doing it.

She'd figured, or rather hoped, he'd drop the matter at her refusal, but of course he didn't. He was a pirate after all. She stiffened, ears flicking back as though refusing to take in his words, refusing to budge an inch. Of course, she wanted to go outside, she liked lying around as much as anyone else, but she was a runner and swimmer at heart. She'd whopped his ass during a race, he had to know that, surely. But the thought, the humiliation of it all was enough to have her gritting her teeth, making her want to refuse and kick up an almighty fuss. The sort that was so loud it'd carry on the wind all the way back to the Armada.
And yet, she sort of saw his point? Faintly, like an ant crawling around near her paws. They weren't gonna just let her walk off on her merry way, lest she make a run for it, so this was a compromise? Sort of, though Hanako wasn't feeling charitable enough to even call it that.
"And what do you get out of it? Some sick sort of pleasure?" She scoffed, her gaze scathing. "What's it with you pirates?" And to think she'd considered hanging out with them once, terrible.
She got to her paws but made no move to be agreeable, to even step closer to him than the space allowed. She just wanted to be taller, she supposed, act like they were on equal footing.
"And how is this non-negotiable?" She pressed, hoping she'd call his bluff.

Still, she argued. Artisan shook his head in mock disappointment, giving a soft sigh at her antics not unlike one a parent might give to their unruly pup. "You wound me, Hanako. I get no sick satisfaction out of it, just a lovely walk beside a lovely lady!" It wasn't even entirely a lie - he did simply want a nice walk alongside his pretty new pooch, but it definitely would not be as enticing an experience if she wasn't properly harnessed and bedazzled like a proper pet should be.
She stood and Artisan straightened, stepping forward (into what would definitely be considered her personal bubble) to lord his extra height over her in the most casual way. His bluff had been called and it was up to him to uncharacteristically subdue her before he had to ruin his fun and actually start a fight. "It's non-negotiable as in, in thirty seconds you will be in this collar. The sun is going down and we don't have time to clean you up after, so if we're going to do this your way, you'd better be prepared to go out in public looking like a used and beaten rag." Meeting her gaze firmly, he waited.

Hanako huffed and puffed, fur ruffled as she stared up at him. She didn't want to get into a tussle, knew she wouldn't win and was starting to feel cornered. Like she had no choice, never had one really. Shooting him the dirtiest look she could muster, Hanako took a step back. One of defeat and to give herself a little more room, cause she felt like she really needed it.
"I don't like you." She squinted at him, doubling down on petulance as that was all she had left at her disposal. "And you're a slow runner." Naturally she had to throw that back in his face, she'd never let it go since she was holding this stupid leash thing over her head. Was only fair, right?

Artisan's lips broke from their firm line back into a grin as she took the step back that sealed her fate. Ignoring her bitter remarks entirely. "Good girl." He praised. If only he had a treat to throw at her, for extra measure. With a toss of his head he gestured for the monkey to get her set up in her new accessories, gingerly grabbing the end of the lead between his teeth and rolling it around his tongue while he waited.
Once the koi-wolf was properly secured and the companion back upon his shoulder as a guard, the pirate gave a gentle tug of the leash and led her out toward the door. "Watch your step, lovely lady." Into the cavern and out onto the beach, he could not help but turn his head back to her to admire the way the gemstones shone in the light. "See? Not so bad, eh?" He mumbled around the lead.
