He sometimes wished he had been born in a pack with less children. You couldn't fling a fish without hitting someone's kid. Mama told him to be nice, but Bae was always 'nice' unless it warranted words exchanged. Then, he'd cut them off with a fluid motion of sharpness. He'd only ever done this to his siblings, even then rarely done. He hoped not to do it to others unless they really piss him off.

Bae walked along the shoreline, collecting as he went. A pretty shell or two would be welcomed in the family den, and something spikey and sharp for Papa could be acceptable... His eyes lit up as he saw the tide wash in lots of goodies. The boy approached a patch of seaweed. "Good for..." he murmured, eyes narrowing as he thought "nutritions... vitamins... Good for the stomach. Dry it before use..." He repeated what Mama had said upon a time. He began to pull the seaweed - realizing it was stuck on a rock.

Just great.
