The day found Beauregard heading off in the direction of the Sparse Pines. Blind and Trill had left with him though, at this point, they were both off doing their own thing now. Trill enjoyed taking a flight through the warmer area and Blind was happy to go hunting for mice and the like. The yearling didn’t mind being alone sometimes, though it was pretty easy for him to start to feel lonely. He drew in a breath of fresh air as he looked around the green area. He knew that the Summer Fest was nearing though and he was excited to get to meet different wolves. He was even going to host one of the events which had him very, very excited! He’d do his best to make it fun! The young man wasn’t sure what he was going to do today. Maybe he could find somewhere to collect the pebbles he’d need for the event? Or maybe a pack member would need help with something? He wasn’t sure, he hadn’t seen anyone on his way out from the ship and thus far he hadn’t come across anyone in the Pines but… that wasn’t to say there wasn’t the chance he might come across someone else also preparing for the festival. He walked among the pines, his gaze sweeping the ground as he searched for a deposit of stones. He’d probably have a better shot at finding what he was looking for near the ship but… it didn’t hurt to look and try to find something different. Maybe he’d find a better option! "Talk, 'Think.' |

_________________________________________________________________ Wren had approached her to host an event during the Summer Fest. At first, Audra had had a flicker of surprise but realized that she was someone of importance now. She would be in charge of things and be looked to as a leader so it only made sense. Plus, the event would be easy for her and a challenge for others. That would be the fun part! The only downfall was that there were really no herbs in this northern region of Boreas. Audra had gone off for a short while to the other places she knew common herbs would grow that she could collect for the event. With her satchel stuffed full and a larger one slung over her companion's shoulder, they made their way back toward the S. S. Antiox. Having to pass through the Sparse Pines first, Audra slowed her pace. They were across pack borders and nearly there so they could take their time meandering back. The festival was still some time off so there was no hurry to get the herbs dried out. As she and Mack walked in companionable silence, a sound of paws not far off caught their attention. Freezing in place, she let Mack take a look first in case it was something unfriendly. Grizzly was common in these areas and known to be aggressive. After a moment, he nudged her shoulder in the direction the noise came from. With her limited eyesight, she noticed the familiar wolf also wandering through the spread-out pines. "I believe his name is Beauregard," she whispered under her breath to Mack as if he cared for the pleasantries of wolves. Without hesitation or confirmation that they should approach, Audra made her way over to the younger boy. "H-hello Beauregard, a-am I c-correct?" Audra asked as she paused a few feet away. Mack dutifully at her shoulder in case she ever needed protection or someone to lean on. The stutter was obvious, but one she was no longer ashamed of. New wolves always made her nervous in a way that she couldn't fix so it merely took time and adjustment for her to relax and get used to one's company. "Wren m-may have mentioned m-me, but I am Audra," her smile is pleasant as she shifts her weight between her paws. _________________________________________________________________ A U D R A

Beauregard had been searching, alone and in thought, when another approached him and spoke. He lifted his head, gaze shifting to the woman. He knew her as the Cleric of Menagerie, Audra, he believed, and it seemed she was double checking his name as well. They had never spoken together before, but that was alright. They had plenty of time to get to know each other as packmates. The ashen cream yearling smiled warmly at her and gave a small nod. “That’s right.” The Menagerie Mage straightened a little. He was proud to be here in Menagerie alongside the other wolves he called packmates. “Yeah! Wren’s told me about you, a little. You’re our lead healer… the one who’s going to be taking a look at Tanelan.” His tail began to wag back and forth as he glanced between her and her companion. “I’ve been wanting to everything I can to help my packmates, especially Tan. If there is anything I can do that will make your job easier as a healer I’d be happy to help you. Even gathering herbs! I’m not really good with their names or uses, but if you tell me what they look like I can help you look for them.” He was already speaking happily and eagerly with the healer. Nevermind the fact that they just met. To Beau, it was as if they had always known each other. And like any packmate he would help her out no questions asked. "Talk, 'Think.' |

_________________________________________________________________ Audra's tail wagged happily in response to Beauregard's pleasant demeanor. It was nice to be around so many happy-go-lucky wolves! Smiling gently, she listened to him chatter away. While Beau spoke, her companion, Mack, shifted away with a respectful nod toward the wolves before disappearing up a tree. Paying no mind to the bobcat, Audra tilted her head slightly to the side. Wondering how he and Tanelan had met, she put her questions to the side for now. Pushing her inner therapist to the side, she let out a quiet but bubbling laugh. "Th-there are n-not many herbs th-that can survive th-this far north," Audra responds in a stuttering voice. "I d-do appreciate th-the offer," she smiles before glancing around the pine needle forest. "I'm s-sure there are m-many th-things near th-the pack l-lands to keep you b-busy," the petite girl adds on as her one-eyed gaze turns back to Beauregard. "Wh-what brought you out h-here today?" She asks to be nice and hopefully get to know him a bit more. _________________________________________________________________ A U D R A
