Azure, it seemed, had enjoyed his vacation with his father just a bit too much. He was not one to partake in drugs or alcohol, having tried such substances maybe twice in his life before this season; it was not generally a good idea for a sadistic and cruel individual who was trying to hide from the world to willingly enjoy a drink that would drop his inhibitions. The draw to partake was understandable however, the alcohol was numbing and comforting and erased all traces of pain, doubt, and even anger by the time he made it to the bottom of the bottle. Azure felt like he'd suddenly shed all responsibility and worry, gravitating first to his old pack lands and then beyond. By the time he really stopped to see where he was, it was too late and he was too drunk to swim back.
Sprawling out in the sand beneath the sunset was something the behemoth of a wolf had not done since he was very young, back when things were simpler, easier, and every move he made was much less likely to start a full on war. Basking in the warmth and swimming in intolerance, he allowed himself a moment of quiet enjoyment where there was no Sparrow, no Hana, no children, no Armada, and no war brewing between families.
OOC Note: Uhm... I genuinely can't anticipate how a drunk Azure will take anything so I guess, here, have an unpredictable wolf warning.
Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.

Who didn't like a private island party? A one man party wasn't very fun at all, but he had traveled far too north from Auster to consider making even part of the trip tonight. Instead, he saw what looked like a structure on a small island from the mainland and made his trip over. The waters here were far warmer than he was used to even during the spring making it quite easy for the tipsy man to make the swim over. Alcohol was a part of his life now, though he was careful not to go too overboard. Tonight there was nothing holding him back, however.
He was at least somewhat smart enough to settle down within the dilapidated structure overgrown with various plants both inside and out. Shattered glass littered the floor and he was careful to maneuver around it until finding something to push it out of the way with. He was responsible, or at least tried to be, before settling in for another night alone.
The sun was setting and Sverre decided to watch from the beach while he drank. The air was warm for the northern native and so he grabbed the bottle he'd been working on and strode out to the beach, fully expecting to be alone. He had been alone, or so he thought, when he arrived some time ago. The place seemed otherwise vacant and hardly carried the scent of others, so he doubted he was on some claimed land. Sverre paused to take a swig of his drink before exposing himself on the beach, hoping the stranger would be at least tolerant of the idea of a visitor at least for the night.
Sverre dropped the heavy bottle that he carried between his jaws and it landed askew in the sand with a heavy thud, announcing his presence some yards away. "I hope you don't mind company."

Azure's head slid through the sand to catch sight of the stranger who had appeared. It was lazy, and the universe punished him properly for his sloth. Tiny grains of dirt, stone and sand ravaged the still-healing wound upon his ear as he shifted, his muzzle wrinkling in a pained grimace and his eyes sliding almost entirely shut. "Share?" Half a demand, half a question - it was like Azure wasn't entirely sure if he should be begging for the booze that had landed beside his head or threatening the man if he did not comply. Regardless, he did not intend on allowing the stranger the opportunity to say no. Reaching his paw out with his eyes still squinted shut, he felt blindly for the bottle. Grasping it by the neck in his claws, he tilted it down until the precious fluid leaked out onto his tongue.
Venturing one eye open, Azure got a good look at the man who had joined him for the first time. "I don't mind anything." He admitted, a bit of a laugh bubbling out as he realised how ironic the statement truly was. "What about you, what do you mind, wolf?" Drunk and slurring, it was difficult to form the question the way he wanted it to be spoken. Whether the stranger would understand his meaning or not was yet to be seen, but Azure was not about to struggle to repeat himself clearer.

The man was quick to grab the bottle and took a drink after a half-demand for him to share. Sverre smirked with a laugh and lowered his haunches to sit in the sand. His gaze wandered briefly, out to sea at first and towards the horizon before coming back to the larger man splayed out in the sand. He hadn't expected to find anyone else out here, but was at least happy to see the other man was harmless at least for now. Sverre didn't seem to be encroaching on a territory that he believed to be his, so he let a breath of air slowly escape his lungs while his questioned was answered and returned.
It was clear the man had been drinking for some time at least and wondered what he had had. He didn't mind sharing his bottle, but the more the merrier. He answered the mans question with a shrug first, thinking over his words for a moment. "I mind a man drunker than me," he mused with a smirk, reaching for his bottle with the intent of taking it from Azure.

There did not seem to be any animosity from the stranger for having a portion of his liquor stolen, and that was about as much as Azure was equipped to observe. He remained unflinching in the sand as the man took his seat, stealing back the bottle with an insistence that he minded a wolf more drunk than he was. Azure scoffed, the exhale blowing up sand dust below his nose. "That's a very specific thing to mind." He commented, rolling his head back to continue to track the man's movements and expression from his place in the sand. By now his shuffling had begun to dug himself into a shallow hole, but it only made the choice of bed more comfortable and inviting.
"What about when you are alone? What drives you to drink then?" It was a personal question, perhaps, but Azure had never been a wolf who understood polite conversation even when he was sober. Eyeing the other wolf with interest, he waited to hear what problems drove normal wolves to the bottle, so he could determine whether his own reasoning was socially acceptable and sound.

Sverre hummed in response to the mans words first, narrowing his eyes as he studied the dark man for a moment. He wanted to be drunk too, happily bringing the bottle to his lips for a long drink, and then a second one. The man asked another question then, the only real reason he stopped filling his mouth with the strong liquor. Taking a deep breath to chase the drink, he set the bottle down between them and looked back to the man lazily.
"You said it yourself; being alone," he said with a shrug. Sure, he wasn't alone now, but certainly the man would understand what he meant. Although he didn't spend his time in the arms of many, he did long for something many of the nights he found himself drunk and tonight was hardly an exception. "What brought you to this beach drunk?" He asked then, drawing the attention off of his reasoning and onto the man sprawled out on the beach.
