The inside and the outside. The outside and the inside. Both? Sorta. Sorta, maybe. Maybe not. Maybe not both. Mostly outside. Mostly outside, but they'd taken care of her. They'd dealt with... her. They'd dealt with Rave and all her Rave-ness. Grateful? Grateful. Rave was grateful. She had to be. She had to be grateful. They could have turned her out. They could have taken her out on the spot. They could have... they could have. Should have? Probably should have. Was she okay? Was she ever? She was now. Physically. Physically Rave was okay now. The whole almost drowning thing had set her back. The whole severe concussion thing had set her back. The whole not having any social skills thing had set her back. But that's okay. She'd be... okay? Allegedly. They'd taken good care of her and she had to thank them. How do you thank someone? Rave didn't know. Frankly, Rave didn't have the faintest idea. Hmmph. Several days ago she'd caught a rabbit, and through that, she'd spent several days playing with the carcass. Playing with it? Er... treating it. If she'd been asked, she'd say treating it. Imagine, not blowing shit up. Not like she hadn't thought about it. Blowing shit up. Rave missed blowing shit up, actually, but that was really among the reasons she'd been thrown out of her familial home in the first place. That and the whole sick individuals should be euthanized mentality. Joke is on you, fuckers. She'd survived. She'd come out sorta whole, even. Right. Had to hold off on blowing shit up. Right. Had to make sure this family liked her. Rabbit. Rabbit carcass. Carcass. Rave had done a good job cleaning the bones, actually. Near obsessive cleanliness. The hide too. The hide! That was the idea. That was the good idea. From the hide she'd fashioned a small bag, one that was soft on the inside. Soft on the inside, good for holding soft things. Breakable things. What use did they have for breakable things? Rave was a breakable thing. Rave was soft on the inside. In her mind, it was a good gift. A good way to say thank you. Really, she didn't know how. Now all she had to do was find Chimera, find him and um... right, figure out where to say. Tracking was fine. She'd track him. Find him. Right. Though the trail wasn't particularly fresh, Rave followed it. He had to be around here somewhere? rave never had a soul so you ain't taking anything from me when you go |

Chimera was very... contemplative today. He was remembering those that had been lost. Viper was gone. He'd lost a whole litter of children. Was his mother still alive? His bastard father and brother? Those three he would likely never know about. Losing the children wasn't as bad since he didn't know them. Losing Viper though... Yes, they had disliked one another at the end, but he had loved her in his own way. And she had loved him. They both loved their son. Chimera missed her.
The black and white behemoth had gone out early in the morning to patrol the falls. After a long walk and no signs of danger, the man had decided to rest in a sunlight pool near the base of the falls. The sunlight had warmed the water enough so that the chill of the oncoming season was nonexistent. It felt good as the heat soaked into his body. A hard worker, Chi's muscles could always stand a bit of rest, though he rarely did so.
The sound of approaching paws brought mismatched ears shifting forward. The brute's dual-toned gaze fixed on the foliage ahead. Was it one of his or would he have to end his relaxation to teach someone a lesson? The pawsteps grew in volume. He would soon see.
Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.
